  1. True, I've got many, many toothed half bushes with broken teeth
  2. Very clever! I'm gonna steal this
  3. Very nice MOC once again! Your productivity amazes me.. how much time did this one need, 1 hour? Love the clever use of the dual antennae. No LXF file this time though? Your cat also seems to approve of it By the way, it's spelled 'swash plate'.
  4. is completely in love with LEGO again ;-)

  5. Looks like another must-build for me Keep up the good work! You should add your designs to Basebrick
  6. Haha, first question that popped into my mind as well
  7. I know, Marco told me. Looking forward to seeing your sets appear there
  8. Yes, it's part of one of the best excavator MOCs I've seen.
  9. Just built the B-model, it's nice as well. 8265 is really an excellent set
  10. I've built both the A and B models this week. I have to say I'm quite disappointed with the A model, it looks OK but the functionality is quite poor. Hoisting or moving the beam requires a lot of knob turning, and gets boring quickly. A motor is really required here.. The outriggers are also extremely flimsy, and there are some odd design choices in both the chassis and the superstructure. The boom also only has 2 sections, and doesn't use any imaginative techniques. And no driving axle or engine? Boo! I was pleasantly surprised by the B model (a gantry crane) though, which looks great and is also fun to build. It can't really lift heavy loads due to lack of counterweight (you can add some yourself though), but it's altogether a much better model. If you buy the 8053, do it for the parts or the B model. Grades: A-model: 6/10 B-model: 8/10
  11. I know, but I want to make an exact parts list.. so if there are parts from the old 8043 inventory that he didn't use, I have to subtract these Oh well, I'll find out myself when I receive my own 8043 sets. Don't want to drive Jurgen nuts P.S.: you really like posting pictures, don't you
  12. Oof... sounds like a lot of effort. Nevertheless, it's much appreciated Are you OK with me adding the inventory to Basebrick (with full credit to you, ofcourse)? Or, if you are registered there, you can do it yourself Edit: I noticed that there's not a lot of parts in there, I guess these are the extra parts required besides the ones from the original 8043 set? Or are there are also parts from the 8043 set that are not used? I ask this because I'd like to make a full parts list
  13. Another nice little MOC! By the rate you're pumping out new MOCs LEGO won't have to bother designing new sets anymore, they can just copy yours
  14. You need LEGO Digital Designer
  15. Excellent MOC, looks just like the real thing I noticed those as well, some clone brand?
  16. Ah, great. I was already thinking of buying some of those small sets for the parts, and now I have another reason
  17. Nice little backhoe Shame I don't have that small rear bucket, or I'd build it immediately
  18. That folding roof is brilliantly executed Nice MOC.
  19. The LTM 1100-4.2 to be exact Looks good so far indeed, can't wait to see the finished build. Are you also planning on fitting it with a seven section boom, just like the real deal?
  20. 's an animation to illustrate the principle.
  21. It's a torsion bar suspension, with the black axles acting as torsion bars. Each 'wheel' can move up and down by twisting (hence 'torsion' bar) one end of the black axle, using the dark bley liftarm as lever. The other end of the black axle is immobilized using the black liftarms. Look here for more information
  22. I've also made my choice.. but it wasn't easy! Lots of great MOCs there! And yes, nice to see so many Eurobricks builders represented
  23. Blakbird really is the king of renders Love the looks of the 8421, but sadly it's insanely expensive (at least € 375). Will probably build it one day when I have enough parts, perhaps upgrading it to a four section boom and fully motorizing it with PF.
