  1. Now I’m dreaming of a D2C Shuri’s lab/vibranium mine
  2. I didn’t even think of that. Hopefully it’s a June release, then. I’m happy that the Hulkbuster is the store exclusive but unhappy that I now cannot buy it. The D2C better have some great new figures (I need my Scarlet Witch!!). If it’s spoilery then I doubt any of us will guess the build before the movie. I’m still hoping for Avengers HQ but that’s not spoiler related at all (unless a battle with surprising characters occurs in IW).
  3. I’m afraid it won’t release until August, like the 4th CACW set. That’s worrying because August is already expensive for me given the return of the Wizarding World.
  4. But the Hulkbuster isn’t the D2C...
  5. I don’t even know why there’s a new ship design. In the leaked SDCC trailer they’re clearly in the normal Milano. I wonder if it gets destroyed yet again and they pull out this backup one.
  6. I know about the baby Blue, I was just referring to the baby dinosaurs in the regular sets. What UCS raptor??
  7. Disney doesn’t own Fox yet. In this case it definitely has to do with the nature of the film. It’s like with Suicide Squad- Lego didn’t make sets for the movie, but released comic book sets when the movie came out that had lots of characters from it (Killer Croc, Katana, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang). They could theoretically do the same with Deadpool if they wanted to.
  8. I would rather have a character like Scarlet Witch or Bucky in the polybag. I hope they’re in the 7th set. Is that set releasing in August?
  9. Maybe. I feel like the T. rex was always going to be a reuse since it’s the exact same one from the last movie, but it could explain things like Blue’s new coloring and why all the babies are the same color.
  10. Interesting comment from the designer of the new Great Hall set when asked why he used so many stickers: “Every printed part is the same as a colour change as far as production complexity goes and Harry Potter went over it's allotted number of changes and actually had to take some from Jurassic World!” I wonder what this meant for the JWFK line.
  11. Saw the review. Build looks even better than I thought and the interior space is great. I might modify the cockpit to remove the space bike feature but I don’t think I’ll modify the back now. I like the Gauntlet storage space as long as seating isn’t sacrificed for it.
  12. I like what they’re doing with the small students, but I hope the ones in the D2C are teenagers. Setting the castle around the time of OotP would work the best since we could get regular versions of all the main characters, Death Eaters and Voldemort would fit in perfectly, and we could maybe see an updated Umbridge.
  13. The Time Stone color bothers me since it’s more of a light trans green than regular or dark trans green. By the way, @agoodfella77 confirmed on Instagram that the Reality Stone is transparent.
  14. Yeah, someone mentioned that a day or two ago in an article about the Toy Fair I think. It’s a pretty cool idea and I’m excited to see some different combinations.
  15. 10 figures is not normal for a $100 licensed set- the Sanctum Sanctorum has 4 and a bigfig for that price, and sets like the Batman Movie Batcave and Web Warriors Bridge Battle only had 7. D2C stands for “Direct to Consumer”, meaning it’s a Lego set sold only in Shop@Home or physical Lego stores. They can be found online with major retailers like Target but would never be found in store.
  16. A new polybag of the ship from the Thanos set has been leaked! It isn’t called the Milano- the name of the polybag is just “The Guardians’ Ship”.
  17. Awesome! No more complaints, then. I don’t need the storage space so I’ll just add more seats but it’s nice that it fits 4 in the first place.
  18. When did Ernie show up? And wasn’t Hannah Abbott in earlier books? If they really want to give us a Ravenclaw they can just do Padma Patil in the CMF series. I agree with the comments about Fawkes and the Basilisk. I hate most brick built creatures and far prefer molded ones. The old Fawkes and Basilisk are a bit outdated and still decent enough to use today, but it would be nice to get new molded versions of them.
  19. The spikes have been around for a year as part of Nexo Knights I believe, and the shingle roof cones were released in January in a couple of Disney Princess sets. There is a new 1x1 tan slope on the Great Hall roof, though!
  20. Rotating torsos have been around for a while in Lego mechs. Both Samurai X mechs (normal and ghost version) have had rotating torsos, as well as Zane’s robot from the ghost Samurai Mech set. The original Power Armor Lex set had a rotating torso as well. I’m sure there are other examples but those are the ones I remember off the top of my head.
  21. $120 is much better. The back of the build is surprisingly well detailed and the inside looks nice. Still annoyed that the legs can’t move but I’ll figure out a solution.
  22. If we got more Black Panther sets I’d really want to see
  23. My thought exactly. One of my favorite characters! I wish we would’ve gotten a new mold for her panther gauntlets but we can’t have everything.
  24. Just2Good is one of the most trusted leakers around. I’ve never heard him say something is coming without it releasing at some point. If he says a rumor is true, then it’s definitely true.
  25. Just2Good put out a video discussing his thoughts on the new sets and he mentioned a rumored Jurassic Park D2C!!
