Ah, makes sense i guess, there are a few things i edited with them also. Mostly extending and bulking out Onua's hammer weapon. What's your plans for mods with Lewa? True, just thought they'd handle Bionicle more effectively given how they handled the site in the past, granted it had errors and issues originally but the site itself was more interactive than just displaying the characters and products. In a time when they need to introduce Bionicle to a new generation i thought it'd be handled more efficently. Also this; I kind of agree, the deals were all sold out before they went on sale, their were many errors getting the new sets out and the Bionicle release was a mess given the hyped January 1st release and whats worse they apologised solely for the issues on the 5th when the problems have been for two weeks and are still going in places.

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Scarilian replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Chances are the size wont be larger than the Super Star Destroyer. I suppose it depends on how much you enjoy Lego and the brand, i've heard of people buying the entire wave of Star Wars sets and those usually include a few UCS figures. Personally if i do get the set the desire mostly comes from the idea of having a 'perfect set', most the sets nowadays for Marvel focus on figures so i tend to just collect the figures while the rest of the model is never built. As such the Helicarrier would be my 'perfect set' a set that encaptulates all of the MCU, or atleast what i view as the most iconic. Granted the scale will be innacurate, but having a Helicarrier on which to display my Marvel heroes and villain figures is something i've wanted for a long time. I guess its what would be my final big Marvel purchase, in future i'd just purchase the figures from Bricklink, but after the Helicarrier then i would'nt need to get the sets for fairly basic buildings. Odd that a Lego employee would have the instruction booklet... but ok... Going under the belief that this could be factual in order to share thoughts; - Having the control room in minifigure scale makes sense, i like the idea but its an odd room to choose to replicate given it contained windows that would be difficult to replicate in set form - Dont entirely care about a Galaga sticker, but its a nice addition i guess - I'm definitely not a fan of the Microfigures idea, maybe if its in scale with those i would'nt mind it, but i dont collect them so hopefully we dont get them and instead get regular sized figures. -

No problem :P Yeah, here it is for refrence; -
I suppose the Bionicle websites flaws are pushed forward more because its a returning line and the Gen 1 website included aspects such as MNOG and other aspects that make the flaws of the previous site less memorable to fans. As such they are a little more suprised than usual that the Lego websites nowadays are much more flawed.

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

You guys get panicy way too easily xD Yeah, it wont be any other version of the Helicarrier than the MCU version as we've seen the front of it and the Quinjet. We may get figures that are based on a combination of varying aspects such as the Winter Soldier figure though... -
Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Scarilian replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Given all the things going on in AoU they may directly lead into Civil War somehow, so we could see him appear? I believe the 'stripped down helicarrier' in the movie is actually a Quinjet that can turn invisible... unless their is another? -
I was not rude to you, so no need to be incredibly rude to me. If you just choose to start fights then why are you here? Their were multiple conversations going on at the same time about the mask and head and you chose not to reply to any comment by qouting it. As proven by others i was not the only one who mistook your comment, so once again, if you dont clarify then its your own fault. This is a place for discussion not insulting me for pointing out that you should have qouted the comment you were responding to. Which modifications?

WRONG. The mystery summer mask does not have four eyes and neither does the display picture mask. The mystery mask has two eyes and two slits for a nose that show the red. As per the Skull Light; This image with the gold toa does have 4 eyes but its from an entirely different mask/face, the mask/face of the Lord Of Skull Spiders as shown on his printing. Judging from the location the images was got plus the 'play' sign on the front my guess is that it'd be the display image for the video animations for Bionicles Winter wave. Its definitely based on the Winter Wave only though given the Lord Of Skull Spiders eyes on the top right. Mind control is silly when you dont do anything with it. If its mind control then that also implies when the Skull Spider goes onto the face it directly has the ability to tamper with the brain, yet they are knocked off easily. So it weakens the point of them latching onto the face if once they are on the face they can instantly take over the hosts mind before the host can react and yet be knocked off easily without any reprocussions. DV should have been more clear then as i was not the only one to believe he was talking about the masks.

