  1. For Sandy, your posts have been really useful, as some of the dress designs (both the lower halves and the matching tops) are not yet found in LEGO Digital Designer (LDD) (sometimes, you can only find half of the designs!), so I can use your posts to help encourage these designs to be featured in the programme! After a bit of research today, below is a list of new LEGO minifigures with dress parts from the Collectable LEGO Minifigure Series starting from Series 8 (up to Series 13, latest today). Series 8: Alien Villainess (in fact, her dress is a colour variation of Narcissa Malfoy's dress). Series 9: Forest Maiden, Fortune Teller, Hollywood Starlet, Mermaid. Series 10: Medusa (a mythical Gorgon according to the descriptions). THE LEGO® MOVIE™ Series: Calamity Drone, Marsha Queen of the Mermaids, Wild West Wyldstyle. Series 12: Fairytale Princess, Wizard (another rare male character in a dress!). Series 13: Evil Wizard (yet another rare male character in a dress!). I also wonder if you will count the Genie (Series 6) and the Genie Girl (Series 12), as their lower halves seem to be similar to the parts found on the different mermaids, although the Genie's lower half is just plain. And here are a few recent dresses fatured in other sets. The Princess in LEGO Juniors Set 10688 The Princess Play Castle. The Princess in LEGO Castle Set 70403 Dragon Mountain. As mentioned in a poat above, there is a new green princess in Set 10223 Kingdoms Joust, and the queen in that set has a different face but in the same dress as the Kingdoms queen from the 7952 Kingdoms Advent Calendar. Please add to the list as I haven't been through all of the different LEGO themes yet!
  2. Here are two decos of the Mini Upper Part I would like to have in LDD. I tried to find them in LDD Extended recently and apparantly both of them are not yet present. First, the Chef's uniform found in Set 8398 BBQ Stand (Link to brick: http://brickset.com/parts/4275540). Second, I tried to find a matching top part for one of the Roof Tile 2x2x2/65 DEG. (Part 3678), and eventually, this page revealed to me that it was part of the Market woman's black and dark green dress from the Fantasy Era set 10193 Medieval Market Village. This time, the lower half of the dress is found in LDD (in both regular and extended mode), but I struggled to find the top half (you know how small the images of all the designs are!), which is in fact used in six different sets (Link to brick: http://brickset.com/parts/4541064). I'm now reproducing a building and some of the people working there in LDD, and someone asked me to dress her minifigure version in the lower half of that dress, so I either need the upper half or I need to use another design! For the Chef's uniform, I used something similar, but seeing the original one would be nice. If these two decos are in fact already present in LDD, can someone please tell me their locations in the list of designs? Thank you for everyone's attention!
  3. Also, any updates about the printing of bricks? Here's a final summary as I've posted different contents on this issues a few times already and I've found more information recently. Please add to the list as I might have missed some out! Bricks missing printing: most of the animals, Mini Teddy Bear (Part 98382), Electric Guitar Shaft (Part 11640), some of the head designs. Bricks which have both a printed and plain version (in reality most of them shouldn't have a plain version): Medium Nought Kitten (Part 6251), Chihuahua Dog (Part 12888), Small Ape (Part 95327), Mini Electric Guitar (Part 93564), some of the head designs such as Robot Head 2 (Part 98384), some of the head pieces, Base Plates With Roads (Straight, Curved, T-crossing, Crossing), Mini Brush (Part 93552, the tip of the brush), Mini Palette (Part 93551), Maraca W/Shaft Ø3,2 (Part 90508), Pom Poms (Part 87997), Ghettoblaster (Part 93221), Mini Figure Snow Board (Part 93218), Surf Board W, Knob (Part 90397), Mini Shield (Part 98367), Mini Bagpipe W. Ø3.2 Shaft (Part 99252), Mini Steak/W Ø3,2 Shaft (Part 98732). Bricks in the wrong colour or have missing colours: Hedgehog (Part 98389, missing printing also), Electric Guitar Shaft (Part 11640, missing printing as well and should be in red also as seen in the