  1. I have always wanted to experience a glider flight. Recently I went up in a two-seater sailplane, a Grob G 103 Twin Astir belonging to the local gliding club. So to celebrate this I have built a LEGO version of it. It will go well with my Cessna. The grey wing pieces will be replaced with white when a Bricklink order arrives Enjoy
  2. Hot rodder: I was not speeding officer. Policeman: This is a ticket for no tail lights! Many years ago I built 2 hot rods from the American Graffitti movie. A Ford Coupe and 55 Chevy I always thought that they were too large for minifig scale so after seeing Ralphs fantastic hotrod I made a similar one to his. My one is 4 wide and does not using any tricky build apart from the front mudguards which are 5 wide. Alternate engine Front mudguards are 5 wide Enjoy
  3. Dont forget that LEGO produced a toilet in the Tower Crane set 7905. You can download the pdf file to see how it was built.
  4. These were built over 10 years ago. Used a Belville pink basket as cistern tank.
  5. Instructions here
  6. Gelo is a great Bricklnk store. Have completed two $80 orders in last few weeks and currently have a $50 order being processed. Highly recommend Helen and her Bricklink store.
  7. Mine does too Last photo shows one open and the other one closed
  8. Air Ambulance made from parts of 3222 Helicopter and Limousine and 3181 Passenger Plane. Stickers from 7902 Doctors Car. Doors on both sides can be removed and attached to side to simulate a sliding door. Flat surface inside for a stretcher. Seating for pilot and doctor.
  9. Yes the 6 x 1 tile fits between a groove in the 1 x 2 grill above the wheel and a 1 x 2 plate under the wing. It puts slight pressure on the wing as seen by the bow in the wing. Look at photo below
  10. Great sailboat. As well as a huge LEGO collection I also have a small sail boat. The design is called a Firebug. 2400mm long by 1200mm wide or 8 feet by 4 feet for USA members I think I will have to build a MOC of it now.
  11. MOC update. Falcon GL now a pace car with orange lightbar. Stickers from 8121 Tiny Turbos Track Marshal
  12. It uses parts from 3178. It is a similar size. Wingspan is 4 studs wider but plane length is 4 studs shorter. It was a Cirrus SR-20 which has a low wing. Still sad news.
  13. I drive past this house all the time. It has a broken down truck, car and plane in the front yard. It is so unusual to find a plane in a front yard instead of at the airport. It inspired me to build my first ever plane MOC. Enjoy
  14. Toyworld catalogue going out 12th June with them at $4.99 and LEGO NZ now have RRP of $4.99 too.
  15. MOC update. Bricklink parts arrived so I have made it more orange with new mudguards, inverted 1 x 6's etc. Also replaced the dark grey chassis with orange. Moved white stripe up. Enjoy
  16. Just been into The Warehouse. 20% off LEGO today and tomorrow only
  17. I agree, a great model and photo. What are your photo secrets? My photos need improving.
  18. Thanks. On my layout all large vehicles are left hand drive to fit in with LEGO produced trucks. Otherwise I would have to convert all of LEGO's ones Stickers wil come one day.
  19. I have decided to go with 4 wide cars and 6 wide trucks/buses to standardise my layout. It also makes them match LEGO's cars and trucks. All my 6 wide cars and 6 wide pick ups have been destroyed.
  20. Sssssshhhhh!!!! I know but i love the shape and colour. BTW I'm a Ford fan ( owned 3) not a Holden fan (owned 0)
  21. Tried tires on the back but the LEGO ones stick out too far because they are so wide
  22. Just paper tissues from a tissue box
  23. Toyota RAV4. Toyota Landcruiser. Getting a tow. Enjoy
  24. Its to hide the ugly grooves and holes that LEGO put in the end of the cylinders
