  4. Got my invitation too. Seems a bunch were delivered today As for the io file format, it’s a password protected ZIP file containing five files: model.ldr, model2.ldr, thumbnail.png, errorPartList.err, and .info. And, yes, point 7 of the licence looks like we shouldn’t say what we’re saying here….
  5. I’d guess that means they are using LDraw geometries/files, but, as they need to 1. match BrickLink’s IDs to LDraw’s for prices and available colors, and 2. get the connection and collision data, some parts (PF…) aren’t “matched” yet, and so are not readily available, but their geometry can still be loaded.
  6. Update 2016-11-16 Renumbered: 42114 / 42114.dat Minifig Tool Light Sabre Hilt with Bend

  9. Update 2016-11-07 Added: 93089 / 93089.dat Animal Cat Standing Looking Left And some assemblies have been reorganized (one subpart is beam and screw, the other is the magnet case): 64414 (and variant 91992) Train Buffer Beam with Plow and Sealed Magnet (Complete) 64422 (and variant 91994) Train Buffer Beam with Sealed Magnet (Complete)
  10. LDD only on import (.lxf). Anyway, you can still export in .ldr in stud.io and import the .ldr in LDD. You “only” need to check the assemblies (legs, torsos…). LDD needs them in (its) pieces. And, of course, there’s the problem of patterns/decorations. But, first, does stud.io exports them in LDraw?
  11. Great. Thanks for the info. I hope they’ll publish the specs for their format.
  12. Update 2016-11-05 Little update due to changes in LDraw Unofficial parts (subparts for 58123 and 11767).
  13. Update 2016-11-04 Added: 22390 / 22390.dat Wedge 6 x 8 Double with Cutout
  14. Can’t see his feet nor his shadow. I can see a little better on flickr. Maybe it’s the white background here (vs flickr’s dark background) that blinds me.
  15. I think monkeyjay2003 was talking about what can be seen in the screenshot on the announcement page. And yes, that looks like 98100ps1. So, still no one invited for the next step/download?
  16. Er, don’t see any difference… or is it even darker?
  17. The other way around: divide 360 by the number of teeth , or even better 180/number of teeth to directly get the angle to have the teeth evenly separated/locked.
  18. Update 2016-10-31 Added: 23949 / 23949.dat Slope Brick 2 x 6
  19. I never said there was no announcement or that no one was told anything. I said I relayed the info on BL’s forum because I saw nothing on BL’s forum about that. I complained BL didn’t use its forum to make that announcement. As always. That’s all. You’re skewing everything I say. But if you want to continue putting words in my mouth, go on. Have your day.
  20. I meant on the forum. A small announcement there would have been nice. And who goes to the frontpage every days? I hadn’t gone in weeks. And who looks at the “ads” when there? If I have to go through the frontpage, I usually only look for the catalog icon or another one and click on it as soon as I can. But I should be used to BL’s communication skills by now….
