    Really nice build! I like how you made it even more about Zane by adding Falcon. I could definitely see Ninjago going down the road of hotrods! Although, I somehow feel that a hotrod would better with Jay than any other ninja for some reason.

    I agree that it draws inspiration from the era, but it is not necessarily based in that era. There are many examples of Steampunk/Dieselpunk that is set in the distant past/future. Also, Mad Max is one of the examples cited in: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dieselpunk

    Nice catch! Hopefully we get new molds for these weapons - but I highly doubt it. I rewatched the trailer and noticed that Lloyd's weapon also has an inscription. Also, Destiny's Bounty seems to have gone through a redesign. To me, it looks like a mix between the TV show and the Movie one.

    I have to admit, I'm really excited about these! They're moving away from the more "traditional" Ninjago colors and into somewhat darker tones. The sets truly seem to be inspired by Asia-styled dieselpunk! As for Ninjago City Docks... It seems to good to be true :D I really hope they do make an extension for Ninjago City - easily the best set I own!

    Thank you! : ) Thanks : ) I'm not sure whether it was intentional or it was simply because the deer happened to be there and could only walk down the "safe" path, but it always ran away in the right direction and stopped just before it would disappear into the mist. : ) Thank you! Indeed, the game is something else, can't wait what will they do in the expansion! : )

    Hi all : ) For a few months now, my LUG's been working on a new collaborative build - The Silly House. In essence, it's a set of (very lax) rules that allows all members (and even non-members!) to participate in an exhibition. The best thing about it is that it can always look fresh and new - simply by shuffling it's parts and creating a new configuration. Here is one such configuration, as an example: One of these rooms - The Lost Woods, was built by me and I would like to present it to you today. It depicts my favorite moment in Legend of Zelda - Breath of The Wild, the deer guiding you through Lost Woods, all the way to the Master Sword. I have to admit, I had a lot of fun building it, especially the deer, of which I am very proud of. As always, any criticism, comments and suggestions are welcome!

    A bit of interesting news - you can watch a special recap "season" on the Cartoon Network app right now! (provided you live in the US or know how to use a VPN) There are 10 episodes in total, and each covers a specific topic. The episodes are edited really well, and are quite fun to watch. There is additional content as well, which kind of messes with the current continuity introducing some new stuff and ideas.     I think I can safely link this here, since the images are official: It has a really interesting play feature - apparently the roof turns into eyes and the whole temple makes a creep Garmadon-like face :D Garmadon also seems to be back - or at least something that looks like him.     It doesn't appear to be Fusaka either. (Ninjagonese before Ninjago Movie) The upper part resembles Japanese hiragana, and it kinda reads as: たろくん - Tarokun - small child named Taro To me, the lower part looks like numbers: 62323

    Some news regarding home release - LEGO Ninjago Movie will be available as a Digital HD download starting from December 12th, while the physical forms (DVD, Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray and 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray) will be available starting from December 19th. No rewards announced yet :/

    This was - kind of - addressed by Tommy Andreasen, the co-creator of Ninjago: Cole's scar is not actually a scar, but rather a side effect of going through the Rift of Return (and a rift in itself). I guess that, at some point, Yang and/or Cole manage to close it.

    Don't really think it's happening. However, there are several minifigures that I'd like to see in one form or another: Young Wu – would probably never be included in any set. First Spinjitzu Master – perfect opportunity to get the Mega Weapon mold. Missing Elemental Masters – finally a complete collection. Gravis Bolobo Jacob Pevsner Chamille Cyrus Borg – we only got Overborg and the line would include a wheelchair. Captain Soto (with Teapot of Tyrahn) – everybody likes pirates and I want the teapot! No-Eyed Pete – would add some comedy to the line. Nya/Dilara – great reusability for other LEGO lines. Lou (Cole’s Father) – would be nice to get all the parents eventually. Some of the Ninja in Steep(er) Wisdom work clothes – these just look awesome. Kai Lloyd Some of the Ninja in dance clothes – need I say anything more? Zane Jay Some of the Ninja in Casual Clothes – any will do. Khanjikhan – perfect candidate for additional torso (and arms). Zane with Falcon – would be great to get a mold for Falcon. Dr. Julien (Zane’s father) – same as Lou. Seliel (aka Phantom Ninja) – will most likely never be in a set and is a cool character.
