Could it be the the same app we already have? Most game apps are known to change icons with large updates so the app icon changing from the Mask of Creation to the Mask of Control isn't entirely out of question. Certainly would make more sense to update the existing app than create a new one.

I have a feeling that this story will take place around the same time that the Toa are in the City of the Mask Makers and from the looks of it, it seems to focus on the Protectors fighting the remaining Skull Spiders which is something i'd very much like. :)

So how good is the creature's head attachement to the Toa's mask? Do they move seperately or are they connected to move as one?

So the sets are released officially within a month. How long do you guys think it will take for them to show up in stores? Last year some showed up 2 weeks before the official release, I wonder if it will be the same for this year.

The new brainstalk/eye piece looks like it can allow other parts to clip on to it. I'm betting underneath the creature's heads there is something that allows them to clip on to the brainstalk and have it's head connected to the Toa as well.

The skull masks don't seem to have any powers. Umarak's mask might have powers considering it has a transparant green color to it. This has so far only been seen in Toa and Protector masks all of which have elemental powers to some extent.

The silver creature heads on golden Toa masks look better than I expected, they look like helmets and look really good actually. Also, can we all agree that Gali's gold/trans blue mask is super sexy?

The runes on the masks and creature heads are amazing. So detailed, I love it. Considering i'm more of a collector than a moc'ist, this makes me very happy. :D

That actually makes a lot of sense. I can see it happening that they explain the masks and weapons are made from the crystals which could be described as a natural resource of the island with strong elemental connections or something.

I just noticed that the newest leaks have a "confidential" stamp on them rather than a "preliminary" stamp. So to me it seems the newest leaks might actually be final versions of the sets. Edit: nvm, i'm dumb. All leaks have a "confidential" stamp on them. Could have sworn older leaks had a "prelim" stamp on them(?).

Yep although it still has the prelim stamp on top of it. Honestly, they all look amazing, I love them. The Mask of Control is actually the version we say in the first leak of that poster with a United Tahu and i'm not sure if I like this version better or the prelim one.

I really like Nidhiki, Krekka and the Nivawk. These 3 are my only titans unless Muaka and Kane-Ra count as titans. I also still want the Tahtorak but i'm not sure if it's classified as a titan. EDIT: And of course 2003 Makuta as well. Can't forget him. And only just realised this thread is almost 5 years old.

Looking at the box art, it seems there won't be any shadow traps in the Toa sets. Just the Toa and their golden masks and the creature sets come with the shadow traps. I don't mind it that much but it takes away from the "Battle in a box" concept from the 2015 Toa and Protectors.

Well, I think it's about time they officially show us the new sets. January is already pretty close and about every other line has already had their 2016 sets revealed.

Shadow traps being evolved skull spiders is an idea I had as well but having seem them, i'm pretty sure the shadow traps are robots rather than a organic being like a skull spider.

Hey, wasn't sure if this is the right section to post this so a mod can move this if it's necessary. Anyway, is it known when stores generally get the catalogues for the next year? 2016 is pretty near but I haven't seen the 2016 catalogue anywhere yet. Or do they usually arrive closer to the next year? Thanks in advance. :)
