Dang that MOUP looks awesome, though I would have liked Makuta to be black and red in that scene like he's supposed to be. Maybe that means we're getting normal Makuta in a set with that chest print? I was really hoping for a massive black and red titan. Who knows, maybe we'll get 2 Makuta in 2017, Mask Maker Makuta in the winter wave and Ultimate Makuta. Dang, I'm gonna have to get that hawk now. I wish we had an easy way to get it in the states... sigh.

For people who say that Daredevil would be unlikely due to the mature content of his Netflix series, I point to exhibit A: this year's DC sets that featured the full line up of the Suicide Squad featuring looks that are actually pretty similar to their appearances in the upcoming movie. We also just got Ghost Rider, though the movies were pg-13, the comics historically have a significant amount of mature content. We've also gotten Carnage, who was a serial killer before getting powers-- and then proceeded to become a serial killer of people with powers. We also got Deadpool, though he tends to be more crude than gritty, I don't know if that matters to TLG. Honestly, the only thing that's hindering the existence of a Daredevil minifig is the fact that he's only appeared on Netflix lately. If he shows up in the cartoons, he'll have a better shot. Heck, Ghost Rider appeared on Agents of S.M.A.S.H. before it was canceled on, I dare say, it's best episode. Man, did they portray a perfectly B@d@$$ Ghost Rider and I loved it. The LEGO model of his bike even somewhat resembles the one from that episode, certainly more so than any other version of his bike to date. I also get the feeling he will appear again in this form in an episode of Ultimate Spider-Man or Avenger's Assemble, given they tend to share character appearances including those from Agents of S.M.A.S.H. as a shared MC(artoon)U. Also here are the LEGO bike and the bike from Agents of S.M.A.S.H. as I don't think anyone has mad a side-by-side comparison yet. I think the figures are really great but I'll reserve judgement on the vehicles until we get more pics. It looks like the Hulk vehicle has a big gap in the middle and they both seem to have the bigfig spots hanging off the back when I feel like they could've integrated them into the builds better. It seems like anytime we get a bigfig vehicle they just kinda hang off the back rather than get a spot that's well-integrated into the build so it actually looks like they are in the vehicles rather than standing on the back of them awkwardly. Also, personally my top most wanted figure for 2017 would be Daredevil.

Ah that explains it. I was baffled as to where you got the fur piece in dark brown. I like your modifications, Sandman in particular. I wonder if the printed Green Goblin arms from the first Spider-Man movie LEGO set would look good on Scorpion. -
Ahhh, I see your game! Interesting...

ESB was exclusive for the deluxe edition, Jabba's pac was exclusive for gamestop purchases and the Jedi pack is exclusive for season passes/deluxe editions. I guarantee that all of them will be available to everyone eventually but that'll be awhile.- 201 replies

Ghost Rider for me of course! -
Wow that was pretty cool. The beasts and UtD all look awesome and that's totally the MoUP in his hand at the end! I can't really tell what he's holding in the clip right before that, it just looks like a jagged sliver of gold at that angle. It looks to me like he's summoning Makuta at the end.

Huw's comment has to be one of the worst. I don't have much respect for that guy as it seems any time he comments on an article or posts an article he words things very pompously and in his eyes if it isn't City, it's an abomination. Oh and heaven forbid a set commits the ultimate crime and comes with stickers(that are optional to put on). Seriously, sure it's not ideal but it's not the end of the world. He doesn't bother trying to hide his disdain for most themes and it comes off as being very unprofessional someone running a website like Brickset. Don't even get me started on his abysmal toyfair coverage. Anyway, yeah there will always be those who are close-minded and still can't accept that constraction is a vital part of LEGO now. Is the Bionicle reboot perfect? No. Are the sets, on the whole at least, excellent? Yes.

So I don't know if this has already been discussed but TRU has a sale going on 20% off all LEGO products and a free $14.99 sized Bionicle set with purchases of $40 or more. That's pretty sweet but I'm also concerned about what that says for the line. I'm not trying to start the doomsday talk again SO DON'T START IT BACK UP. I'm so sick of that being the only thing this topic is good for. It's depressing and counter-productive. The sale ends today so take advantage!

I really like that poster and I'm intrigued by the MOUP(?) above the volcano. I'm hoping other Toa (like Onua!) get more of the spotlight this time around like Lewa and Pohatu did in the last 2 episodes.

Seriously!? You're the man! Thanks for the info. About the Sentinel, I actually don't think it's that bad. Not perfect but passable.edit: You also get a free $14.99 sized Bionicle set with purchases of $40 or more? As a lifelong Bionicle fan that's hard to beat! I already have them all but spare parts are always welcome.