Rock Star Minifigure), Pom Poms (Part 87997, should be in red and white also as seen in the Red Cheerleader Minifigure). Some Bricks can have printing added to them in LDD Extended, such as the Cats (Part 13786) and the Kittens (Part 6251), but they are still lacking certain printing. For example, the Cats can have eyes and nose added, but the patch beneath their heads and the stripes on the two sides of the Dark Orange Cat (as seen in the Mrs Scratchen-Post Minifigure) still can't be added to the Cats. As I said before, all parts with printing in reality should look exactly the same in the Regular Mode of LDD and no plain version of these parts should exist unless they have one in reality. If a part has more than one design (with printing included) in reality, LEGO should simply inset one copy of each design in the Regular Mode of LDD. EDIT: Two new errors: First, three bricks have a colour included in their names, but they are not necessarily provided in those colours in the Regular Mode Of LDD. The first one is Ball Ø 52 mm, Charcoal grey (Part 23065), which is provided in Dark Stone Grey, Medium Stone Gery, Bright Red, Bright Yellow and Bright Blue. Next is the Gold Ingot (Part 99563), which is provided in Medium Stone Grey and Silver Metallic. Finally, the Antique Key, Gold (Part 62808) is provided in Dark Stone Gery. These bricks should be clarified as their names are quite confusing at the moment. Next, some Bricks have a slightly incorrect name. The most obvious example are the four wigs made especially for the Harry Potter Theme, including Harry Potters Wig (Part 40233), Hagrids Wig (Part 40238), Dumbledores Wig (Part 40239) and Rons Wig (Part 40240). All the names of these wigs should have an 's after the name of each character, instead of just an s. If we look at the Boy's Wig, Horse's Tail (Part 95226), we can see that LEGO has included this before, so they should do the same for the four wigs mentioned above.
  4. I just found a new error. Last time I mentioned that one of the designs of the Mini Head (Part 3626) is duplicated (Image). Recently, I discovered that the back of another design of the Mini Head looked really weird. As shown in the image here, the colours went all wrong at the back of the Mini Head, and the corresponding design of the Mini Head is highlighted in the Brick Palette by the red square.
  5. Any updates on the Colour Palettes "Bug" yet? The main issue exists in LDD extended, where both Colour Palettes in the Colour Filter of the Brick Palette and in the Paint Tool requires a scrolling feature so that we can access all the colours. The temporary solution now is to use the top part of the list of Colours via the Colour Palette in the Paint Tool and use the Colour Filter for the rest of the Colours.
  6. Thanks for the tip! I'll try it out later. Totally agree with that!
  7. If you refer to my post #733 earlier above, I have mentioned this issue together with a few related issues. Below is a recap.Certain Bricks in LDD cannot be closed properly. The Book (Part 33009) used to be opened but in the latest version it was closed, occupying less space and looking better. However, both the Bag (Part 6203) and the Suitcase With Film Hinge (Part 33007) has their covers unclosed. Both of these parts should give us an option of keeping their covers opened or closed, as like the Book, that can make these Bricks occupy less space and look better. For the Laptop (Part 62698), we should also be able to choose whether to have it folded up or remain opened, but if it was folded up by default, then we won't know it's a Laptop. The simple solution to this is to allow us to use the "Hinge Tool" to move the covers and parts of the Laptop. That way we can even have the Covers half-closed or the Laptop monitor placed upright/in a slanting position just like in reality. For the Book, keeping it closed is fine. If we look at the Computer Programmer Minifigure (Picture can be found on LEGO's website), he is able to hold the closed Laptop in his hand, so that should also be made possible after modifying the Laptop. By the way, I just bought and received a Black Laptop from LEGO's Website. After looking at the real thing, I can say that making it foldable and closable in LDD is really important.
