  1. Looking around at all of the other heroes opting for neutrality, Thothwick supressed a gleeful smile. "Hmm... seems the follicly challenged gentleman may have his work cut of for him, if he is to follow up on his threat." Upon hearing the discussion about the Wolfgang archers, Thothwick turned to the small assassin. "Excuse me, but would you mind using your cloak upon the archers?"
  2. Thothwick bows in respect to the Fenarian. "Thank you, my dear lady, for respecting our decision, and not resorting to name calling."
  3. "I certainly view this as an atrocity, but not in the same sense as you. I see immigrants who have come here in search of the Eubric ideals of freedom, and who were shunned to the lowest caste of society. I see the diseased and crippled, who were forced in here for not being able to afford the basic health care Eubric provides, let alone the operations they require to rejuvenate them to full health. I see the remnants of slavery, left here to rot by former and current masters. These oppressed peoples see the Bonapartes as a representation of the people that shun them. The people who even now, are building a wall to keep the immigrants lost, the infirm ill, and the slaves in chains. Am I going to fight along side them, and kill the Bonapartes for their sins? No, I believe few deserve that fate. Will I join the aristocracy here, and take up arms against the brainwashed masses? I certainly shan't!"
  4. One step forward and two steps back. Nobody gets too far like that. No one would, unless you walk backwards, in which case you get there at half speed. I think you're potentially barking up the wrong tree here. For instance, what about the three people who voted for him on day one (one of which is a confirmed innocent)? Or day two, with the two confirmed innocents? Also, Ponchy, Edgar, care to answer my questions from yesterday?? Maybe you missed them, maybe you ignored them. Maybe you didn't hear because you both wanted my flesh so much!
  5. It's a pity you only want to start when the treat of lynching becomes imminent (maybe it's because you've spend all the time preparing the soup for when you all eat me... ), but by all means, help us. Tell us your suspicions, point out reasons other people might be cultists, what ever you feel could assist us. What with the number of people who've gone to bed, you may very well still be lynched today, but your insight may give us something to go on if you turn up innocent tomorrow. Long story short, if you want to be of value to the town, start now.
  6. Yep, it's just the usual 'he does nothing except vote', or 'he's added nothing to the discussion', or 'the last time you helped the town was during the Reagan administration'. Y'know, the usual stuff. But when you're ready to join the town, let us know. I tell you what, to sweeten the deal, we'll cook you a lovely meal! I just hope it's not Mouse! Okay. That explains the lack of suspicions cast by you today, but what about all the other days, where you were preaching that others should public denounce those whom they suspect? It was certainly nice speech. Most uplifting. Most helpful-looking, too. I almost feeling like singing our national anthem. But would you care to analyse what has being going on in the day, as opposed to analysing the pictures night?
  7. You think you're behind? Look at the bestiary!
  8. The smile from helping a fellow Metasimian was soon washed away by the blue Witch. "Bah! I can never be free of them!" "Madame, if you dabble in Witchcraft you deserve every misfortune that comes to you! The woman in the violet livery is sympathetic to vermin like you, take your case up with her!"
  9. Uh... care to explain how you arrived by that conclusion? Still the same reasons as yesterday, Booker. You seemed a bit confused with it all, and I did get back to you on that, but you either avoided it, or missed it because you were fixating on eating me!
  10. Throw out suspicions? What a novel idea, Ponchy! Kind of like what we were doing yesterday? Remember, before you voted for Ralphy, saying 'when it comes down to it, we have no other leads' (also Bridget did this, and when I pointed it out, chastised me for not knowing what she meant to say)? Oh look, that's something I found odd. Also, when on the first day, after voting for Bristol, you said you'd change your vote once she spoke up, but once she did, you chose to keep your vote there rather than vote for Wallace. Or like earlier, with your willingness to have me emote more over the five deaths, which looked very helpful. Also, when you summarised the pictures of the nights looked very helpful indeed! There are others who do do helpful-looking things. One example is Horace, with his helpful-looking and non-committal speech about Petey's suspicion list, or when he was very helpful-looking, when he surmised the reasons for lynching Carly (as Maurice pointed out yesterday). Or Dr. Gilda, who at the start of this ordeal suggested that the cultists we're up against are more akin to the third party type of cult, offering up essentially useless information, that is unlikely and unprecedented. And Edgar, too, who was very helpful-looking when he summarised the events of the first day. And, when it comes down to it, I'm still suspicious of Booker. And Lalzo (whose most insightful comment so far was to scrutinise Maurice for scrutinising Horace). And Pennie, who appears to have been stricken with muteness following day one. Does this mean everyone don't mentioned is believed to be innocent by me? No. Do I believe all mentioned are cultists? Again, no, or we'd of been overrun by now. Do I think their lust for my flesh has driven them insane?... yes! Ponchy, throughout all of the days here, you've been encouraging people to share suspicions. Why don't you join in? Whom do you suspect?
  11. Seriously? Okay, take your pick from any of these standard morning grievances: Five people are dead! Five! That's a higher number than four and three!/So many people are dead!/Oh no, I was so fond of Raphly/Becka/Gibson/Portia/Erine!/Hmm... does anyone actually know any cultists? Seriously, Panchy, has your lust for my flesh made you so crazy that you think the amount animals go 'oh no!' in the morning is input? Yes, the axe killer struck twice, but only because Portia was using her night action on Gibson (likely a hider role, as Heidi mentioned earlier).