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Scarilian replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
A designer video normally occurs near the sets release in order to convince people to buy it, in february it'll be just available to VIP's before its official release in March. So it could make sense for a designer video to be released then. Given the release it is also possible that a Helicarrier still remains and may appear in Age Of Ultron, as such it could be based on a version we have'nt seen yet OR include a figure that may not have been revealed yet such as if its based on TWS it may include Crossbones in his Civil War outfit. -
Personally that seems a little silly, i got the general idea that when they latch on they can manipulate the body. But having the victim be mind controlled kind of weakens the point of having the Skull Spiders latch onto someone's face. I stopped talking about this when directed to another topic. You should probably do the same. In which case the CGI image is inconsistent as the eyes on the CGI image are more flat while the eyes on 'generic skull spider' are tilted making the eyes and mouth form a 'Y' shape. While the basic elemental heroes need to remain as such to be easily recogniseable to children, the villains have had variations. Which is why it disappoints me that the main three villains of 2015 Bionicle are the Black and Trans-Red/Orange LoSS, the Black and Red Skull Grinder and the Black and Red Makuta. Granted we get occasional variations but most the time we revert back to Black and Red and given they've used that formula so much its no longer what i'd call unique. I understand the meaning behind the different colour schemes, however using very generic colour schemes like black and red so often it ended up weakening the meaning so black and red is no longer a trope that adds power but instead a reminder that i'll have a thousand spare black and CCBS armour pieces to go along with my black and red Bionicle pieces. If the trope is indeed something Lego is aware of then it likely means they'd choose more black and red villains in the future. It also doesnt help that at this stage every black and red design of a Bionicle set has been done except for potentially a multi-armed monster, though i'm pretty sure a combo model of that exists. The point being that if TLG believe the most 'unique' and 'creative' villain in the entirety of their entries was a red and black demonic beast that seems to resemble Makuta from Legends Of Metru Nui then i worry for the future of the new Bionicle sets. Its essentially them telling fans that the most unique and creative villains for the new wave of Bionicle are what we've already had.

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

I was part of that speculation, and also the article states that its speculation. I didnt say it was confirmed, i just said that we'll get pics of what happens on the 17th and 18th. I would'nt be suprised if they had the designer video after the VIP release in February... -
Its a little disappointing that the winning entry for a unique and creative villain is a generic black and red demonic being with wings... In terms of a MOC it's 'alright' but it went overboard with the Greebling and the fact it probably cost about 3-5 times the amount of the 2015 Winter sets to make, seems excessive. Its also a little unfortunate the winner was lucky enough to not only attend NYCC but also be a VIP in order to get the 2015 parts early for the MOC. I just kind of thought the winner would be someone who hadnt had the luck to attend NYCC and someone who would view the golden mask and the 2015 sets as the ultimate prize and not something they could get themselves with spare cash. Yet most the runners up were massively over-complicated MOC's that otherwise were not very creative in terms of being varied from the villains we already had. I know its a bit of a harsh opinion, but seeing that winning entry just makes me realise we're unlikely to get good main villains in the coming years and they'll probably all just be generic black and red sets. So congrats on the winner, but i'm worried what these means for future Bionicle sets if they view that as the best villain design.

The Spider-walker version will more than likely appear in the movie, though i'm not sure about the rest. The rest fit the gimmick of simply having a vehicle with Ultron controlling it... a way of selling Ultron with a car/toy feature. The Spider-walker however feels more like something that actually exists in the movie, given otherwise its just a group of legs walking around... All the rest of the vehicles can function without Ultron... but those Spider-legs seem to need him. Though i would'nt be entirely suprised if they went with a Terminator esque idea that Ultron appears on whatever he controls. -
So... thoughts on the new episode; - The GSR event stuff felt a little heavy handed, the mention of time directly after looking at the Vahi image for example - It feels like rather than going for a simple 'Tahu doesnt rememeber being a Toa' its more like he's forgotten everything reverting to an almost child-like state where the Protectors are his mentors. I get the idea, it just feels very strange to watch You can check it out here given Takanuinuva mentioned the direct link might not work for everyone, here is an alternative; https://www.youtube....h?v=ndJoQdjCeWU

Not read the story in depth so may be wrong about this, but from those sentences it seems like the following was the intention; Each of the biospheres inside the giant robot were intended as a way of saving the inhabitance of their world. By saving their world they didnt mean saving the planet, they meant saving the people/Bionicles. This was a lesson hammered in during the events of Legend Of Metru Nui especially... the Matoran being the most important thing to save. While the biospheres are artificial they contain everything needed to substain life, as such it would'nt be suprising that they would contain mines such as how an ant-farm contains enough dirt so the ants can tunnel. Creative license plays a factor as i'm sure a giant sphere would have been a less impressive reveal than a massive alien robot. In addition if we think about it, their are ways that storing the biospheres in a giant robot makes more sense, for example maybe they were being attacked by actual bio-mechanical giant robots which they based their robot off. In that position they'd want something that could fight back if attacked.

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Scarilian replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
To end the discussion the two women shown in the trailer are believed to be members of the Dora Milaje. Essentially Black Panther's Bodyguards. As you can see they do resemble the comics; True, its more a question of when though... I believe someone previously said March... which would be the same time as the public release of the UCS Helicarrier. -
They convey the basic story of the Toa teaming up with the Protectors to fight the Skull Spiders and get their golden masks... The island includes ancient temples, ruins, carvings and a statue of what may turn out to be something important in later years...

Few things; - Pretty much all the inconsistences and errors can be attributed to the early prototypes and their translations including Bunny Lewa, the Toa and Protectors being the same size. - The Skull Spiders being more robotic can be attributed to avoiding upsetting parents or kids if the comics depicted decapitations of bio-mechanical creatures, hence why the Skull Spiders especially have a much more robotic design. - The Temple in Lewa's area matches the Mask Maker Jungle Temple concept art - The Temple in Kopaka's area seems to be similar to the one seen in the Ancient City - The statue in Gali's area is likely going to be hinted as being a 'great being', or alternatively just something that will be left unexplained Copying the pose is NOT the same as copying the style.