  8. Things have gone really well, as all my Bricks have arrived. However, I would like to give a friendly reminder to everyone. Even if you try your best to get hold of just the five AppBrick Gadgets, there is still one thing which will restrict you. Currently, AppBrick Gadgets are only supported on Tablets! So you still need a Tablet in order to play with all the functions of the Second Ultra Agents App! If you download the App on a Smartphone, you'll end up with an Ultra Agents Comic Book App, where even the game is unplayable!
  9. Totally agree with that! Actually Part 3680 is also very useful on its own. I saw someone on YouTube doing demos for some LEGO Furniture, and he/she used Part 3680 to represent a CD Tray, which is very identical to the real thing! Therefore, LEGO should make this possible, thank you.
  10. I mentioned the zip problem partly because my Laptop was not set to show any File Extensions at that time, and now I have fixed that. Also, I tried to open my original LDD File directly by using Notepad without unzipping it, and the contents of the text file appeared as useless characters, so I had to unzip it for the text to make sense. And it seems that my Laptop is not powerful enough even to open the modified file, so I will can the project now and try again on my old Desktop Computer when I return home.
  11. I just found one more error related to the printing of parts. Like I said in my earlier post, some parts are missing printing, or have a version with printing and another version without printing. Recently, I found two more parts with the same errors. In the Regular Mode of LDD, the Mini Electric Guitar (Part 93564) is available both with and without printing for both the White and Black versions, while the Electric Guitar Shaft (Part 11640) is simply missing printing, where no printing can be added to it in LDD Extended, and I think it should also be in Bright Red as the Rock Star Minifigure (Picture can be found on LEGO's Website) has a Bright Red Electric Guitar Shaft with printing. Once again, the correct thing to do is to provide printing for these parts by default and no blank version should exist. And here are some more information on the Pie Ø15.83 (Part 93568). For the Medium Nought Pie Ø15.83 (both the Pie and the Topping are in Medium Nought), you can paint both the Pie and the Topping, but for the Pie Ø15.83 with a White Topping, you can only paint the Pie, but not the Topping. Here is the correct thing to do. In reality, the Pie Ø15.83 is currently in two colours: a Pie Ø15.83 with a White Topping is used by the Small Clown Minifigure (Picture can be found on LEGO's Website) while a Pie Ø15.83 with a Yellow Topping is used by the Krusty the Clown Minifigure (Picture can be found on LEGO's Website). I'm not sure what is the exact colour of the second Pie Ø15.83 though, so this needs further confirmation. Therefore, in the Regular Mode of LDD, the Pie Ø15.83 should be provided in their actual two colours, and at the same time, both the Pie and the Topping should be able to be painted in LDD Extended for the two colours. LEGO can simply take the the Medium Nought Pie Ø15.83 (both the Pie and the Topping are in Medium Nought) and modify the colours of it to produce the Pie Ø15.83 in the two colours, while the current Pie Ø15.83 with a White Topping should be deleted as the Topping can't be painted. As there is no Pie Ø15.83 with a Medium Nought Topping in Reality, that colour of the Pie Ø15.83 should not exist after the modifications. Edit: As I mentioned before the Cats (Part 13786) could have their facial expressions (the eyes and mouth to be exact) added to them in LDD Extended, but in reality both the Medium Stone Grey and the Dark Orange Cat have a White Patch on their front legs just beneath their heads, and the Dark Orange Cat in reality has black stripes on its body on the sides used with the Mrs. Scratchen-Post Minifigure (Picture can be found on LEGO's Website). As these two printing are currently left out, when LEGO fixes the printing errors of the animals, they'll have to pay attention to parts which have included facial expressions/printing somehow but have accidentally left bits of it out. To sum up my recent posts, all parts with printing in reality should look exactly the same in the Regular Mode of LDD and no plain version of these parts should exist unless they have one in reality. If a part has more than one design (with printing included) in reality, LEGO should simply inset one copy of each design in LDD. Thank you for everyone's attention.