  12. OoC: Sandy, I've just noticed a mistake with the stats. William Harkenshire/VolcanicPanik should actually be at level 15, unless his level at the end of Quest 30 is incorrect.
  13. Upon seeing the Metasimian mother, Thothwick was reminded of his first months in the Freeport. With help, their lives could be better. Ignoring the order of his party leader, Thothwick reached into his coinpurse, and gave his fellow Metasimian 70 gold. [My dear lady, I insist you take this gold. You would do best to try and get back to the Mistlands, learn the language of the Humans, and then try and return. At the very least, try and get to the Heroica building. Meet with either myself, or Byblos. He is of our kin, and could help you learn Humanish. There is also Hoptet, but he is still being tutored.] Turning back to the group, Thothwick addressed his party leader. "I know you mandated that we ignore these people, but I would not let one of my kin - a mother, no less, and her two children - starve."
  14. Bloody hell. On the plus side, the list of people who may want to eat me has decreased dramatically.
  15. "If the remedy proves ineffective, please take this gold, M'lady." Thothwick hands the woman 17 gold.
  16. Of course, here it is, in three parts: return from Dastan, returning from the day of searching, and the reunion. Just so everyone is clear, the italics a Thothwicks actions, the italics in speech marks being his thoughts, and the text in the square brackets are Thothwick/Hoptet speaking in the language of the Metasimians.
  17. I'm pretty sure that will happen to Mindy Mouse too! Note to self: Don't trust Statue, clearly trying to find a way to kill me so the others can eat me. Keep away from it at all costs.
  18. Upon arrival, Thothwick surveyed his group for familiar faces. The Elven maiden, the small creature wrapped in brown cloth and the serpentine Naga were all familiar faces from Dastan, although Thothwick had only barely interacted with one of them. Mr. Hybros and Mr. Daggerfall were with him in the Arena, but due to Thothwick's incarceration throughout most of the Quest, he hadn't interact with either of them much. Mr. Harkenshire was the only familiar face he knew well, and upon setting his eyes upon Ms. Cinna, he knew the Quest wouldn't be a world away from Witches. The others were all strangers to him. Being dragged from his state of reminiscing, Thothwick used his new found intimidation on the guard. "Stand aside, my dear. We have no interest in the Hovel Wall, but we do have business on the other side. Let us past."
  19. Kissing his Beau goodbye, Thothwick turned to walk out of the Hall. "Be careful, Thothwick. I heard you denounce Orang Pendek the night were we reacquainted. You no longer walk in his good graces, but rather in the shadow of his turned back." Thothwick jovially shrugged his shoulders, and continued out the hall. [May Orang Pendek guide him.]
  20. Not to mention, our Mayor has been away for a third of this crisis (likely off gathering supplies to make the table, when you all eat me! ), whereas you've been here from the start. I find it amusing that you clearly didn't pay attention to what I said (probably because you're so fixated on consuming my flesh! ). It had little to do with how much has been said today, but rather how much overall. Maybe go back and read it sometime, and come back to me. Now, on to Ralphy. As I've previously stated, I've found Raphly's behaviour odd. His odd behaviour has only increased of late, as I can't fathom why God would tell him that someone else is a tree stump, as opposed to telling the tree stump in question. Vote: Ralphy Rabbit (badboytje88). It should be noted that Poncho and Bridget both voted for Raphly whilst stating there were no other leads, despite several people being questioned at the time.
  21. Well, seeing as we're announcing suspicions, I'm finding Booker odd. He is so quiet, and even when he talks, it's mostly his quirky nature. I'm worried he's preparing the cutlery for when everyone eats me! On the first day, he was so quiet, he only spoke up as much as Bristol. Even then, he seemed to add even less to the discussion, but nobody seemed to mention him as overly quiet. Yesterday, he spoke up once more than the day before, although they were all relatively pointless. In the morning, he regurgitated all the usual things we say, blending in with the rest of us. Later on, he added even less, only 'Grrr'-ing and drooling (Note to self: Bear noticeably salivated upon seeing me, clearly wants to eat me.), adding nothing to the debate. Near the end of the day, he only turns up to vote. Today - although only halfway through - he has so far managed to join in with everyone in agreeing that the night's events were odd. And, just recently... ... on the contrary, we seem to have several leads. I eagerly await hearing your review of the events here.
  22. Ah, been such a long time since we all sung together... Shame about Baxter, and an even greater shame about Carly; it confirms that someone amongst us is feasting on animal flesh! I bet it's my husband! Or maybe his entire family is out in the woods somewhere! Still, I think she was a cultist, or else I wouldn't of voted for her. We can't be too sure the cultists were blocked at all last night. What with the potential for one of us to be poisoned, the cultists all off feasting on anthropomorphic flesh, or the janitorial role being replaced by the killing role, we can't be sure of too much at all.
  23. "Are you quite positive about this?" "Absolutely." "Because once I've gone, I won't be allowed to come back till the Quest is over." "Sign up for it!" Thothwick signs his name under Quest #44: My Best Friend.
  24. Squeak I believe he was referring to Ralphy Rabbit.
  25. Squeak. I don't believe it will come to much of a surprise to anyone as I vote: Carly Cow (Tamamono). Her explanation of her stout defiance of Petey is very weak. Her attempts at trying to embellish what I've been saying has also been poor. Yes, one of those he voted for turned to be innocent, whilst the other was a Cultists... I'm not quite sure what you are trying to imply... This, along with your (as I believe you described it) 'compulsive list making' yesterday, is odd behaviour. Has your lust for my flesh driven you crazy?