That really surprised me first time I heard it considering the characters that were included. I have the Deadpool set and it's great. I really wanted the Blackbird but unfortunately I missed out on it. It wasn't perfect but I still liked the look of it. Just the fact that it was X-Men should have made them hot ticket items.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Video Game Discussion
Toa Palpo replied to npgcole's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I beat story mode and have played a decent amount of free play. It's one of the best LEGO games to date. I love the free roam and I like having the Dajarik table to farm studs is pretty sweet. I quite enjoyed the extra levels too. Some were longer than others but all of them offered some nice locations and did a great job of fleshing out the story leading up to TFA. I only wish there were free flying like in LEGO Star Wars 3. I really loved being able to hop in a ship and land and jump out. One of my favorite things in free roam is walking around as a Rancor(hands down my favorite Star Wars creature and bigfig!) and crushing everything in my path. I only wish he was a little faster, could jump, and could actually pick enemies up and eat them. Having preordered the PS4 version from gamestop, I got 3 DLCs right from the get go. The Jabba pack is decent, the Droid pack is awesome for Grievous alone. I primarily run around as him, he can actually do quite a bit but he can't drive vehicles for some frustrating reason. The Jedi pack though, that was a must have for me. All of the Jedi are great and the Eta-2 Actis-class Jedi Interceptor was absolutley the best part for me. It's Obi-Wan's version from the most recent set of course and I love that set too. By far my favorite Star Wars ship from all of the movies, shows and EU. Just beautiful ships imho. I really look forward to the rest of the DLC when it comes out, especially the Clone Wars character pack and the story missions.- 201 replies

I could also see them being used back to back for scales on the back of a dragon.

The only way I'd buy a micros set is if they released a Ghost Rider one. -
The only G2 set I have left to get is Storm Beast. So far, the Beasts, UtD and Ekimu all are great in person, pics don't do them credit. Even Quake Beast's crystal arm isn't so bad as long as you display him like in the box art with all of the crystal parts touching each other covering up any gaps. I still wish the Beasts had a jaw snapping feature instead of a mask pop-off feature that doesn't even make sense for the Beasts as I'm pretty sure those are their face even if the LEGO Shop descriptions call them masks. They look horribly awkward without masks and I have my doubts that these mutant monstrosities are supposed to have crystalline humanoid skulls as their actual faces. I felt the same way about the Skull villains.

Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
Toa Palpo replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
Make that Cloak and Dagger in the same set. Squirrel Girl would be great too along with Mysterio and a proper bigfig Rhino. Above all else though, I want a Daredevil minifig using the BP ear piece backwards and 2 3L lightsaber blades. Maybe a Daredevil/Spider-Man team up set against the Kingpin(bigfig)? That might be too perfect.Okay, starting to get off topic, woops. Man I want that Ghost Rider set so bad! I'll probably get it and the Doctor Strange on day 1, budget willing. Ghost Rider will be a day one purchase no matter what. I'm interested in hearing what the desingers have to say and how and why they chose to do Ghost Rider. Perhaps there is a fellow hardcore GR fan among the LEGO designers. It's unfortunate that Wong and Kaecilius aren't included to properly round out the main characters. I'm curious to see the back of the build to see how the portal beast rotating mechanic works. From the description it makes it sound like the mouth spins one way with the tentacles spinning the opposite direction. I'm also curious about the technic protrusion on the left wall. It just seems odd. It might be what is used to show Doctor Strange hovering but I would have thought the clear beams serve that purpose much more effectively. -

I preordered the deluxe edition from gamestop and got all of the preorder bonuses which were 3 dlc packs, the Finn minifig, a mini Kylo Ren's Shuttle set, a poster, a "BB on Board" sticker like the one Rey puts on her speeder, and a really cool holographic panel that was on the front of the box. So far it was absolutely worth it. A lot of great stuff and the game is already stacking up to be one of the best LEGO games to date. I'm loving the free roam and the vehicle segments in particular The blaster battles are also great.- 201 replies

Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
Toa Palpo replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
True, though I imagine there will be some excuse to change it for the sake of selling more toys. If it does stay the same and we get the same Vision in future sets, it's a great one to get over and over, unlike the worn out spidey we keep getting. I could see some improvements on Vision though, like arm printing and dual-injected legs so that's always a possibility too. -

I'd honestly rather get a Richard Rider Nova. Given the trend with the Marvel sets this year, I could see it happening down the pipeline. By the way, I just perused LEGO's website and found they already had pages for the new sets in the US, probably old news to most but I didn't bother checking as I didn't think there would be anything. There's just the updated bio page with the characters and sets nothing special. I was kinda hoping for some nice new cg pics of the Ghost Rider set to update my avatar and banner but I digress. I 'm looking forward to seeing some commercials featuring these sets though. It'll just be exciting to see Ghost Rider get a little more publicity. Man I CANNOT wait for August 1st! -
Hey maybe we'll get Slizers 2.0, Roboriders 2.0 or Throwbots 2.0 In all seriousness, I suspect we'll get something along the lines of Hero Factory(I seriously doubt we'll ever get Hero Factory again given how poorly it performed) that has a more futuristic vibe to it.