  12. Thank you for everyone's contribution. I have decided to buy all of the Bricks from the LEGO Website, where all of the Bricks I needed are currently available. The only extra thing to note is that unless you spend more that GDP 50.00 (check for yourself the amount for your currency), you have to include shipping fees. Mine is GDP 3.95 for the Bricks bought with the Pick A Brick Service, and for the special Bricks GDP 2.00 is already added to the bill. In my purchase, I decided to include Seven AppBricks. After looking at the five sets more carefully, two of them use four AppBricks each, one of them uses three AppBricks and the other two use two AppBricks each. Therefore, four AppBricks will be used for the two sets with four AppBricks each, while the other three AppBricks will be used for the remaining three sets. As you need to take apart the AppBricks to rebuild if you don't have 15 and having only four means lots of rebuilding, having seven AppBricks is a suitable number for me. I also took the opportunity to buy two other Bricks which I've always wanted. The total price of my order was about GDP 16. When the three future sets are out, I will do the same thing, but since I would then be owning Seven AppBricks, I will check how many AppBricks are needed in the new sets before I decide if I need to buy any more.
  13. I tried to find the AppBrick on Bricklink, but failed to do so, therefore I went back to LEGO's (UK) Website to do a bit of research. The results are some pricing information I got for everyone's reference. I assume that you want to purchase all of the original Bricks used for the five AppBrick Gadgets in the five sets found in the second wave of Ultra Agents and build them in their original form (but it's not possible to recreate them exactly, as the AppBrick Gadget of Set 70167 Invizable Gold Getaway requires a Sticker shown here, where it is the rectangular one in the lower middle edge with two circles on it; but you can always print out the image in the right size and cut out the sticker to stick it on). Some of the more common Bricks can be purchased via the "Pick A Brick" service, while other special/unique Bricks can be purchased via the Bricks And Pieces Service. I might do the same very soon as long as I have enough money. After checking all of the required Bricks in the above two pages, here are the total prices of the Bricks in British Pounds (The actual list of required Bricks will be shown later below, but the colour of the Bricks are not included, and if you see a hyphen before the Brick ID, it is a special/unique Brick). 70166 Spyclops Infiltration: GBP 1.77. 70167 Invizable Gold Getaway: GBP 1.76. 71068 Drillex Diamond Job: GBP 3.58. 70169 Agent Stealth Patrol: GBP 4.62. 70170 UltraCopter vs. AntiMatter: GBP 4.94. That gives you a grand total of GDP 16.67. However, you actually only need maximum four AppBricks, so if you only purchase four AppBricks instead of 15, your new grand total will be GDP 9.85. I hope that this information has helped all of you who simply want to own the AppBrick Gadgets and play fully with the Second Ultra Agents App like me. Here is the actual list of required Bricks and their prices in British Pounds. If more than one of a certain Brick is required, its price has already been multiplied. 70166 Spyclops Infiltration 3005749 x1 Round Plate 1x1 GBP 0.06 4210700 x1 Brick 1x1 With 4 Knobs GBP 0.23 -6103410 x1 Spider GBP 0.24 -6103777 x2 AppBricks GBP 1.24 70167 Invizable Gold Getaway 300401 x1 Brick 1x2 GBP 0.10 -6103777 x2 AppBricks GBP 1.24 371026 x2 Plate 1x4 GBP 0.20 4244369 x2 Roof Tile 1x1x2/3 GBP 0.12 6066124 x1 Wall Element 1x2x1 GBP 0.10 71068 Drillex Diamond Job -4612829 x1 Conical Horn Ø 3.2 Shaft GBP 0.49 -6103777 x3 AppBricks GBP 1.86 4210700 x1 Brick 1x1 With 4 Knobs GBP 0.23 -6109849 x1 Armour For Hand W/Ø 3.2 Shaft GBP 1.00 70169 Agent Stealth Patrol -6106471 x1 Glass For Frame 1x4x3 No. 4 GBP 1.19 4530589 x1 Frame 1x4x3 GBP 0.23 -6064228 x1 Inverted Roof Tile 6x1x1 GBP 0.24 -4541191 x2 Roof Tile With Lattice 1x2x2/3 GBP 0.12 -6103777 x4 AppBricks GBP 2.48 4567338 x2 Nose Cone Small 1x1 GBP 0.12 4633691 x2 Round Plate 1x1 GBP 0.12 3005748 x2 Round Plate 1x1 GBP 0.12 70170 UltraCopter vs. AntiMatter -4211511 x1 Brick 1x1 With 4 Knobs GBP 0.30 4222960 x4 Round Plate 1x1 GBP 0.24 -4567340 x4 Nose Cone Small 1x1 0.44 -6103777 x4 AppBricks GBP 2.48 -6106812 x1 Round Plate Ø32x6.4, “No.18” GBP 1.48
