It’s not fair that the US gets every single June set in August while they release normally in Europe. Sure, we got the HP sets a month early last year, but Europe gets plenty of sets earlier, especially with Super Heroes summer sets. I think it’s ridiculous that the US gets no wide release sets in June this year.

Apparently the HP sets are August releases in the US, not June :(

It’s currently on Amazon for a little over $16, which I think is a pretty fair price. If you preorder it now they’ll charge you the lowest price possible when it ships.

Jurassic World 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion
GoldenNinja3000 replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
I’m assuming that the D2C will release alongside the general retail sets but I don’t know when those are coming out either. I thought it was June but the press release says “this fall”. I don’t think Lego often does multiple D2C sets in one month unless it’s one licensed set and a Creator Expert set. June is Stranger Things, August is DC, September is Disney, October will be Star Wars. So will the Jurassic D2C be a July release? -

There’s a store called “Brickify UK” that has it listed for GBP 15.79 ($20.68) but they’re based in Colorado, USA. That’s what I was looking at. But that does seem a bit sketchy. -

You can get the set that the Heartbreaker comes in for $20 US on BrickLink brand new and sealed, which is pretty good considering it was $13 at retail 6 years ago. -

Also, given that the Russo’s have said the spoiler ban lifts on Monday, is that when we can start talking about the movie and sets they could’ve made openly? Or will we be waiting longer to openly mention spoilers? -

I think it’s real. Emmett and Sharkira were both normal set reuses so the reused pieces make sense, and Spidey is highly detailed with the arm printing and dual molded legs. It looks like the normal suit though and not the black and red one, which is a shame. Ned and Maria both look good. I think Maria has a lighter brown hairpiece now since her hair is much lighter with highlights in Far From Home. I don’t think this is fake. -

This is awesome news! I hope it is actually the black and red suit because that would just be a perfect minifigure pack to round out the FFH line. The sets are all amazing, the only things I don’t like are the Happy Hogan and firefighter figures and the absence of the black and red suit and Maria Hill, but this pack would solve those issues. Hopefully we’ll also get one for Endgame. Do we know the release date? I’d assume it’s coming out June 1st or something like that. -

They should have made the Sanctuary II ship as a $120 set for either Infinity War or Endgame. Its presence isn’t a spoiler and it would check all of Lego’s boxes: a big vehicle that could have a substantial interior, a unique design, lots of play features, and minifigures to play out a battle with. I hope more Endgame sets are made down the line. -
I thought Hermione’s legs were just a printed brick too, but they kind of look like mid legs with a cloth dress piece attached. I hope that’s what they are. Hagrid’s Hut looks perfect, no complaints there. Knight Bus is okay but it just looks a little weird to me. I like the 2011 build better right now. That Horntail looks horrible, though. The wings are way too big for the body and the head doesn’t work at all. And why is it dark brown?? That’s much too dark of a color for it. I wish they had just made a fully molded dragon instead. The clocktower looks very good, though. I can see snowy decorations for the ball peeking out on the left side and the entire build just looks beautiful. Can’t wait to get it!

Understandable. I quite like Lego aircraft though and I get pretty much every single Marvel set so I’ll still be buying it, I just want to wait until it’s on sale. -

Sets are now up on Shop@Home. Avengers Tower and the Captain Marvel art print are free if you purchase over $75 worth of Marvel sets (in the US). I’d recommend buying the Hydro-Man and Molten Man sets, and getting a regular price Iron Man or Spider-Man keychain and pairing it with the Black Panther keychain on sale to get to $76. I’m hoping Target or Walmart will discount the Stark Jet very soon. -

I’m sure they will release tomorrow. The Endgame sets weren’t on Shop@Home until midnight on the 31st and didn’t even have pictures accompanying the listings until like two days later. -
That clocktower sounds AMAZING. So many rooms and all of the minifigures are Yule Ball exclusive variants!! Day one buy for sure. I’m really excited to see it. The other sets also sound great but I’m definitely most excited for the clocktower.

The Expecto Patronum set cannot possibly be $15. It must be $20. It has four figures and two large trees and a new animal mold! It’s amazing for $15 and still a good value for $20.

Brachiosaurus and Mosasaurus are very doable. The Brachiosaurus would work at the same size as Smaug if they were willing to make the new molds, and same for the Mosasaurus but make it roughly the same size as the T. rex. None of the dinosaurs are to scale anyway. The only thing holding Lego back from making these guys is that they’d require completely new sets of molds unlike species like the Baryonyx. -

I can’t believe we’re getting Ray Arnold too! Awesome! And getting that iconic Goldblum look in Lego is just incredible. I’m really excited for this set! I hope the kids get new faces and Lex uses the medium legs this time. -

Hammond and Nedry’s faces look perfect. I love the alternate Dilophosaurus venom spit face for Nedry, it’s really unique! I’m super happy that this confirms the D2C to be Jurassic Park based and I hope it’s the visitor center with maybe a new dinosaur!! -

I hope that we get sets based on the shows since they’re supposedly much more MCU than the ABC/Netflix shows. However, I’m not certain if Lego would make sets for smaller streaming-only shows. Clone Wars is a) part of one of the biggest brands on earth that’s a very successful product for Lego and b) it had a normal TV show first that got sets. Neither of those apply to the Disney+ shows and if the Scarlet Witch show is really a psychological thriller as those (probably unreliable) rumors suggest then I doubt Lego would make sets off of it. -

Jesus Christ, I cannot believe some idiots are bidding $10,300 for 5 Molten Man sets on eBay. That’s how you know people have too much money. That’s a $150 retail value. -

I love Madame Maxime! Hopefully she looks good next to Hagrid, I’m a bit worried since he has a specialized body and different arms. Is that a new tall sloping dress piece or is it just a taller slope brick? I’m hoping it’s a proper dress piece especially since it’s printed on both sides but it’s hard to tell.
