  1. Getting Yule Ball minifigures is going to be awesome!!! So glad to see that we’re finally going to get Fleur!
  2. Torso looks great. Not too worried about lack of leg printing since there are multiple existing legs that could work for the figure.
  3. There are tons of T. rex and raptor figures because Lego dinosaur themes are usually on shelves only every 3 years. So they need the most popular dinosaurs available when dinosaur sets are out on shelves for kids. Now that they’re not taking a 3 year gap, they can make new species.
  4. That’s ridiculous. Lego is a company that will try to save money wherever they can to increase their profit margin, so of course they cut corners by using the Indoraptor legs on the Baryonyx. I can tell you right now that my 5 year old cousin who loves these Jurassic sets doesn’t care AT ALL that there’s a sickle claw on the Baryonyx’s feet that shouldn’t be there. Sure, it’d be more accurate with a new mold, but the dinosaur looks amazing the way it is and I’d rather we get more new molds and species than get accurate feet for the Baryonyx. Lego is not “Lepin quality” just because they cut corners on occasion for things that don’t really matter.
  5. All of the minifigures in the Quinjet set are technically exclusive. Just because a figure can be made from pieces in other sets doesn’t mean it’s not exclusive to the set it comes in. Unmasked Cap is exclusive to the Helicarrier even though you can make him by using an AoU Cap body, Obi-Wan’s head, and that color of hair piece. So even though the Quinjet heroes can be made using old heads and hair on the white suit body, they’re still exclusive to the set because that’s the only official way to get those figures.
  6. I don’t think that’s the right figure. The leaked Quinjet pic makes it look like Rocket has gray shoulder pads, and the person who posted the image said it’s probably custom
  7. I don’t even think the helmet needs to be an opaque mold. Clouds swirl inside the fishbowl in the trailer, so a clear bowl with gray cloud printing on the inside or outside would look nice I think.
  8. Why does everyone assume he won’t get a movie set just because he’s inaccurate? Look at a bunch of superhero movie sets and you’ll see how inaccurate the figures are sometimes. Crossbones from Civil War was a weird mix of movie and comic styles, for example. I count Ares as a figure and he was totally inaccurate to the movie appearance. Glowing Black Panther was blue instead of purple. I’m sure this is from the movie but they just chose to make a more comic styled figure for some reason.
  9. The globe is the same piece as the Sandy helmet from Spongebob that is being discussed now. I think that piece works fine, honestly. A smaller fishbowl would be harder to do and this one looks pretty good. I don’t want them wasting a new mold on a slightly smaller bowl for Mysterio.
  10. Nice to hear about the Bricktober pack! I was hoping it would come out. I’ll find something to spend $75 on to get it.
  11. I would LOVE a D2C Lockwood Estate but I know it would never happen. I wouldn’t mind the Innovation Center (hopefully with a Brachiosaurus or Mosasaurus!!) and maybe some building facades around it to simulate Main Street. I can see that happening with these new park based sets. I’d also love an original Visitor Center, but I’m afraid a set like that wouldn’t have any new dinosaurs- just another T. rex and more raptors.
  12. That would be amazing, and now I’m getting my hopes up. I think if they’re included in this wave then Thanos will have all 6 in the biggest set.
  13. I don’t think it’s possible for the Dilo to be rubber when it has an opening jaw. Lower jaw pieces have to be hard plastic to click together with the upper jaw, rubber wouldn’t be able to hinge in the same way.
  14. Pretty nice polybag! I do think it would’ve been better to maybe put two or three team suit figures from the sets into bags like this (like Cap and War Machine). The repulsors look strange here, though. I miss the old studs and cylinders look.
  15. Wow! Weird choice for sets but the dinosaurs look AMAZING!!! The sized down Dilo is awesome although you really lose a lot of articulation. The Baryonyx is a great new mold and I love that the Triceratops is returning! The build in the Trike set is awesome too- I love getting more amusement park stuff from Jurassic World. The T-Rex mech is a bit strange but cool I guess. Weird choice for more sets but I'm not complaining about the new dinosaur molds and the park builds. I really hope the D2C is Jurassic Park based though, and not more of this.
  16. The D2C rumor is fake? That’s disappointing :(
  17. It’s been mentioned on Instagram. I find it odd but I REALLY hope it’s true. I’d love another Marvel D2C (that’s preferably from Infinity War or Endgame this time- the Hulkbuster was cool but I wish it had been IW focused). It’s kind of late to be hearing about it though.
  18. Harry Potter has a far bigger budget than Marvel. It’s unfair to compare Marvel minifigures to a theme like Harry Potter that made a gigantic return after 7 years of being off shelves. You might as well complain that we don’t have a 6000 piece Avengers Tower set and that there’s no Marvel minifigure series. Marvel figures can’t be compared to themes that Lego puts more effort into and pours more money into. They can be compared to themes like DC that they should be on par with.
  19. I feel like Rescue is being hidden from marketing similar to how Spider-Man was. Maybe she’ll be in a spoilery summer set with Valkyrie? I would LOVE that.
  20. Okay, the sets look good for the most part. Cap’s bike is the first oversized bike build I’ve disliked, but the army of Outriders looks awesome. I knew the QR suits being in polybags sounded really strange and I never really believed that rumor. I don’t get the hate for the suits. If that’s what’s in the movie why the hell are people acting like it’s Lego’s fault for making minifigures of them? And the whole “quality” argument is idiotic. Yes, the bad guys don’t have leg printing, but every QR suit has head to toe printing. That’s a lot more than most figures have had in the past few MCU waves. You’re completely entitled to not liking the QR suits, but then you should be blaming Marvel because that was what was in their concept art which is the only thing Lego has to work with. I think the iconic suits will come in the biggest set. I like the Quinjet a lot and I’m super excited for that set! I do think the high number of Outriders is kind of a waste, though. We still need Captain Marvel, the 6 Avengers in normal suits, War Machine, Rescue, Nebula, Thanos, and the 3 Iron Man suits. Plus Valkyrie would be great to get. I doubt they can fit all of those figures across 2 sets and now I’m really disappointed because it doesn’t look like we’ll be getting Rescue. I hope there’s a secret spoiler set during the summer that includes Rescue and Valkryie at the very least. I also really hope the Avengers Compound set takes a page out of Hogwarts Great Hall and includes 10 detailed figures with a good build but I doubt that’ll happen.
  21. Ant-Man’s new helmet looks good. I just noticed that the Endgame logo isn’t on the box, though. It’s just the purple Avengers logo with no subtitle. Is that how the sets will be released or do you guys think they’ll add the official logo with the Endgame subtitle to the box?
  22. I still think we’ll get normal variants for most if not all heroes. This set looks fricking amazing and kind of big for $35! I love the box art with the heroes on the side and the white design. The Outriders are interesting and I really can’t wait to see the rest of the sets. I’m so excited for the idea of an Avengers compound!!!
  23. No. Minidoll necks are standard rod sized, not the same thickness as minifigure heads. So a minifigure game could fit around the bat neck, but minifigure heads won’t fit on unless you used a 1x1 stud with open hole on the bottom of it.
  24. The couch mech feels a little overpriced, although I love the actual couch build since I never got the original double decker one, and Unikitty just looks gorgeous. The spa is amazing, I love the colors and crystalline detailing! Balthazar looks awesome, and I really love the new crystal vampire hairpieces. His bat form is a cool new mold and I like that they’re giving us two of his hairpieces in one set! The palace looks great from the outside, but I’m wondering if there’s any actual room to play, and the shrunken buildable figures are very disappointing.