  14. Thanks for the information. I will definitely try this method soon. If what you are saying is true, then we would only need maximum four AppBricks to create all of the AppBrick Gadgets! Since it doesn't matter what set you got them in, we can definitely purchase the parts individually and play with the Second Ultra Agents App fully. The parts don't even have to be in the same colour, so problem solved! The only thing left to do is to open the instructions of the five sets and the three future sets (when they're launched) from LEGO's website respectively, then find out exactly how each AppBrick Gadget is built then try to recreate them in similar Bricks, making sure that the AppBricks are in the right position.A really simple solution right now is to purchase all of the required Bricks individually on LEGO's website, as long as LEGO Bricks can be delivered to your country.
  15. You're absolutely right. My idea is trying to tackle that issue and make things more affordable. It's true that you can make more money by selling bits of it in each set, but LEGO should be more considerate. If they really wanted to do that, then they should have made the Second Ultra Agents App exclusive for the people who buy the sets. Last year, I downloaded the First Ultra Agents App without knowing about the LEGO Ultra Agents Series, and playing the six missions there got me into the series, although I did not buy any of the sets in the first wave either. Now I want to continue playing the Second Ultra Agents App and LEGO's telling me that now I need to buy the sets in order to play with all the functions in the App! People like me simply do not have that much money, but we still want to enjoy the entire Second Ultra Agents App (at an affordable cost, of course)!
  16. In the second wave of Ultra Agents in 2015, AppBrick Gadgets were introduced together with the Second Ultra Agents App. The AppBricks played quite an important role in the App. As shown in here and here, the basic functions of the AppBricks are introduced. From the Second Ultra Agents App, we find the following information. Three functions of AppBricks: First, they act as Intel finders in the App, just like the three tools in the First App, and finding all clues will once again unlock "Mini-Builds". Second, they act as the "joysticks" of the new "App Brick Games", so you play the games using them. Third, you unlock Comic Panels with "ANTIMATTER's Twist Tool", the fifth App Brick Gadget. The three future Ultra Agent Sets will definitely include App Bricks as well, as Part Two of the Second Ultra Agents App will be released in June 2015, featuring three missions related to the three future sets. The problem is, you need to buy all of the new sets in the second wave and the three future sets in order to collect all the AppBricks and play with all of the features in the Second Ultra Agents App. Therefore it's very costly. To help reduce the costs for people (like me) who just want to play with the Second Ultra Agents App fully but not buy all of the new sets, I came up with an idea. I first saw Battle Packs in LEGOLAND. After reading more about it here, I decided that it will be a great idea for the Ultra Agents to have a Battle Pack. Here are some more details. The Battle Packs will feature all of the AppBrick Gadgets and a number of selected Minifigures with accessories which are directly related to the AppBrick Gadgets, such as Agent Curtis Bolt and ANTIMATTER. To be specific, as there are still future sets in the series, the Battle Pack will be released after the three future sets are released, so that their AppBricks and Minifigures can also be included. This can allow people to purchase only the Battle Pack at a lower price in order to play with all the functions of the Second Ultra Agents App, and at the same time own some of the Minifigures in the Series, without having to buy all of the new sets. If you also want the AppBricks to be available at a lower price/individually or have any ideas, please contribute to my topic. Thank you for everyone's attention.
