*clears throat* On the subject of Umarak and his being a proper villain, I must say I'm feeling a little bit more irked by how emaciated/scrawny the villains have been and will be. The heroes already outnumber villains, must the villains appear so weak? On the plus side I am guessing that, UmarakTD aside, the summer villains will be a soldier class/army/horde, but still. It's not even about height, just armoring and such. They're all so skinny compared to the Toa, which was excusable last year because they were skeletons, but this year? I'm hoping next year the villains will be more substantial in numbers and size, it will be the showdown after all, give a larger sense of urgency.

Somebody catch me, the hype is too strong. I'm curious as to how this Labyrinth came about. The MoCo imbedded in the architecture is fascinating if it's a final design choice. Which pegs the question; Who made this place? Makuta? Prior or after the MoUP? Oooooh I'm getting tingly.

Why not order it? I usually never buy the figures in stores anymore, too convenient sitting down, getting fatter, and not being social for me(AndIKnowThatCashierIsJudgingMeForBuyingActionFiguresStill), plus I enjoy getting packages, ever since ordering Jaller in 07', *sigh*. But that's just me though.

I'm confused by this statement. "Overly-complex", the larger the set the more complex it should be, no? I'm not going to pay $25 for something that is made with a parts budget of $15, nor would I want a design to be as simple as possible. Although you were referencing MoCs in particular in your comment, I have seen you state the sets were "Overly-complex" standalone in the past.

Little speculation on the MoUP, in set form what if it's a blend of different trans colors? Or is that even possible? It could be made out of different pieces, perhaps.

Can Umarak's upper legs handle all that bulk? I mean, he's standing so they can. Guess I never tested those friction joints to the extremes. And Ekimu's shoulders are really wide, does he use a 2015 gearbox? If so then I guess no Piece of Unification, perhaps. And Storms' arms are a tad ugly, imo.

Somebody mentioned he could be gradually turning into his Destroyer form. Not sure how that would work though, intriguing.

Somebody on reddit pointed out that Umarak in Pohatu's video is very... different. He's sporting purple ribcages on his arms, shadow traps for hands, etc.

^Yeeeeeah didn't somebody say the Skull villains had tan pieces last year at one of these events? Curious as to how somebody describes something like that incorrectly.

Whoa, now, just because the pieces look different doesn't meant they're not lego. They are all made with the same components, on the inside. :D Seriously, people still bitter about Constraction almost 17 years later?

So, I'm curious as to where the whole story is going. What exactly *is* the story? What is the purpose of finding these great masks(MoCr, MoCo) and how does it tie-in with the obvious showdown with Makuta next year? In G1 it seemed pretty obvious how all of the years were tied together, but now it kind of seems like this year is foreign to last's. Not to mention the masks of power rehash. There's a good chance that UmarakTD will be defeated at the end of this year, after that what happens? Where does Makuta come into play? How will the Toa get their eventual upgrades? I guess these are all questions that will get answered, but I'm still skeptical after last year's ending and the transition to this year's beginning. This is why I miss comics, it seemed like later years always had a cliffhanger or at least some explanation of events right into the new year. Well, that and the books which I, in fact, did not read (why do Lewa, Kopaka, and Pohatu have aircraft parts on their bodies???)

Nice to see they're trying different action genre's(2017FpsGunsReplaceFunctionsAgainNooooooo). And the Skull Villains must still be a threat, that will help out the hero/villain ratio I guess... And I know people mentioned the MoCo's resemblance to Teridax's movie Kraaken(I still suck at names 14 years later), but UmarakTD's looks a lot more like it, imo.

UmarakTD doesn't actually appear to be that large when you look at his pieces in person, namely the XL torso and kaiju fins. Plus his upper legs look to be the same as his Hunter form, only his lower legs are larger. Still, he's probably around 24.99, so that's decent enough. Considering inflation(in the states) that's about the worth of a 09' Titan. Now, if he's 29.99, well, just have to wait until NYTF to see if he's worth it. Also, it seems Quake doesn't use the new torso, the ribcage piece is set lower than the others. On that note, Storm's tail-trap; where exactly does that connect? Wouldn't it obstruct the gear function? Additionally, the shadow traps- it seems all of the enemies have the components to make one: UTD with his foot claws, Lava(where's his trap?) with his foot claws, Quake with his claws, and Storm's claws. And curious about that piston looking thing on the back of Storm. Ahh, I love leak season.

So, drained Toa masks. Again. I see it now, Umarak The Destroyer incapacitates the Toa, Ekimu constructs prosthetic limbs to increase his height, gives his shield and mask a little paint-job, than assembles a melee weapon to use in an epic(sarcasm) 2 second scene where he; SMACKS UMARAK'S MASK OFF. Than makes replacement masks for the Toa. The end. Wait, has this been done before?

Leaks already? *sips coffee* Umarak Teh Destroyer- Wasn't sure what I expected, possibly a huge mutated guy. Seems about right. Could have been larger but it's nice to see more Titan-esque builds at the 24.99 pricepoint(judging by the box size and slightly more pieces). Ekimu- Too. Much. Trans. Period. Storm- Shadow Trap tail? Quake- Asymmetry, Check. Trans Purple, Check. Shadow Trap shoulder, I'd recommend a doctor but Check. Lava- You should eat something and trim your nails or whatever those are. Overall, meh. The whole Ekimu vs Umarak idea will probably be epic, though.

Figure I'll post this here, but after reading the Terak and Kopaka/Melum reviews on here, and the mention of Bohrok similarities I've wondered maybe they'll model Quake beast after one? I think, at least, that it would be fitting. And as cool as having a Bohrok for each element was I doubt they'd do it again, so 'Quake' and a similar Bohrok function sounds nice together.

Well, the writing irks me but what was I expecting. Few things to note; Villagers are starving, send food. More emphasis on Villagers/Protectors having offspring(are you all happy?). Three or four celestial objects in the sky, almost looks like the larger is orange/brown and another green(Bara and Bota?), with possibly another third one. Oh, and the Mask of Time.
