If you guys haven’t seen the Friends advent calendar leaks it does indeed seem very different from last year’s ones as previously reported. All the revealed builds seem to be mini-doll scale and none look designed to hang on a tree. What I find most interesting are the mini-dolls, there’s indeed four! The image is only confidential so I don’t think she’s set in stone but Emma seems to be the main friend of the set. She uses her legs from Mia’s horse trailer and a new light royal blue torso but I expect at least the torso to change as there’s no sleeves! More intriguing there’s 3 surprise characters and outlines for them on the box. There’s an outline for two microfigures with the CMF elf hats, two characters who are depicted in CG form on the box. There’s also an outline of a female in a short skirt with what looks like the ‘Karen’ hair - maybe Mrs. Claus? It’s high time we got seasonal characters as mini-dolls and I can’t wait to see these three!

I know they’re releasing too many at a time, the weird business movie I was talking about was releasing the summer pods 11 months before summer starts. XP

Disney Princesses 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
Soupperson1 replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
That little cottage is beautiful. It seems like too much for them to give us in one set though! LEGO likes to split characters amongst sets so we buy more. :P I definitely can’t see them giving us both the blue dress and the briar rose one in a single set that would be way too generous. :P I think they might do something similar to the dress stand from Cinderella’s Enchanted Evening with the large pink ball gown from the €10 set. Samson seems pretty likely to me if we’re getting Phillip as they already have the Friends horse in white in production so all he needs his a new print. I don’t think he’ll be able to draw the carriage though as that was intended to be a magic one and is too low down for a horse. Getting Samson, Phillip and Aurora dressed as Briar Rose almost seems like too much. If that’s the case I bet we’ll only see one fairy and generic Friends animals as forest creatures, though if we’re lucky it’ll be the blue bird from the Bookshop and Belle’s Winter Castle. This set definitely has potential though and I can’t wait to see it! Hopefully it’ll be revealed the same time as the advent calendars. :3 -
I wonder if this collection will expand quickly or will they be more careful after what happened to BrickHeadz?

Disney Princesses 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
Soupperson1 replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
One retailer listed Rapunzel’s Tower as a 4+ set but hopefully that was a placeholder. I can’t imagine they’d release three over €30 4+ sets in a year. Especially when the two largest sets are 4+. Ah I think that confirms the cottage is €40 and 5+! :D I’ve seen different retailers list it at anywhere between €30-€40 and then there was that Instagram kid who said it was €15. €40 should basically guarantee two mini-dolls though! Oh I just want a Phillip so bad. I wonder what hairpiece he’ll get? I think the CMF series 18 party boy’s in dark brown would work quite well. Well this is definitely the least popular of the long running licensed themes when it comes to AFOLs (look at the amount of pages here compared to the rest or brickset collections). Also other Disney Princess toys receive similar efforts. I’m not saying it’s okay, I’d love for them to expand this theme and make sets for older kids too. :) -
So some retailers and PromoBricks who have been very reliable this year have listed the summer cubes as coming out in September. That seems like a really weird business move.

Another site has listed 43187 and 43188 as September releases. I’m guessing they’re not retail exclusives after all. Let’s hope there is a summer retail exclusive with one of the missing set numbers then! Her first set must’ve sold poorly. They’ll hopefully give her another shot next year though. :3 -
The missing set numbers are: 41909 Mermaid Bracelet 41910 Friendship Ice Cream Bracelet 41911 “Go For It!” Bracelet 41918 Adventure Bracelet Any chance 41918 will be Adventurers based?

The mystic forest set does indeed have glow in the dark tiles! We haven’t seen those since Mixels and even then those were printed. It’s a real shame that the lavender bracelet is in the Mystic forest set and not the Friendship pack. Now all of us who have the Dark Unicorn bracelet will have a multiple of a colour. The medium lavender looks out of place with the other pastels too! :P

LEGO Monkie Kid 2020

Pigsy just has a stud at the top of his head, so you just need to find hats that fit over that specific piece! I agree with your we need cheap sets to lure us in comment as well! I don’t think the poly bag counts either as those are very difficult to purchase outside the U.S. I like to get at least one set from each new system theme and because I don’t like the Dragon Bike set I’m going to be stuck with spending a lot of money just to try this theme out! :P -