  17. Here are three new errors I just found. In the Regular Mode of LDD, one of the designs of the Mini Head (Part 3626) is duplicated. As shown in the image here: https://www.dropbox.... Error.bmp?dl=0, the highlighted Bricks in the menu are duplicated, where they are simply placed in the opposite directions. Certain Bricks in LDD cannot be closed properly. Also, I've noticed that in LDD, You can place Flat Tiles on top of a Minifigure's hand, but he/she cannot hold any Flat Tiles (the most common ones are 1x1 Round, 1x2, 1x4, 2x2 and 2x2 Round) with his/her hand. This should be considered legal, as many of the LEGO Minifigures are doing that. Below is a short list of them with the type of Flat Tiles they're holding in brackets (I hpoe I haven't left out any). Pictures can be found on LEGO's website. Roman Emperor (Flat Tile 2x2) Fortune Teller (Two Flat Tiles 1x2, one on each hand) Graduate (Flat Tile 2x2) Grandpa (Flat Tile 2x2) Pizza Delivery Man (Flat Tile 2x2, Round) Trendsetter (Flat Tile 1x2) Carpenter (Flat Tile 1x4) Paleontologist (Flat Tile 1x1, Round) Policeman (Flat Tile 1x2) Traffic Cop (Flat Tile 1x2) DJ (Flat Tile 2x2, Round and Flat Tile 2x2, one on each hand) Disco Dude (Flat Tile 2x2) Businessman (Flat Tile 2x2) Surgeon (Flat Tile 2x2) Nurse (Flat Tile 2x2) Lady Liberty (Flat Tile 1x2) Video Game Guy (Flat Tile 1x2, one picture shows him holding it with both hands) William Shakespeare (Flat Tile 2x2) Velma Staplebot (Flat Tile 2x2) Scribble Face Bad Cop (Flat Tile 1x2) Abraham Lincoln (Flat Tile 2x2) Hard Hat Emmet (Flat Tile 1x2) Homer Simpson (Flat Tile 1x1, Round and Flat Tile 1x2, one on each hand) Marge Simpson (Flat Tile 2x2) Grampa Simpson (Flat Tile 2x2) Milhouse van Houten (Flat Tile 2x2) Ralph Wiggum (Flat Tile 2x2)
  18. Here is a little summary and update on the errors related to animals. Most of the animals in the Regular Mode of LDD have no facial expressions/printing on them, such as the Cats, Dogs and Birds. We can add the facial expressions/printing to certain animals in LDD Extended, with two examples being the Cats (Part 13786) and Kittens (Part 6251), but for other animals we simply cannot do that. In the Regular Mode of LDD, the Medium Nought Kitten (Part 6251), Chihuahua Dog (Part 12888) and Small Ape (Part 95327) are all available both with and without facial expressions/printing. For the Hedgehog (Part 98389), it's both in the wrong colour and lacking facial expressions/printing in the Regular Mode of LDD. My latest find is that the problem of parts missing facial expressions/printing is also found in the Mini Teddy Bear (Part 98382), where no facial expressions/printing can be added to it in LDD Extended. The correct thing to do is to include the facial expressions/printing for all the animals and the Teddy Bear by default in the Regular Mode of LDD, then there also will not be animals available both with and without facial expressions/printing. Here are two other errors listed in those posts. Firstly, certain parts are duplicated in extended mode (I don't know which ones Saberwing40k was talking about though). Secondly, the Right Points and Left Points (Parts 75541 and 75542) in the Regular Mode of LDD do not come with the Bright Yellow Control Switch (Part 2866). As they are actually two independent parts but need to exist together, the Bright Yellow Control Switch should be provided in the Regular Mode of LDD (it's now found in Extended Mode, but not in Regular Mode).
