  1. Showing as sold out on UK store too.
  2. Excellent! I have saved your tutorial page too. I think I might have a go at one of these this week. Thank you.
  3. Having now completed my GG project, I am planning my next build. I have seen CC in different colours from standard, It was tan and blue I think. Has anyone else attempted this with good results?

Fantastic, I love the space you've used, it looks very 'modular'. Perfect. Well done.
  5. Really nice, I wanted to do similar.
  6. Having purchased my first trains (2xHE) I am now wondering what to do about power and track? I literally have nothing, just an unpowered loco. So given my 'blank canvas' status, what version or track/power should I go for? I love the metal rail option but I am unsure on likely cost, I have a large space to fill.
  7. So I am halfway through the first set and I am totally in love! I am going to need a bigger LEGO room and more money...
  8. Is it just me that's has a totally different shade of 1x3 blue bricks? They are verging on yellowed.
  9. These where available on LEGO UK again, I picked up a couple. Guess I need to build something to put them in now.
  10. Fab thanks ecmo47, you swayed me.Just bought 2 sets.
  11. Thanks, I think £120 per set is kind of ok, considering like you pointed out, its out of print now. I paid more for some of my modulars, that i'll never 'play' with.
  12. I appreciate a lot of people probably ask this question, so please don't throw things at me :) I am now at appoint where I am happy with my modular buildings collection and I REALLY want to add a train station to my city. I have been lurking here for a while and I see all the amazing stuff you guys do and coming from a 'Model railway' builder it seems only natural that I gravitate here! So my question is, HE, yes or no. I can pick up 2 brand new sets for £240, which seems very reasonable. Having just half a train isnt really an option. Anyone want to help me justify it? Cheers
  13. Thanks for the files.
  14. Is this the same as the one on Ideas? Either way I totally love it and I would by more than one if they appeared as a set. Now you have the fuselage and wings etc down are you going to build some more variants? Cessna Caravan on wheels would be awesome.
  15. LEGO City 60008: Argos have this set on sale. £49.99 now £29.99.
  16. I love the rooftop extension Dr Joesph, minimal parts and not too much change to the original structure. If you've got and LLD files, i'd like to see them.
  17. loving the Ute lightning.
  18. Thanks for the comments. Somethng new and I kind of enjoyed doing it. I can see these becoming included in larger modular MOC's in the future. I have some more ideas using the curved plates as bases. Less squares!
  19. I found myself with a few hours free today, so got the LEGO out as you do and made my first Vignette. Its not very complicated or detailed but it was nice to try something new and I have a few ideas for others I can do another time. LEGO Vignette - Book Store by Crustyfur, on Flickr
  20. Aha :) Sounds like they adding the graphic, but the offer doesnt start yet. I will submit my order tomorrow. Thanks Humdrum
  21. Just to add my 2 pence :) I agree with many other posts. The LEGO Moive was pure, marketing genius and why it didnt happen alot sooner will remain a mystery. I think we are entering a golden age for LEGO, we are hungry for it and they are feeding us. The continual adding of new products and retiring old ones will keep the wheels of commercial progress turning for years. Hell yea its still a toy, but all of my adult friends always ask to see the 'town' when they come over to the house and even a few of them have come of of the dark ages becuase of it. As long as LEGO continue to appeal to kids AND adults, long may it prosper. Now, what of the kids toys can I sell on ebay next to pay for my addiction...
  22. I am just looking at the current Free Gift on offer on the LEGO shop website. I can't seem to get it to tell me what I need to buy to qualify for it. Anyone else either know or can get the website to tell them?
  23. I love the original Airport series so much. I spent my life building planes.
  24. Amazing level of detail. Love it.
  25. Thanks for the kind comments guys, its encouraging when you get such positive comments from a talented bunch of people. Regarding the cleanliness... I was going for the cold clincial look, the urinals have yellow stained tiles in the bottom of them, prehaps i should have added some broken/missing tiles, trash can etc :) I'll see what I can do. She must have arranged to meet 'Dave' the flower cart seller here as he works nearby ;) This is currently still a WIP. I have started bricklinking it, so LDD file is the best I can show you right now. WIP - English Town Pub by Crustyfur, on Flickr
