Oh yes, nice idea!!! Looks really good and they will fit better with the other non-modular buildings too (Bike shop and cafe, friends buildings etc.)

Wow. This is gorgeous. So many pretty details and that sloped roof gives great character. Love the candy canes aside the door, and the mini figures, and all the colours including the pastel accents on the snow. Fits right in with the official sets.

I really love this. I love the overall look of all it and think it fits in perfectly with the official winter village sets. I adore the truck, and the custom stickers are really good. Sweet little mini barn for the animals, nice minifigure selection (esp. the waitress!!) and cute story. I would so love to have this in my winter village!!!

I like this - very nice shape, stonework and colours!

I really like this. The cottage is a super cute design and the stable is just right. I really like the covered wagon and the detail of the flowers at the bottom of the lamp posts.

I really like the snowglobe!! This is a very regal building with elegant interior. The curtains look great and the whole atmosphere, with the ladies in their lovely dresses, looks just perfect to me.

Oh well I guess you can enter the tavern next year then? I will look out for you at Brickvention, and you have me intrigued now as to what your theme will be. I will say hello!

I too really like the curling rink and well, and the overall look of the windmill is great. Love the little hedgehog in there too. Will we see it and you, at Brickvention in Jan? I hope so!! I loved your whole village layout last year!!

Wow this is epic! Is this really the first time you've built all the sets? What fun!! I too was surprised and pleased to see the cute background. How long did it take to work on all this? It looks great. Nice trees too. Love that holiday train. I so hope Lego rereleases it someday!!

Oh wow this is fantastic! I love it and will be voting for this Ideas set!! I really like the minifigures you've put together especially baby Jesus with his halo, and the manger is clever. So many pretty details. I have a wooden one which is a very precious memento from our trip to Germany many years ago.

Yes I do like it - very much! Your arrangement of the sets is pleasing and your meandering cobblestone path really ties them together beautifully. The tiled area under the tree is nice too and helps to make it stand out as the centrepiece. The expanded pond looks a good size too. Lovely!

This has a lovely shape. A bit different. Have you designed, or will you design an interior? I want to follow the minifigures inside... I love seeing churches for this competition, especially because Lego will never design one.

Do you mind if I ask where you purchased the minifigures from? I think baby in the manger definitely looks the best. It's traditional that way. Very cute!! I'm inspired to do the same for my winter village.

This is very sweet. Did you print decals for the clothing? They look fabulous. The hood looks really good too.

Yes, this is a beautiful MOC. You have skilfully translated the ideas from the window scene into Lego. It's just gorgeous with so many wonderful details. I like how you have done the snow around the front of it too. Thank you for sharing!!

Yes this is gorgeous, so different to everything else in this theme but yet it fits right in, I also agree that it looks magical!! Love the trees and the roof, I really like the colour and would be very happy to have this in my winter village.

My daughter loves dogs so her ideal Christmas tree would be one with a dog under it. She made this cute little dog and here she is patting it!! Thanks for the opportunity to enter this raffle!

I agree - this is a great little moc. I too really like those shelves, and the 'factory' layout in general, with all the hubbub in the centre and Santa's quiet little spot up high where he can concentrate on the correspondence but still keep an eye on things. The clock as centrepiece so that they can ensure all the toys are ready by Christmas Eve is a wonderful idea and really completes the scene. I also really like your Christmas tree - I haven't seen one like that before. I look forward to seeing pics of your entire moc when it's ready !!

Oh this is lovely. What a pretty house. It fits the theme perfectly. The interior is sweet in its simplicity too. The snowman is cute, I love the shape of the building, the textures and how the arch over the back opening completes the picture.

This looks really fascinating. I too would love to see more pics please?

I cannot say enough how much I adore your entire winter village. Of all the genius Lego creations out there on the internet it is hands down my favourite. Every detail of the buildings and landscaping is a joy to behold. The winter village series is what drew me out of my Lego dark ages, and shortly after that I found your winter village, and it has been very enjoyable watching it grow and using it as inspiration for my own little display I build with my kids each year. I only wish I could see it in person - please let us know if you ever bring it to Australia!!! Thank you so much for building this and sharing!!

Hello there, I'm a relative newbie to this scene. I've always loved lego, but haven't played with it since I was a kid. My brother inherited all our town sets, however I'm very happy to say I've still got all my Fabuland collection. I have three kids - miss 7yo who loves lego, miss 4yo who said 'no thanks' to lego for this Christmas, then added "I'll probably like it next Christmas", and mr 2yo who really really really wants to play with his sister's little lego but he does seem to be very careful with it so he's allowed to, under close supervision. Sooo... now that my oldest is keen, and the youngest is no longer trying to eat it, I've decided its time to start building my own sets that I've been collecting for the last few years, the winter village sets. I really love this theme, with a passion, and so I've also just purchased some extra white bricks for a snow layout. This forum has been a wonderful resource of ideas and inspiration to me and I hope that before long I will be able to post pictures of my own creations.
