  1. Its not going to be the Mask Of Ultimate Power, the mask here is literally a Skull... i dont see how its being confused with the Mask Of Ultimate Power. Their is no reason that we'd have seen the Mask Of Ultimate Power with it six pronged design being shown in the animations if we dont get it as that shape in the Summer. It'll be with Skull Grinder... as it makes sense to advertise the Mask from the most expensive villain set (Mask Maker Vs Skull Grinder) The line is confirmed for three years... three years, three main masks... We'll get Creation this year with the Mask Maker (Ekimu), Control next year probably with Makuta and the Mask Of Ultimate Power will be saved for 2017 probably with Takanuva. I say Takanuva because the mask has the same six pronged style to the Avohkii, plus Takanuva being the second most popular figure of Bionicle, added to the idea of the Mask Of Time and Time Travel theories i have.
  2. Nobody should buy a Lego set for display only... Personally this might be my first UCS set but it depends on whether they made it even have features that could be considered worthy, otherwise i could just buy the plastic Helicarrier toy :L I kind of expect it to have Banner's Lab and the bridge... but other than that i dont think it'd have much --- Either way we'll get pics soon i hope...
  3. If its anything like the Lego Ideas set then it'll probably have Nick Fury, Agent Coulson, Maria Hill and Black Widow.
  4. I feel the mask revealed is likely that of the 'Skull Grinder' from the Mask Maker Vs Skull Grinder set. It'd make sense to advertise a mask from the most expensive set.
  5. Nope if it was based on the MCU version it would have both the eye mask and mouth mask on one side with just the mouth mask on the other. If it was based on comic version then granted the one side of the face makes sense, but the other side shouldnt have the mask. In this case they combined two versions of the figure, neither of which actually really works with the other. I cant see for example him wearing the eye mask one time then switching to wear the mask another without the eye mask. The costume is also once again a blend between the comics and the movie version, which creates a version that doesnt really fit with either of the versions. As such i would'nt feel justified in displaying this with the MCU figures or with the comic based figures, as it would'nt match with either.
  6. The head figure with the eye mask should have had the mouth covering piece also. Otherwise it just looks silly as he never had the glasses on without the eye piece.
  7. The Ultron Sentry and Sentry Officer look nice, will definitely be using this as an army builder set. Ultron Prime does look rather odd, not sure why... maybe i just need to see it in figure form better... Ultimate Ultron seems menacing enough, but would have preferred a more metallic silver than just a grayish silver. Need a better shot of Ultron MK1, but at the moment this looks like the weakest version of Ultron. ---- Get to see the UCS Helicarrier in January i hope I doubt we'd see any of the SHIELD characters other than Coulson appear in the sets this year. Given they dont appear to have a role in the films. The Carnage set appears to be based on the animated Spider-man series. If we do get SHIELD characters it might be with the Civil War sets in 2016 if we get them.
  8. I can see them recoloring this piece for the hands; http://cache.lego.com/media/bricks/5/2/6037408.jpg http://brickset.com/parts/6037408
  9. Personally would prefer normal sized figures of the Sinister Six... maybe Big Fig's at max... the Brick-built is just too out-of-scale. Not to mention the brick-built is also a very hefty price.
  10. Didnt buy them, yet know the codes; 204-00-1470 - Unknown 204-00-1471 - Unknown 204-00-1472 - Tahu 204-00-1473 - Unknown 204-00-1474 - Unknown 204-00-1475 - Lewa
  11. Helicarrier's release is slated as March 1st. Apparently we get an official first look in January...
  12. So why in that case did Lego harp on the idea of reducing the number of pieces in that design if they had no intention of ever making it? Thats adding hope to a project even with the intention of saying 'no' because its similar to a project in development, it would just be pure cruelty on the side of Lego. Wow, incredibly rude
  13. They just dont want to come out and say its a continuation as that may weaken the GSR event if confirmed, they probably want it as a suprise.
  14. If i am correct it reached the required amount a while ago and has been in the review stage since September 8th, when they announce the sets at the unvieling in Janaury it will have been worked on for several months prior. Chances are high it is the Ideas UCS Helicarrier and that it'll be officially unvieled in January for a March release, i doubt Lego would work on a UCS Helicarrier set and then not claim it to be the Lego Ideas set that got popular at the same time.