Can anyone who’s seen the sets in store verify their retail prices? -

At least that’s only one princess and two faces that we’re missing? Those four and Jasmine are the only ones not to appear in sets this year if we count the micro dolls. Hopefully that means they’re more likely to appear in a set next year? I guess we’ve been saying that forever though. The fact we’re missing so many characters from each of the movies makes it easier to accept new sets based on the more popular princesses. There’s plenty that could appear in that Aurora set and I hope they don’t disappoint! I really hope it’s not like the €30 Mulan and Cinderella sets where it’s a new animal print (which were both to make up for the old ones being bad) and a new dress. The builds in those sets weren’t worth the price either. XP The Moana one is better but I still think it’s over priced and could’ve come with another minidoll, perhaps of one of her parents. Another retailer listed the tower for €70 so either way it’s going to be big! I keep forgetting the last set that had Eugene was discontinued over four years ago. Yeah that’s not great for people like me who already have him and want Gothel instead. XP I assumed they didn’t do more villains in sets because the first two didn’t sell well, but Aurora’s must’ve if they gave her three sets after that one. They really limit the amount of mini dolls that can come in a set so I don’t think there’s been anywhere where a villain could’ve shown up. I guess Hans could’ve appeared in Elsa’s Ice Castle, but that was a release before Disney Princess started doing thee mini dolls in a set. I do think the new hairpiece for Rapunzel is likely! Especially if this turns out not to be a retail exclusive. The she needs to sit down with the hair argument made sense when the set first came out but ever since 2016 when they introduced Belle’s dress that can’t bend it doesn’t. Rapunzel’s hair is also too long for a micro doll so if they’re continuing with those she’ll need a new one. My theory is the set is so expensive as they’re introducing a set of moulds - one for the top of her hair and another that you can add onto it to make it longer. That would suggest why the set is so expensive if it featured two new moulds including a really long one or a lot of one of them if it’s in segments. I’m scared we’re going to get Maleficent now that you brought her up. :P I really hope it’s Phillip! They need to start giving us more princes. :3 -

Brickset lists both 43187 Rapunzel’s Tower (which should be around €60) and 43188 Aurora’s Forest Cottage (which should be around €40). I really hope Mother Gothel and the cmf chameleon done as Pascal comes in 43187. It be nice to get Aurora in her Briar Rose or blue dress in her cottage along with Phillip and at least one more fairy. :3 I’m quite excited to see these! -
Photos of the alpaca set don’t seen to be a leak, they’re full had photos on promobricks. :3 I think the build is quite good and different for Friends. I’m really annoyed about the mini doll selection in this jungle subtheme, every outfit unchanged comes in three sets except for Mia’s which comes in four. XP I guess there’s an exclusive animal in each set which is nice but if you want to collect all the animals in the jungle subtheme alone you’re going to have so many repeated characters. XP I found 41433 HD photos on this website: https://www.joueclub.fr/lego-41433-le-bateau-de-fete-lego-friends.html I guess those boat sets really sell well? :P It’s really odd to see one a year after the last, though I guess this is a retail exclusive. I don’t have much interest in having another Friends boat but I can still appreciate this set. It’s probably the worst of the boats we’ve gotten but it’s also the cheapest and has the best side builds! The hut is a lovely shout out to Andrea’s beach house and even features the same two animals. The flamingo floaty is beautiful and such a fun build! It might even be my favourite build from this wave, ugh I wish they sold that separately. :P I love Ethan’s and Emma’s exclusive tops too!

That action figure is based off his appearance from The Batman, which is also where the Kabuki Twins came from. LEGO must like that show for some reason. :P -

https://www.brickfever.nl/themes/disney/belle-039-s-kasteel-winterfeest I found Belle’s castle! Honestly for a 4+ set this looks excellent. The finished build looks like something that could’ve been out of a 6+ set and there’s some very nice prints to boot. Five of the persisting side characters is lovely too considering they had to make a new print for Wardrobe and bring back Lumiere and Cogsworth’ faces. We also have the dog rug, which I know is only a few bricks but it’s nice to see him offically. We also have the blue bird from the creator Book Shop! That’s a lovely inclusion! I like Velle’s face but it’s really lame she isn’t in her winter dress and they also cheaped out on Beast’s legs and face. XP This site lists two sets coming out in September, which I would imagine were supposed to be for Raya and the Last Dragon. That film was delayed so I think they’ll be pushed back to early next year. That’s all for new sets but it’s worth noting this site doesn’t have the retail exclusives (those Mulan and Moana sets) so hopefully we’ll see at least one retail exclusive for this wave as that original Spanish site listed five sets. :-) -
https://www.promobricks.de/lego-friends-sommer-neuheiten-2020/97125/ Theres high quality pictures here for all the June sets! The jungle cubes are really disappointing no new coloured frame and all the outfits are the same. Mia is the only one with something special by bringing back the female explorer’s cap.
-
All sets can be found on https://www.promobricks.de/lego-friends-bilder-infos-sommer-sets-2020/98873/ Only three sets feature mini dolls who aren’t the five friends, that’s really disappointing.
-
There’s also a retail exclusive party boat. I think you’re right about the monkeys being in the jungle cubes. It would make sense if the chameleon leak was too then so the other colours would be cool yellow and coral.

It’s a 4+ set with 238 pieces, so I wouldn’t hold my breath. :P A bunch of retailers have listed tbd Disney Princess sets with June releases, but Belle’s Castle is the only named one. I think it’s likely we'll at least get some retail exclusives. The Castle is definitely a summer release, not an autumn one though! I don’t understand the winter theming at all though considering this release date and she’s in her yellow dress. :P -
That’s shocking about the jungle cubes! I guess they’re going to be a retail exclusive and that’s why they’re only showing up on limited shopping sites. I’m excited to see what they do with them. :) Also now I think a lot of people (including me) will just buy 1 cube of each wave and then have a cube for each friend at the end. Apart from the reasons Gobias mentioned, the cubes’ limited building is supposed to slowly get kids who aren’t into building into building. Even sets like last year’s heart boxes which sold at the same price could be daunting with around 80 pieces, so these nicely ease kids into building.
