  1. Splendid building monsinjor......inside and out. Displays are great too. LLL PS.....my daughter (who is yet to start kindergarten) took one look and said "Daddy, it's a museum!" (she's never been to one)....so more proof of a convincing and impressive build.
  2. Unmistakeably the Horizon Express - great work. This would be much more in my price range too LLL
  3. Hi Lazarus, Great design and overall look ! Good luck with the part hunting. LLL
  4. Hi Annie, Couldn't agree more - there are some great models out there - and what better medium for model trains than LEGO. Welcome to a great hobby that I'm sure you'll get years of fun from. A tender car to hold the battery might be the answer (the Emerald Night does this - I think there are instructions for it on the LEGO website somewhere) . There are lots of ideas here at Eurobricks too. A search for keywords like: MOD Powering PF 9V should help. Good luck with this and your sticker project. Don't forget to tell us how it goes. LLL
  5. Question: Answer: Answer: A cattle car !!! Ain't she sweet? http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/30095  Thanks for voting ! .

  7. Thanks for all the supportive comments and feedback . I forgot about the 6x34 bases....might have to try my next MOC on one of those.

  9. Thanks Wedge! Where have I heard that before? LLL
  10. Hi everyone, Here's my latest train MOC and very first Cuusoo project. http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/30095 Hope you like it.....I've also hoped to make the concept a vote for new (never before (or not lately) seen) rolling stock. There seems to be lots of enthusiasm for more cars/wagons, so it will be interesting to see if we can get to 500 votes. Always interested in feedback (positive or negative) too. Cheers (and thanks for voting if you're inclined), LLL
  11. Hi All, I've been a long time passive Eurobricks fan, but more recently have been posting often, so I thought it's about time I introduced myself. A LEGO fan since 1977, I find the hobby gets more enjoyable all the time - especially now my own children are getting into the 'bucket' sets. I also go by the name 'scarbrick' on a few other forums (including Cuusoo). All the best. LLL

  13. Love it !!!! " I like to keep my scythe minifig next to where my heart used to be " LLL
  14. Hi Zilcho, Yep. LLL
  15. Presuming supply/distribution isn't a problem, wouldn't TLG - like most companies - just pick the price that their research suggests gives the best return per market? Eg: Just my 2c (to use the old cliche ) LLL
  16. Wow. Sometimes my wife reminds me there are other toys out there besides Lego for our kids....but I tend to insist on the Lego version (of Duplo Thomas or Lego Cars or whatever it happens to be). This just makes me want to insist more. WTG TLG LLL
  17. Well said !! I think it's nice that TLG have opened this door. It's up to us whether we walk through it. LLL
  18. Orig pane page Thanks for the feedback. I ran through a few options myself...even thought of posting with an empty 'talk balloon' and requesting suggestions. L
  19. Hello all, these are great. A lot to live up to, but here's my first attempt! Feel free to give feedback good or bad