  15. So... if the Vahi is important then there are two options; - The Vahi is everwhere because its actually been drawn there (meaning that its been shown in that universe before meaning its the future) - The Vahi is everywhere as an easter egg and isnt actually drawn there (meaning that its a hint to the over-arcing plotline and its the past) As for the idea of how it connects, it seems the idea is the following; - Toa are summoned via the Temple Of Time (Time Travel) to this part of the timeline to fix something that wasnt meant to happen (The death of Ekimu) - If its part of the timeline in the past or future then the GSR event will be that this is the past or future - The comparisons to the Star Trek reboot film series seems to imply it is more likely the past than the future - The Mask Of Ultimate power being the only mask shown in shadows and the only mask with red eyes seems to hint towards that being the origins of Teridax. That seems to be a common misconception, it was more hinted that they come when the planets align. Not from the individual planets but simply when the energy from the planets aligning summons them. If the Vahi is important and the link between the two realms then it could be possible that the planets aligning somehow provides it with more power, enough to transport the toa from the old timeline to this timeline (likely the distant past or distant future)
  16. The only villains will likely be; it'll likely be the Guardians Of The Galaxy arriving on Earth, small fight will ensue between them and the Avengers, then they'll team up against Thanos. Part Two will be where the Heroes call for help to mount a final battle against Thanos resulting in the Inhumans coming to help along with several of the other heroes who were not members of the Avengers. As for sets i feel at that stage they'll probably have increase the number of sets to probably 10-12 in total (covering Infinity War Part 1 and Infinity War Part 2) as they are released a year apart. If its the Lego Ideas UCS Helicarrier as the official January unvieling suggests, then it'll likely have four figures, the same four listed on the Ideas page; - Agent Coulson (Exclusive) - Maria Hill (Exclusive) - Nick Fury - Black Widow Though i could see them throwing in a figure like Bruce Banner. Given it was described as being the size of 10221 Super Star Destroyer, i doubt they would include any less than four figures... but part of me wonders if they'd go as far as including the whole Avengers team... i doubt it.
  17. I believe it could potentially link in with Iron Man 3 where the introduced the concept of a missing area of the brain and that humans all have the potential to evolve beyond themselves. This linked with the Agents Of Shield/Inhumans idea of 'what they become' - seems to imply that it unlocks some sort of primal code in their DNA. The Mind Gem might be able to do this also... though it may be the Mind Gem itself contains Terrigen mist
  18. Seeing as a few others are discussing the Helicarrier figures. My guess is the following; - Agent Coulson - Maria Hill - Nick Fury - Black Widow Possibly throwing in Bruce Banner... though i doubt we'll get more than 4-5 figures sadly. If we get anymore then i'll be suprised. Well that is also possible, i just refrained from that idea as i feel introducing a about a dozen Inhumans while fitting in Quick Silver and Scarlet Witch may be a tad difficult. While granted in the MCU Quick Silver and Scarlet Witch will likely be classed as Inhumans, i dont know if they'd be in the film. Maybe could see it happening to get more hype for the film, but its debateable. They'll likely appear in Infinity War Part 1 before that so yeah ><
  19. Still no leaks of the Hellicarrier? I know the official unvieling is January (Lego Ideas) but i really dont want to wait that long still >< They tend to remain a pair, so i doubt they'd be involved in Civil War as they'd make one side have a far superior advantage... next appearance of them would probably be Infinity War... Hopefully its the MCU version and easy to get. The main idea of Civil War is that neither side is the villains, though the two groups follow under Tony Stark and Captain America. The Tony Stark side was villified throughout the comics yet was viewed as the heroes at the end... so not entirely sure. According to rumours we may see Thunderbolt Ross manipulating Tony Stark to join the governmental side, so i suppose he is the closest to a true villain if the rumours are true.
  20. Yeah, chances are i'm going to get a couple of the Iron Man Vs Ultron sets and then get the rest of the figures i need from Bricklink. We'll see :P Yeah, that was my thought also; - Black Panther with the Civil War sets - Doctor Strange with the Infinity War Part 1 sets - Captain Marvel with the Infinity War Part 2 sets Yeah, will either do that or Bricklink them, depends on the cost xD Bricklink is your friend :P Yeah... none of that is necessary for Civil War to happen as a film.
  21. I feel that Civil War seems more likely than Doctor Strange for a 2016 film-based set... so we'll probably see Civil War with a Black Panther figure. Ragnarok i doubt will get sets, maybe 3-4 if we are very lucky, but i get the feeling Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 is the more likely 2017 film to get sets. I get the feeling we'll see sets for the following; - Avengers (2012) - Iron Man 3 (2013) - Guardians Of The Galaxy (2014) - Avengers 2 (2015) - Ant-Man (2015) - Civil War (2016) - Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 (2017) - Avengers Infinity War Part 1 (2018) - Avengers Infinity War Part 2 (2019) My desire for a MOC is to recreate this poster with the Ultron figures (Or have a bunch of Ultron's swarming the UCS Helicarrier)
  22. I really hope so... Wonder if they'd split it into a 2018 wave and a 2019 wave of Infinity War sets...
  23. True, i believe the minifigure line was already revealed though so that limits the possibilities. Either way, i suppose toy fair will hold the answers. Look forward to seeing the monsters regardless.
  24. Well we heard most these rumours beforehand and now we're seeing pictures of a headless horseman, one of the more icconic monsters of Scooby Doo. Plus we've seen the headgear that appears to be from the Electric Monster... so not really sure how it can be unconfirmed at this stage :L Cant find the working links but both are featured in this video.
  25. Given this is practically confirmed as Scooby Doo now (Listed below in the spoiler) surely the thread should be re-titled as i doubt we'll have multiple Scary or Horror themed lines running at the same time Oh as for the two other sets, given the pieces we've seen we can go under the belief that they are probably;
