An official announcement?! Are you sure it wasn’t just fan speculation? If it was official that would significantly lessen L?eGO ever increasing the number from 12 or increasing rarity for a series to sell better again.

Yup. The prelims have him using the Sleepyhead hair, but that’s the same hair for Ethan so I doubt they’ll use that. :S

Promobricks says July for the Mickey sets, the sixth storybook and Belle’s and Rapunzel’s stables. June for the 4+ Frozen set and the new Belle Castle. We. Don’t know when the Ice Castle is coming out, but Mickey and Minnie was released on August 1st last year.

I just realised the new piece for Lumiere’s body is also in Lockhart’s classroom in the new Chamber of Secrets set! It looks as good as it did in those images from a while back. :)

I know what the Kooplings are. I called them the Koopa Kids as an umbrella term to also include Pom Pom, Boom Boom and Bowser Jr.

As a stand alone figure I don’t think Luigi works but within this system he looks good. Giving him an unique hat mould is generous! The chin shaping is weirdly shaded within this image, I’m hoping the original figure will be better. The skeleton goomba is a lame inclusion as it just underlines how invaluable those character packs are. XP At least this one has a new walking piece! That’s a very generous inclusion considering this theme is only a year old. Boom Boom confirms we’re getting a Koopa Kid in each of these, but he also reveals we still have 7 to go. He’s probably the least popular Koopa Kid as he and his sister Pom Pom are only late additions, which I believe are less than a decade old. I think he looks quite good, they could’ve easily messed up the fists. Light pink Yoshi is a neat inclusion and makes this set feel a lot more valuable than the last starter set. Lastly large spire with tiered platforms is also a fun addition. The rest of this set is just another Mario stater course and I’m not a big fan of those. They loose their lustre after a few days. XP I don’t think it helps that most people probably have the Mario one too. The medium nougat might be a new biome (mud?) but that’s not going to make up for much. :P I am curious to see what Luigi means for the other sets. Will the suits be themed for him? This stated course suggests the wave won’t be Luigi themed as there’s no Boos in it. There’s no general theming to it at all so we’re seemingly just going to get a normal wave. Let’s hope it’s revealed soon! I’m sure Amazon wouldn’t have gotten non confidential images too far away from an official announcement?

Lola is definitely iconic and a lot of people’s favourite modern Loony Tunes character! Petunia I agree with but they had to use a distaff counterpart, Penelope Pussycat or the goose with glasses if they wanted an animal. :P The Vidiyo series also had really bad accessories with most being reused pieces. I hope this isn’t going to turn into a trend.

Hmm the new cubes have already been retired in Australia. That’s really weird considering there are no April release of the cubes this year. Maybe they’re keeping the shorter shelf life just to be consistent? If the new cubes come out in June are retired in September maybe that means we can get the winter cubes? I built the set for my birthday and I love it even if it’s kinda small! Also for anyone who wants to make a Purist Christopher Robin, Pentunia Pig’s torso from the new CMF is perfect besides the collar being the wrong colour! :)

That is really annoying and I thought €35 seemed unfair to $35. xP

I’m surprised the reception to these have been overwhelming positive! I thought the simplistic designs and for the most part boring accessories wouldn’t have been popular. I hope this means there’ll be strong sales and thus a series 2 where we could get the humans! :3 This is the first series since DC where I’ll be buying the whole set. :)

66 Robin seems to becoming quite popular on Bricklink since this set's announcement. I went and bought him and the other 60s characters I wanted in fear of them going up in price. :P

I’m not surprised Tweety is a regular figure, it’s probably more appealing to brands to have their iconic characters represented as LEGO’s most iconic figure. We’ll see what he ends up looking like. I’m disappointed that the female character choices are just distaff counterparts. Lola makes sense as she’s very popular but Petunia I’m quite disappointed with. She’s not really used much in media or merchandise. Granny and Witch Hazel would be much more dynamic choices for a secondary female character! Apart from Petunia I’m really happy with this rumoured list!

Yay the 66 set is perfect to me. I'm very curious to see if people who bought the old set will buy this one too though as there's not exactly a whole lot more sans a plack and the Batsuit being a different shade of gray.

Unless it’s from a retail exclusive it has to be from 41683 as non of the other sets use that mould.

I think a Sleeping Beauty Castle would be part of the “Disney Parks” D2C line that they release every three years to go with the CMF, so hopefully next year! :)

If the cards are randomised (hence why there’s three in each set) they could do something similar to the tiles Dots and Vidiyo. The tiles would need all the same background colour and be printed with the same 5 colours though, the latter might ruin accuracy of a lot of the cards.

I think every single figure that has leaked has been outstanding so far! If the sets are as good as them I’ll be buying much more Harry Potter sets this year then I usually do...

So the 4+ set isn’t 66 based then? :( I think it’s because he’s not supposed to have moustache, but I agree 100% with you. :3

Hmm, I wonder if this Joker is from the 4+ set or the 66 set? He does look excellent! Selfishly I adore the moustache print, but I know a few people who bought the old set who didn’t. I’m surprised they didn’t axe it here just to give those people a print they like. :P

There were rumors about a bunch of new art sets including a Batman one at the beginning of the year or late last year. I wouldn’t be surprised if all of them were cancelled due to poor sales of that line though. XP
