  1. Welcome to eurobricks
  2. Very nice . I'm a huge fan of your ideas projects. Fantastic work!
  3. Amazing work - i love it . Your representation of Minas Tirith is really fantastic.
  4. That's a cool project - i looks great . I have voted for this on ideas immediately after I saw it.
  5. Very nice . It looks really better than the SDCC version.
  6. Yessssss. It feels really great seeing that the Minas Tirith set has achieved the first step
  7. I have to agree with Deathleech. The Treebeard from the game uses some building techniques which TLG would never use in a set. Treebeard is one of my favourite characters of Lord of the Rings too, so I can definitely understand that you want him but I'm sure he's the ent from the Orthanc. The lack of Merry and Pippin has other reasons (every minifigure makes producing a set more expensive), but they can sit on the Treebeard perfectly, I just tried it .
  8. This week I bought some Lego Hobbit sets 20 % off 2x 79012 Mirkwood Elf Army 1x 79001 Escape from Mirkwood Spiders
  9. Wow, the scale is really impressive . The details are fantastic!
  10. Thanks for the pic Giving Ori that beard piece is really a nice idea, it's not perfect, but I'm considering bricklinking that piece now....
  11. Very nice! All the details and techniques are fantastic
  12. That's a really lovely set . Furthermore I like the way you made Bilbo, too.
  13. He's one of the main villians in the movie, I think he has even more screen time in DOS than Azog. Furthermore Bolg is mentioned in the Hobbit book too, so he's definitely more than just a 'orc with lines'
  14. Fantastic! Your MOC is really amazing . I love the rockwork and all the details.
  15. I'm always wondering when reading we still need a set with 'treebeard'. In my opinion the ent from the Orthanc set looks exactly like treebeard from the Lord of the Rings movie. The beard, the postion of the eyes,.... the ent from the set really reminds me of him .
  16. My list would be 1. Bolg 2. Beorn 3. Armoured Sauron 4. Armoured Azog I would love to get a Bolg and Beorn (Bear) minifigure, because we never got them in a set. Wie already have to versions of Azog, so I don't need a third one. Sauron would be a nice minifigure, though.
  17. Welcome to eurobricks .
  18. Fantastic fig! I like the hair and the shield. A really beautiful minifigure
  19. Welcome to eurobricks, Mike
  20. Up to now TLG gave us three variants of Thorin : - Thorin (Outfit from the first movie) - Thorin in Lake Town Robe - Thorin version with crown
  21. Very nice. That would be a lovely set to display . I like the play features and the look of the build!
  22. The gaps between the numbers are realy strange, but I doubt they are hints for coming sets. Anyhow, I can imagine, that TLG planned more sets for the second Lord of the Rings wave, but for some reasons they skipped one set - maybe 79009..... Maybe it was the Lothlorien Set from the Lego Lord of the Rings game, but i fear we will never find out .
  23. Awesome! I love the ground scene and all the details . Fantastic work - and good luck for the contest .
  24. Wow these ships are really awesome . I love the way you made them! Fantastic work!
