Umarak's video is awesome and did I see Skull Warriors as well? Anyway, TJtO looks better with every video I see of it. :D

I'm suprised at how good the sword pieces look on Lava Beast compared to the prelims where they looked super awkward. Also, is that a trans green head piece on the beasts? Looks like the upper half of the head connects like a regular mask while the lower jaw connects somewhere to the upper head.

I'm pretty sure they are talking about G1 which arguably had a pretty confusing storyline for smaller children.

Interesting to see Umarak using Ketar for his Unity form and using it to get to the Mask Of Control. Also, is Umarak betraying Makuta there by putting the MoC on or is Makuta forcing him? Also slight tease for Umarak The Destroyer is pretty cool.

The Mask Of Control is referred as "The Golden Mask Of Control" in the commercial. But I agree on the hunter, it would have been if they called him Umarak.

The new commercial is now in english and extended. http://www.lego.com/...ead673a0ab2098a It's still the same narrator. Somehow this makes me happy even though it's super generic.

There is a new Bionicle app available. Can't link it at the moment but thus far it's only available on the Google Playstore. IOS probably get's it later today or something. TTV also has a video on it with a direct link to the app. It's called "Bionicle: Mask of Control" and is a beat-em-up fighter game from the looks of it. Looks better than the first app we got.

Seems like Bionicle is also not as popular in The Netherlands. Last year we had the sets in Januari and August but according to the dutch Lego catalogue, we're supposed to get them in March now. WTF?! Why not just Januari like most other countries? We're right next to Germany where Lego is the most popular, so why put the Netherlands in a disadvantage? Just seems wrong to me, the fact that Poland isn't getting the 2016 sets at all is a disgrace really.

The boxart is pretty interesting. You can see the most details on the box of Storm Beast. In the background you can see a mountain shooting a laser in the sky, the sky itself is all green and there is slime everywhere. Looks like Umarak has somehow managed to unleash the apocalypse on Okoto which means the stakes are that much higher compared to last year's story.

I live in the Netherlands which makes it strange considering we are next to Germany where Lego is pretty popular and in earlier years we always had the sets on time. But I have been in contact with various toystores around the country and some say they are releasing 2016 sets this weekend so there is that. :p

Yeah I noticed this as well. Mask Maker vs Skull Grinder is €32,99 for some reason among other slight price raises. Did they give you an explanation for that besides offering a free set?

I sent a few emails to the toystores in my country to ask why the heck they still don't have any 2016 sets including Bionicle. It's weird, last year at this time, all of the toystores in my area had 2015 sets but now they don't? And I got pretty tired of driving up to these stores every few days to check on them so a email is better I think. Let's hope they have them quick.

So a commercial for the 2016 winter wave has been released. It's really cool in my opinion but it's not in english so i've no idea what the narrator is saying. :/

The Labyrinth of Control reminds me of the Apeture Science Facility from Portal in that picture. :P And I like how the Creatures make the Toa greater in combat but don't give them actual new powers. They give them courage and wisdom and I like that. If Umarak is supposed to be the exact opposite of the peaceful Creatures as the new info implies then Umarak is going to be a beast!

Tried to find the 2016 sets in toy stores around my city but found none. Strange since at this time last year, they had the 2015 sets already. What I also found strange is that one store had a Nexo Knights display but no sets on the shelf. The only thing I can think of is that I just came a few days to early before they stocked the shelfs with the new sets. I'll try again next week and will have more luck hopefully.

That sounds really cool. I didn't pick up Island of the Lost Masks because it followed the animations so closely but I will get this one and the graphic novel.

I can somewhat confirm this. I spotted a few 2016 sets in a Barnes & Noble in Miami(Galli, Terak, Tahu, Kopaka/Melum Unity). I couldn't buy them though since i'm there for vacation and they wouldn't fit in the suitcase. I tried the Miami Lego Store as well since I found sets before they are supposed to be released in official Lego stores before but no luck there.

Really great set, can't wait to pick him up. :) Also, if I may ask VBBN, in your opinion, which creature do you think is better? Melum or Terak? Since they are so alike and all.