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

I believe the rumours about the Classic Green Goblin set have suggested that it could include Gwen Stacy, Green Goblin and Spider-man in a 'Death Of Gwen Stacy' style setting with a small building. Similar in essence to Doc Ock's Fusion Lab. Though, i would'nt get your hopes up as the rumours have been around a long time. -

Not entirely sure, but if i had to guess i'd say a place to store the Loki Staff and a Jail for Quick Silver to escape from. -
What information did he post, because looking around he hasnt actually posted anything concrete and once again his intentional vagueness means regardless of the outcome you could make a point to him being correct. Also, highlighted a segment to emphasise the issue. If he is choosing to leak information, then he's already ruined that partnership. So once again, why hasnt he provided information that supports him rather than being intentionally vague. If he's intentionally vague so he can 'sometimes' leak things then that seems a little odd, as he's still breaking the confidentiallity. Actually you accused me of lying. Then i proved he wasnt the one who got the names first. The official french names being exactly the same as the English version... :L Skull Warrior sounds like Takadox... just with a bow. Could be interesting though i really dont need any more tr light blue pieces. Skull Slicer sounds odd, rather disappointed via the colour scheme, but could be interesting Skull Basher sounds like an evil Onua, could be good for Moc's Skull Grinder sounds generic... but could be interesting. Disappointed to hear about the Scorpion, expected as much. It seems like a LoSS clone.

I suppose mistakes happen, but its just the wording of Exo-6's comments. It doesnt really seem like a concrete or straight answer. I mean we have one person who claims to have seen tiny images who provided more information than someone who claims to have seen the sets in person. It just seems a little odd how the one who saw tiny images is providing more direct information and information that should/would have been obvious to someone who saw the sets. I mean if he saw prototypes, why didnt Exo-6 say 'Skull Slicer has four arms' or something similar, it just seems odd to me that he didnt give more direct details that Risgrynsgrot did.

Was not really a fan of the Piraka foot, it worked with the Piraka and was a nice new piece at the time but i'm not sure it would work with the current CCBS aesthetic. I am not lying as you proved he did say it originally and if he claimed it was a joke later then that goes to undermine him more than anything else. As mentioned, all his comments are intentionally vague or contradicted later, below are a few examples. - He commented about the similarities to Scorpio from Hero Factory then claimed it was a joke - He claimed that he thought the Mask we saw looked similar to a mask worn by the villain, though didnt say it was the same - He claimed that Tan wasnt impossible, but that isnt saying its certain I'm sure he's claimed other things in the same way. Pretty much everything he has given us has been designed so that it cannot be verified, meanwhile Risgrynsgrot provided more detail and more concise information in several posts than Exo-6 has done in any of his. If anything given what we've seen recently, Exo-6 is either lying or intentionally misleading those who read his posts. As mentioned several pages back, if Exo-6 wants to prove he's actually seen the sets then get him to provide actual information that can be verified. I know you enjoy to hype him as the original source of information, but the truth is he is not the first with this information and has not commited to details. If he doesnt commit to details on the sets then his qoutes cannot be verified, not helped by him releasing information AFTER multiple different sources. Out of all he stated in your 'proof' he has currently been incorrect about the commercial between Gali and the Stone protector. He has also got the names in SEPTEMBER a month or so after the names were in AUGUST and the was leaked in JULY. He was neither the first to provide them nor the earliest, so stop lying and pretending he was the original source.Cannot speak for the Chima Ultrabuilds as i have no interest in tracking down who leaked those first, but he definitely was not the source of the Bionicle leaks for 2015. He neither provided the names nor the images before anyone else. (I know TTV were not the direct official source of the leaks and they gained them from other places, however the videos were easier to use as proof than tracking down the original leakers. Though David Thompson was mentioned as one of the leakers on Eurobricks in August for the set names)

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Scarilian replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Actually that was me, and it was an estimate as we get the AoU trailer on the 12th so we'd probably see official Marvel Lego images sometime shortly after that. I mean we saw the Ant-Man trailer on the 6th, the AoU trailer on the 12th so it makes sense the Helicarrier reveal would be mid-January around the 15th-18th. Though thats nothing concrete obviously True, but that was mostly due to the films release and its relationship to the other sets. The Sea Cow contained several figures that were only available in other expensive sets. The only way to get all the main cast otherwise was to buy a majority of the sets. Delaying the reveal of the Sea Cow made people jump to buy the other sets in the same way that not revealing the 'double decker bed' got a majority to buy the Sea Cow. Essentially the Sea Cow had movie importance (to an extent) while also containing a majority of the main cast. Most licensed sets nowadays are brought for the figures. If they had revealed the cheaper Double Decker Couch then many would pass on the Sea Cow and get the very cheap Double Decker Couch with many figures (Or just buy all the Winter 2015 Lego movie sets)
