I feel like Lego should make some dinosaur skeleton molds for museum sets.

Adult Lily and teen James isn’t that weird since they both only made it to the age of 21 before they died. And James was a Seeker, that was why Harry being so good was a big deal because he was the best since his father.

I think the description said Star-Lord and Gamora can both fit on the space bike, and if you can have figures sitting in it while it’s in the ship then that’s a 6 seater ship in total (assuming the cockpit and escape pod both fit 2), which is enough for all the Guardians.

It’s going to be a huge movie series and the first movie made decent money at the box office, and Lego is making sets for the theme, so it’s strange that they’re absent from the CMF.

I hope the list is real! It sounds awesome and I love the ghosts being included. However, no FB characters being included is weird because I thought the sets were under the “Wizarding World” banner and not “Harry Potter”. I have really high hopes for this wave, though!

I’m not surprised about the figure being a repeat, since he wears the same suit in BP and IW, but it would’ve been nice to get an eyes closed version.

I didn’t mean to say a new War Machine, whoops! I think even a repeat would be nice to get just because it’s been a while since he’s been available on shelves. I’m honestly surprised a Black Panther figure was put in a set because he just got his own wave of movie sets.

I don’t think the new Milano has room for figures in the middle, because there’s a deployable space bike in it and I’m assuming that’s taking up all the room. I think a new War Machine would be good because we last saw him in 2016 in a $80 set. Nebula should get a new figure because of how important she is in relation to Thanos, and if we don’t get a new Scarlet Witch I’m going to be mad since she has a completely new look.

Rogue One was a special case though, since a lot of that movie was changed from the time the first trailer releases. Thor’s eyepatch was purposefully edited out of marketing materials and Vision wasn’t shown (except for his eyes) because they wanted his design to be a surprise. Scarlet Witch was in every Ultron trailer. Marvel doesn’t really have stuff in their trailers that don’t make it to the finished movie. The biggest example I can think of is Hela’s first scene being moved from a New York alley to Norway. I think Hulk will be in that shot in the movie but I doubt he’ll be getting a figure in these sets- we already have two new bigfigs and I don’t know anyone who’s dying for another Hulk. I’d rather have characters like War Machine, the Winter Soldier, Scarlet Witch, Nebula, and Drax made for these sets.

That’s true, AFOLs are never 100% happy with the sets we get.

I don’t really think we need a third version of the same T. rex. One of the cars with the main characters would be good as a $20-30 set but I don’t think they’ll make one.

So the 7th set will be a summer release? What about the D2C?

Well, we got a Hammer Tech sticker and then a year later we got Hammer as a figure...

We see a Hulkbuster arm next to Banner in the trailer- perhaps the 7th set is also a Wakanda one, and pieces of the Hulkbuster are lying around? Or maybe the D2C has the other Iron Man suit we’ve seen and this Hulkbuster head is sitting on a table or something, like Tony was working on it.

That was my first thought when I saw it!

Mario posted a closer up image of the Hulkbuster. I love it even more than I already did now. The design is so much better than the already great one we got in 2015, the stickers really add some nice detail, and it overall just looks heavier and more powerful than the old one. I’m so excited for all of these sets and I’m afraid the D2C and 7th set will explode my brain.

Iron Man Mark 50 comes in both the Final Battle and the Sanctum sets. Could the other figure be in the 7th retailer exclusive or the D2C? Now for my overall thoughts: Outrider Dropship Attack- Awesome build! Very unique and unexpected. Figures are great too. I hope this one is only $13. Thor’s Weapon Quest- The escape pod build is very unique as well and much chunkier than I expected, which definitely isn’t a bad thing. I love the sand blue and the little forge on the side looks great. Thor having his eyepatch would be better but overall it’s still a very strong set, and I hope it’s just $20. Hulkbuster Smash-Up- I absolutely love it! It’s a great update to the old Hulkbuster build and I think I like it better since the head isn’t at as much of a weird slant like the last one was. The arms look bulkier and stronger and I like the little tower on the side with the ball shooter. Figures are cool, Proxima Midnight is definitely the best but it’s a shame her staff isn’t very well made. Falcon’s wings don’t look good. I far prefer the molded Civil War ones, these look a bit too big and bulky. Banner being a repeat is fine, and another Outrider is great to get! This set should only be $30. Corvus Glaive Thresher Attack- Drop dead gorgeous build. The trans purple is amazing and the entire wall just looks like a wonderful model for play and display. The gold stripes using the rod pieces are very nice, and the model has some good height to it. The thresher is strange but cool looking and will add good play value. The figures are amazing as well, Shuri is great to get and Corvus Glaive is pretty good. His weapon is pretty okay, would’ve been nice to get a new mold but this works well with existing pieces unlike Proxima Midnight’s weapon. Outriders are great, Vision and Black Panther are both fine as repeats. One of my favorite sets from this wave overall, I hope it’s $40. Thanos: The Last Battle- The build looks very interesting but extremely weird. Doesn’t look anything like the Milano at all, the Guardians were in the regular one in the SDCC trailer and not this ship. It doesn’t look like it’ll have much of an interior which is disappointing. Star-Lord not coming with his mask is kind of dumb, but the new Gamora and Iron Man both look great. That jetpack build is really cool! Thanos has grown on me even though I still think he could’ve been done a lot better. His sword is stupid, it still looks like a giant butter knife to me. The Gauntlet is a great piece though and I can’t wait to get my hands on it! The price for this one is going to be iffy. I was expecting a $80 set, but the build here isn’t worth that much. I hope it’s only $60, but it might be $70. Battle in the Sanctum Sanctorum- The crown jewel of this entire wave! The way they combined the buildings like that is great, giving us two facades that can be closed into a single building. The new window piece is awesome and the exterior really does have all the detail of a modular building, and they even include a water tower! The figures are great and it’s good to see that Strange actually comes with the complete cape. Cull Obsidian’s weapon looks cool and it’s nice to get two packs of the Power Bursts as well as such a long web string for Spider-Man. The set doesn’t really look worth $100 to me though. I’d prefer a $80 or $90 price point for this one. Can’t wait to see the 7th set and D2C!

The actual dinosaur has spikes on the back of its head which is why I’m disappointed in the head on the Lego version.

Darn it! I missed the picture of the Indoraptor. Can it be found anywhere else? Mario must have taken it down. Edit: Never mind, he sent it to me. Looks awesome and I love the new molds, but the head doesn’t look right to me. I feel like it needs to be more spiky at the back, and the entire dinosaur lacks printing. I don’t see any on the eyes and I would’ve liked some on the legs.

Blue is even more inaccurate than the last figure was. I love the look of the last one but the new one just looks like a random update to Charlie, and I don’t love the new lighter color.

Official Fallen Kingdom set images are out and we still don’t have even a glimpse of the Infinity War sets? This is getting a bit ridiculous.

The helicopter in the Blue set is okay but very boring and City-esque. I don’t like Blue’s new design, it seems much too light for her coloring. I hope that set isn’t $50, since we got two raptors in a $50 set last time. The Carnotaurus set looks great! I love the truck build and I really like this darker blue color scheme and more militaristic designs. The Gyrosphere station is much bigger than I expected and looks wonderful- it’s really nice to have some good overgrown terrain. The truck doesn’t look as bad as I was expecting, and the second vehicle looks nice as well. The Stygimoloch research set is awesome, I love the new pen and the viewing area with the glass window is a nice addition. The new dinosaur molds look great too. I hope the set is only $30. Can’t wait to see the rest, especially the mansion!!
