  1. Great review...But it reads more like i should buy the set, but it somewhere in my basement, and wait until some of you master lego builders present a real ultimate expirience :D
  2. By any chance, did you build your factory after blakbirds instructions, and did you put those two tiles there? If that is the case, you might want to try removing the inner tile. The bucket shifter seems to run into them, and break the link you improved.
  3. I'm not an expert by any means. It took me hours to make my ball factory run smooth, like you with alot of try and error :D
  4. Cool video! I noticed, bob is dropping the buckets not far enough on the wheel. if you push the 1x2 thin liftarms a litte bit more to the inside you could adjust that :D
  5. I asked the lego service, they don't know how many they will make jet. But he was allowed to say, that this set will only be available online and in offical lego stores. I think they wont make many to begin with.
  6. you could push a worm gear around with the contraption that BusterHaus posted and let that drive a gear
  7. That's really a beautiful car!
  8. I don't know...i may have to ask my kids for help!
  9. Maybe they are red, because the have a different fitting. And if not, that would be something anyone here could easily change
  10. well...i really didn't wanted to built any of these GBC's...it looks so addicting. Blakbird...why did you have to write such a nice review? Now i have to build one of these things!
  11. Are you looking for these plans? http://lego.brickinstructions.com/en/lego_instructions/set/42043/Mercedes-Benz_Arocs_3245
  12. I think they brought this set because the 42030 did very well, regardless of its huge pricetag. I'm not quite sure how i feel about the look of this thing, but nearly 4000 parts is going to be fun!
  13. I really want this car. the new car panels are sure to be used in alot of mocs :D
  14. I own a Silver Champion, and it's 99% identical, i think that's quite sad to see. Nice review anyway!
  15. This is one nice moc, would buy instructions too :D
  16. Watching someone play with lego isn't the same as playing yourself :D
  17. I really like the technique of this video, but i think it could be a little bit faster, got a bit bored after 2 minutes.
  18. I think something like Jurgen Krooshoops 4 Speed RC gearbox is a better solution, http://jurgenstechni...m/gearbox2.html You just have to figure out, how to make it much smaller. I played around with it, but never really got it small enough. :D
  19. There are quite a view expenive Lego sets, but they are Star Wars, oder Creator, City :D Death Star 420€ ^^
  20. So, I started from scratch, i put the steering on the axles. If these XL motors are so powerfull i guess i could try my luck on one of these cool transmissions :D
  21. I think, there shouldn't be any impossible connections, but i really didn't think about the motors torque and how they would probably just bend themsels apart. I did the double suspension just for fun, but it really would be easier(and sensible) to only do live axles. Thank you for your imput. I guess i will start completly new. Didn't take that much time to begin with ! I know "real" CAD Software and Lego, i just didn't know something like LDD existed :D
  22. Hello people! I coudn't resist and bought a 42030 and was fascinated by all these new parts(Im was stuck in the year 2000 :D). I discovered LDD and started building a car. With these new remote controll capabilities and motors and stuff - it's quite a lot to think about. I'm looking for some guidance. I'm not really sure about my design so far. I really want to be able to drive around with it. I don't know how strong the new motors are, if my axles make sense. Would be nice if someone could take 5 minutes and look over my progress so far. I uploaded the .lxf file thanks!
