  1. Well people should have a reminder anyways since it's only a week from release. :P
  2. This was revealed in October on Amazon I believe.
  3. Soooo I'm still a bit confused by the new torso piece, I think I read somewhere that it has friction but how exactly does that all work out?
  4. I'm not a fan of un-contributive one word answers, but I feel I must address you all; STOP.
  5. So far, just thinking about it, my only problems are colors and proportions. Never was a "clashing textures" guy, seeing as I still love G1 aesthetics, but I sure am tired of the use of metallics and trans colors -.- and Gali's and Lewa's legs appear really stubby, and Tahu's feel like the joints are swapped around. As well as their arms. But I do love the increased complexity, and functions galore. Still excited for em' though. My first buy's will probably be Tahu, Ikir, and Umarak. Then probably Kopaka, Onua, and Terak. After which Lewa and Uxar, than might hold off on Gali and Pohatu, at least right now. Looks like I gotta get rid of some figures for shelf space ;_; *sigh*. Now, I'm feeling a little pumped for summer(mainly because it is freaking cold and makes my skin hurt and dry), but also because Umarak the Destroyer sounds super promising. I mean come on, he's the Destroyer! Like a figure has to live up to a name like that(this sounds sarcastic but I'm actually being serious).
  6. It's a never-ending debate, everybody uses weak justifications to make people believe their opinions are superior, so I'd have to agree with you; At the end of the day, it all narrows down to PERSONAL OPINION. I'm tired of seeing people who don't meet others opinions being attacked for having their own on this website. Time after time, it's always the same. If somebody enjoys or doesn't enjoy something in a figure or a wave of figures then don't pressure them with your mindset, people. It just makes the experience less pleasing for that/those person/people. I came here last year to talk about a hobby from my childhood, toys. The story, the memories. Past, present, and future, only to get shot down, and witness others get shot down, for our opinions. Just accept it and MOVE ON.
  7. Well, his mask is a step up from his Master version, and the tan looks nice, as well as the Technic(problem?). Everything else, not so much.
  8. Wow, Tahu looks amazing with Ikir combined. Standalone, however, I have a few gripes. One being the massive amount of gold and trans orange, the other being the upper/lower leg size ratio. His thighbone is way too long, I might swap the foot friction joint and place it near his knee instead.
  9. Well, I kept telling myself that I liked Pohatu 2016 more then '15, judging by that last pic I was wrong, but I shall wait for his review before getting into that. As for Ketar, definitely not the best, but neither the worst. I'd prefer this over Aquagon-er-Evo Walker perhaps. Functions!
  10. I added a link in my original post to the picture(not mine) but looks like some lego store in a mall perhaps. Edit: Credit goes to The Night's King on bzpower for finding it in at the legoland discovery center in Atlanta. I use reddit, initially didn't see the additional link to the information in the post, sorry. Edit 2: Ninja'd.
  11. https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5820/23140996134_3d68506291_b.jpg Looks like somebody found some 2016 sets in stores. Edit: Added link, hopefully. Pain on mobile. @Dorek. Too bad this looks like a lego store and my closest is in a different state. ._. Wait, think I said that before. My luck is never changing.
  12. Curious about Umarak TD's legs, more so than anything else. I always liked the 2011 Titan leg design, but if UTD is in the 29.99 range I guess I'd expect a little more to them. Plus I think others aren't too fond of FL/Rocka XL/Black Phantom's legs due to the lack of ankle articulation(which I created a workaround for in use with Stormer XL feet). I also appreciate the size of Grievous but I definitely don't want UTD to be a clone of him, definitely want more bulk added, but those additions coupled with a size akin to Grievous would probably push the price up a bit from 29.99. Which I wouldn't mind but others might disagree. Looks like Bzpower's Umarak review is up, how come nobody has showed Umarak with his melee weapon? ç.ç
  13. Huh, Kopaka's shield looks to be two technic panels. They were just one in the preliminary, right? And big creepy smile Umarak? Lewa confirmed Matau powers and is Umarak(butchered that sentence). But I'm not convinced by that 4chan statement.
  14. I didn't know biosector01 had reviews! :s My thoughts actually improved a little on Lewa, his scarce green still looks vibrant, and I love his mask. Some Tetsuo Shima looking hair going on there.
  15. Thanks! Looking forward to the graphic novel, hopefully it adds more depth to this year's story
  16. While we're on the subject, when does that graphic novel come out? Should be soon, right?
  17. My, he is tall. And hopefully Melum hasn't breathed a sigh of relief that he doesn't have the threat of a Shadow Trap. XD
  18. Heh, I actually built his leg earlier just to test the articulation. Fairly decent, IMO. He definitely seems more like a 'titan' sized figure, at least in the piece count. Wasn't really expecting a €/$19.99(euro correct?) figure to get in the 170 pieces range again. I'm not complaining, no sir.
  19. But that is you and a group of others who categorize yourselves as superior MoCers, and don't take that the wrong way because you've dished out fairly decent mocs. And the classic rock/dubstep example was showcasing mainstream opinion. Edit: Blah, I suck at arguments. I've got a point to make but I'm not sure what that point is just yet.
  20. ^Maybe that's what a person enjoys, doesn't mean being "stuck in 2007" is a bad thing. We're talking about toys, after all. Not something immoral. I prefer music from the 70s and 80s, not dubstep, is that a bad thing? No. Even though some who actually like dubstep would consider it an "evolution".
  21. Really liking Akida, but judging by that picture of Gali I'm a tad disappointed. Her(Gali) color scheme is waaaaay too spastic for my taste. The orange, blue, silver, and two shades of translucent blue? Yikes. And those grey bones are a bit of an eyesore for some reason, which is odd considering they never bothered me in other figures. But it is nice to see the 2015 blue in a different shell size, as well as Akida's use of the colors. The orange also is appealing to an extent. Well, there's my premature opinion of Gali from the Akida review. Cheers.
  22. It just looks very unnecessarily um... objectified in my opinion.
  23. Yikes, I want to love him because of the sentimental value Tahu is to me, but there is way too much gold. D: I didn't want to believe people when they said it, but now my eyes are open. As well as the legs, I'm not a huge fan of CCBS figures with longer thigh bones then lower leg bones(lack anatomy knowledge, how did I ever graduate), plus that Technic shell does stand out, but I'm willing to excuse that due to nostalgia. On the pro's, however, I love that mask, the weapons, and Ikir's wings. Thanks for the pics!
  24. I remember getting the robot guy for Christmas in '02 I think? In the likeness of Adam Jensen, I will say- I never asked for that. Still have it somewhere, in the basement, far away from me. Good review nonetheless. But now that Vorkosigan mentioned it, I would love a John Carpenter's Galidor.
  25. It's that time of the year already? I've got to stop sleeping so much. And no comics on the boxes anymore? :I