  19. I found another version of the Website: http://members.home....depot/index.htm, but some of the images, pages and links are missing, so thank you for uploading the site! On the other hand, compared to Blue Bricks, many of the newer Tracks and related Elements are not yet in Track Designer. The most useful ones would be some of the newer Train Stations, the Trains and the Train Wash. Even so, I still prefer Track Designer. In Blue Bricks, you can print out your layout in a suitable size easily and even export the file as an image. However, the quality of the image is quite low, and you need to zoom close-up in the programme for a clear quality of your layout. I tried to open a Track Designer file in Blue Bricks and the quality was quite bad, with things not properly aligned and shifted. Therefore, the printed versions may not look good either. For Track Designer, the image quality of the elements are very good, although the printing functions are a bit limited and you can't output any images. After doing a bit of research, I discovered that you can actually have "User-defined pieces for extending the registry" in Track Designer. That way I can extend the colours of the 32x32 Base Plates and add more Elements into the Programme, such as those I mentioned above. Since the "Help File" of Track Designer is no longer working, can someone tell me how to add more Elements into Track Designer's Registry? Thank you for everyone's attention.
  20. Thank you for everyone's help so far! I'll try out all of your suggestions soon after I finish something else. If things are still not working, I'll wait until I return home in June and try opening the file on my old Desktop Computer running Windows Vista instead, as using LDD there seemed to always have been error-free for me in the past.
  21. In the reply by pbat, a solution was suggested to solve these errors. In my case, all I need to do is delete some of the 48x48 Base Plates and my file should successfully load again. pbat's method involves unzipping and re-zipping the LDD file (refer to the reply for more details), but I could not re-zip the file afterwards due to some unknown error. Therefore, is there another way to delete some of the 48x48 Base Plates in my file when my file still can't be opened, such as by using other related programmes, then going back to LDD? Thank you for everyone's attention.
  22. Check out pbat's reply to me in the following link (near the bottom): http://www.eurobrick...953&st=700.. It highlights a very important point in these errors. Here I quote the key message describing my file: "LXF files are nothing but zipped xml files, along with a png preview image. What makes LDD crash is not so much the size of these files, but the amount of polygons it has to render: Many bricks result in bigger XML, thus in a bigger LXF file, while polygons do no necessarily correlate with brick count: A synonym for "polygons" is "studs". And there are little parts having more studs (= more polygons) than a 48×48 baseplate. And if your file has as many as 32 of it, it is no wonder it will crash. although its brick count and thus its file size is relatively small." The three links he posted there are also very useful. In conclusion, file size doesn't always matter if you can't open your LDD file.
  23. I'm not sure if this is a bug after all, but LDD on my Laptop crashes when trying to opening my current project: https://www.dropbox.com/s/v4km0sgsb4r8zty/Mini%20Race%20Track.lxf?dl=0, where its file size is 420 KB. Here is what happens: after I open the file, LDD starts to load; but when it nearly finishes loading, LDD crashes or auto-terminates, so I simply can't open the file to continue building the project! I had a bigger file with a file size of 696 KB and it worked fine. The only special thing about this file is that it has very large dimensions, as its base consists of 32 48x48 Base Plates in a 4x8 arrangement, so the actual dimensions are 192x384 Bricks. I had a new topic on this: "LDD Issue related to the Graphics Card." and another user Zblj already tried to help me out, but experienced the same things even when running his LDD with all graphical options off, safe mode, etc.. My Laptop has an Intel HD Graphics 4400 with 32 MB of Dedicated Video Memory, and a NVIDIA GeForce 840M which I'm now using for running LDD. Any help from other users is greatly appreciated. Thank you for everyone's attention.
