  1. I would adore that! The UCS Hulkbuster is also an interesting idea but I don’t think it’ll happen.
  2. Maybe, but that would make it an odd choice for the D2C since the design wouldn’t be very well known or iconic.
  3. When we first heard the news about the set, I believe that @Catanas said it would be £100 and in the months after that a few different sources (including mariopower) have pegged it at €/$160.
  4. I’m hoping the D2C is Avengers-based so we can get the figures we’re missing, since we won’t get figures like Scarlet Witch and Bucky in a space-based set. Where can the picture of the helmet be found?
  5. If it releases March 1st, it must be on the store calendar, so we’ll see it latest by February 1st! I’m kind of disappointed that it isn’t a Quinjet, because I can’t think of any other good guy ship as iconic. There’s the Milano, but we got one in 2014, 2017, and now 2018, so while a UCS style one would be amazing I don’t think it’ll happen. Is it still confirmed to be a vehicle? I really want Avengers Facility...
  6. I love that Gamora! I loved the build for her hair and the new prints look awesome. Great BrickHeadz for this theme. I’m definitely getting all of them.
  7. Because a traditional Lego battle pack (Star Wars, Chima, etc.) usually has four figures and a small build for $13-15, and this set fits that description exactly. It’s the cheapest way to get Outriders and they’re easy to army build with this pack, especially since you can sell off your extra Black Widow and Nomad figures and maybe make a few bucks back.
  8. I’m waiting for the long light gray tracks from the new City mine to hit BrickLink so I can expand my track with curves and stuff. The one in the set really is way too short.
  9. Daisy was new and exclusive. All characters were exclusive variants except for Donald (same as CMF) and Tinker Bell, who was a new character. I’d expect a regular trio with the set, a Dumbledore variant, maybe some teacher variants and one or two exclusive teachers, and maybe some exclusive students.
  10. Well, we didn’t think they would go easy on figures for a $350 huge castle build and they did. Given that we also have a CMF series I don’t expect more than 8 figures in Hogwarts.
  11. I think 10 is a good estimate. Some huge sets (Helicarrier, Disney Castle, UCS Falcon) only have 5-8 figures while others (like the Death Star) have 25. I would prefer to get a huge, amazing castle build with 8 figures rather than getting 20 figures and an okay build. I want them to put more effort into the actual set rather than the figures.
  12. Exactly. Those are the characters who will be remade every year or two if this line continues. We definitely do not need them in the CMF series. I love the obscure characters we’re getting (even though I think all four house ghosts is a bit excessive). I’m psyched for James and Lily since I love Lily and they’ve never had minifigures before. This series is going to be great!
  13. I’m dying to see the Infinity War box art in general- I’m sure it’s going to be beautiful, and I want to see what the red planet looks like on the Milano box...
  14. If this D2C is revealed at the end of January like the Helicarrier was, then maybe it’ll be on the March calendar along with this new figure as a gift with purchase.
  15. Is there a picture floating around or did you just hear a rumor? Black and gold sounds like the Ronin suit rumored for Avengers 4.
  16. That’s what I was thinking too. I just remembered the old Triceratops couldn’t open its beak either so there’s precedent for it. It’s not a big deal, at least the head still looks really nice.
  17. I definitely want one (not as much as I want an Avengers Facility though) and I’d definitely prefer the new design. A properly scaled Quinjet would be able to hold all the Avengers we could want it to hold.
  18. Just noticed that the Carnotaurus and Stygimoloch share the same arms, which is interesting. Does the Stygimoloch have an opening mouth? It doesn’t look like it and I would be disappointed if it didn’t...
  19. Me too! I love location based sets, and I won’t be able to get the Joker Manor for quite a while due to the new Hogwarts, so I hope this set fulfills my desire for a big and beautifully-styled mansion. I’m hoping for a good interior as well!
  20. Star Wars has $200 UCS vehicles based on retail size vehicles that are much smaller than the retail size Quinjets. The Snowspeeders in regular sets aren’t anywhere near the size of a Quinjet and they made a great $200 set out of it. And choosing a Quinjet design is easy- just go with the newest one. The Avengers 1 design is only in that movie and The Winter Soldier, but the new design has been seen in Age of Ultron, Ant-Man, Civil War, Homecoming, and Ragnarok. It’s a much better design than the first one as well and I think it looks a lot sleeker.
  21. A Quinjet is the most likely possibility. It’s appeared in multiple movies and is the most iconic vehicle for the Avengers. I’m perfectly happy with another if it’s UCS style and actually minifigure scale with a great detailed interior. It could also include great new figures for the Avengers, while a Statesman set could not. In addition to that, the Statesman has barely appeared in the MCU at all and would make for a strange D2C.
  22. I doubt it, usually we at least hear about the existence of an exclusive before release. And yeah, I’m excited to see how they build the skull but I’m annoyed that they still won’t give us an herbivore like a Triceratops in this line. And the lack of a Mosasaurus is becoming criminal.
  23. While I would prefer an Avengers Facility set as the D2C, I would definitely buy a UCS style Quinjet or Statesman ship as long as they were designed well and hopefully have good play features.
  24. J.K. Rowling said that he was a Chaser, but he’s mentioned as being a Seeker a few times in the books.
