  1. Generate instruction within LDD and export it to HTML, the first or last page will contain a partslist.
  2. The two IR's are for the adjustable mirrors.
  3. As of today I experience the same problems as Blackbird, installed the app last month and now its not working anymore.
  4. Delete the software and reinstall it. This solved the same problem for me after upgrading the app to a newer version.
  5. Wat IOS device are you using?
  6. Lego pneumatics aren't sufficient unless you double them and then it becomes bulky and ugly. If you want to use pneumatics i'd recommend some industrial types from Parker or Univer.
  7. Way better, especially if you move the bottom LA one stud so it can fold down all the way.
  8. i'm with Alasdair, the truck looks great(both design and technics) but the crane is not on par with the truck.
  9. Dafgek is from the Netherlands, that country who's only car manufacturer was bought by Volvo. You remember those marvelous 340's? That's originally a DAF with Volvo badge. Although external feautures like bodywork are debatable I think Dafgek can't find anything negative abouts Volvo's automatic gearbox. Nothing changes gears so smooth as the Volvo trucks.
  10. Real cranes extend the boom in different ways. In the old days there was a single hydraulic cylinder that extended the first section, additional section where extended by steel wires and pulleys, just like the Lego cranes. The downside to this is that every section has to have the same strength and thus somewhat the same weight if you want to lift something at 20% boom-length. Modern cranes don’t work like this. They have a very strong base section and use weaker/thinner/lighter steel for the additional sections. If you want to lift something heavy at 20% boom-length it’s better to fully extend the first section and leave sections 3,4,5,6 retracted. To achieve this there is a single hydraulic cylinder inside the boom which extends all sections. Once a single section is extended it is locked with pins, then the cylinder travels inside the boom to the next section and extends it. Once that section is locked in place the cylinder goes to the next section. Rinse and repeat… The successful creation of this concept is quite difficult. Old cranes fully depend on cables with a single cylinder whereas new cranes have fully independent sections with a single walking cylinder. Everything in between is a ‘hybrid’ where the top one or two sections are linked together by wire and pulleys while the bottom sections are independently extendable.
