  1. My wallet can’t handle this. I was never expecting a second wave! Do you know how many sets we’re getting and when they release?
  2. There can’t be another retail set, can there? If there was, the dinosaur(s) from the set would be pictured on the back with the rest, wouldn’t they?
  3. I called my local Lego Store asking about the March 3-4 special offers, and I was told that it was most likely a gift with purchase. The woman I talked to said that Lego often keeps their cards close to the chest and the employees will only find out about the offer the day it starts. If I had to guess, I’m assuming we’ll see a character polybag (maybe Teen Groot but I hope not), some sales, and double points on select items.
  4. Oh, okay. So 6 retail sets then, one of which hasn’t been revealed or leaked, and two exclusives? Sounds pretty solid. I’m really glad they went all out with this wave.
  5. If the book description mentions Goodrich Gryffindor I’m sure that we’ll see him in some capacity. Making official figures in the CMF series would be great since they could come with their iconic items that are all Horcruxes or Horcrux killers, and Lego loves going all out on new molds for CMF series. However, I think that what @deskp mentioned is much more likely- they could all be stickered portraits in a hallway in the D2C, or maybe just Godric’s portrait on the wall in the Gryffindor common room.
  6. That would make sense, although it’s quite a large number of retailer exclusives. I think the only other theme and wave I’ve seen with this many exclusives at once is the Ninjago Possession wave, which had three exclusives (Chain Cycle Ambush for Walmart, Jay Walker One for Target, and City of Stiix for Toys R Us). I hope at least one of the exclusives includes a new dinosaur although my hopes aren’t high. This also means that we could be seeing a D2C Jurassic Park set!
  7. Does anyone know when will the promotions for March 3rd be announced?
  8. Tempting, but I think I’m going to buy them at the Lego Store. I’ve never bought a wave all at once before or used a large amount of VIP points and if I’m using VIP points to get the Hulkbuster I’ll just get everything there.
  9. Sets are up on Walmart’s website, apparently. I don’t know if they’re available to purchase/preorder, though.
  10. Yeah, I know, I just quoted you because we were both thinking of ways to change the Sanctum. I might also separate it, that’s not a bad idea.
  11. I would love to modify the Sanctum and create a full building, but I love the idea of the corner buildings and the playable interiors so I most likely won’t get around to it.
  12. Pictures were posted here a day or two ago.
  13. Just2Good mentioned a rumored Jurassic Park D2C. He’s a well informed person so if he heard a rumor about a JP D2C I am inclined to believe that it is true. New and exclusive molds in D2C sets: Kwik-E-Mart- Snake’s head Disney Castle- Tinkerbell hair Silent Mary- Salazar’s hair, ghost shark body Joker Manor- Nightwing armor, Nightwing helmet
  14. I’m just thrilled we’re getting a JP set at all, and especially one that covers all the bases. I hope we get some kind of new or rarer dinosaur like the Triceratops. I’d be perfectly happy with a set that costs $200 but only has 1300 pieces if it came with a sauropod mold.
  15. Harry Potter is the 3rd largest franchise worldwide. Jurassic Park is 14th. HP has had sets for far longer than JP as well. I did not say that Jurassic World made less than the HP movies, I said that the HP franchise as a whole is much bigger and therefore it makes sense why it is getting a bigger D2C set.
  16. Exactly- make it like the Hoth set but focus on only 3-4 main builds instead of 10. I really hope a set this size has a brachiosaurus mold but I know I’m dreaming. I do hope we get more than just raptors and a dilophosaurus though.
  17. That could be a great D2C- a $150 set recreating the most famous scenes from the movie.
  18. What would they even make for $500?? There’s no single structure big enough to warrant a $500 set unless you want the Lego Group to make an entire theme park for that kind of money. I’d be quite happy with a $200 set focusing on the Visitor Center/kitchen.
  19. ...the Harry Potter franchise is a much much larger one than the Jurassic Park franchise and had a successful Lego theme running for almost a decade...
  20. I never said anything about set numbers because I don’t pay attention to them and I don’t know what set number the D2C is associated with. I didn’t say “76106 could be a Jurassic Park D2C”, I said “the D2C thought to be for Infinity War could be for Jurassic Park”. It was just a thought I had.
  21. The “licensed IP” set is $500 and it’s heavily rumored/speculated to be the D2C Hogwarts. I can’t see JP getting a $500 set but I can definitely see the theme getting a $150-200 anniversary set.
  22. I just got the Daily Bugle Showdown, and I would be perfectly fine with Beetle’s wings being used for Wasp. Yes, there are only two and not four but they’re the best option without a new mold and they look amazing. I’d rather get a new helmet mold than a new wing mold to be perfectly honest.
  23. Looks like the reports of a $160/170 D2C for Infinity War were false. Could this be the Jurassic Park set instead?
  24. It’s a great set! It was actually announced with official images last July.
  25. It’s really weird how mixed up everything has been regarding the D2C and exclusive set. I’m very disappointed and the missing set number is really weird. Does this mean there’s no exclusive spoilery set coming in the summer?
