Thanks Dapper, I would not of done it if I hadn't seen your and got motivated to build it. Ever since I got the UCS Starfighter I always wanted to build a maxi astromech but dint have many ideas running through my mind untill I saw yours.

Hi guys Ive been working on my entry over the weekend, put in over 24 hours work into this so far and its not finished (finding parts is killing me , I need to sort my elements out better). My work is not the best but is getting better with each build. Here is a sneek peek at whats to come. Just a test shot to see if the lighting a feel is right. It shouldnt be hard to guess what is going on in the rest of the scene. Thanks guys for the C & C, I will try to get around to making some mods on this when I get time. Currently I'm working on my ROJ CB. I will try to shorten the feet and middle leg. I might try another approch to the body as well.

I joined the same way, looking for Star Wars leaks and was linked from TBB. I was apprehensive that the web site is called Eurobricks but after looking at the community I quickly relized that it is a world wide site. Keep the members comming. Ive joined over a year ago, Im here nearly every day and make almost 1.5 posts a day trying to contribute to the community. Ive just latley got into MOCing and show casing my builds on EB. With out EB my MOC's would only be hiding in the corner of my spair room at home, now it got exposure to the whole world.

Im also curios to find out what the mistery fig is???

WOW at that price I would not let these lots go. I have alot of bulk lego and I have never thought about them smelling but im am a smoker (only outside) so I wouldnt be able to smell it anyway. I would at least quickly clean the lots especally is your going to let your kids paly with them. I can resit holding onto elements with my lips when trying to find parts. Its a no briner that the Lego will com in contact with kids mouths, how eles do they prise those pesky single studs apart when they bite all their nails off.

Yeah I dind't think of the hair, that hair style was sooo out dated by the time ROJ came out . This would make this simple sceen more accurite. Chrome lightsaber hilts would look great too if you got em.

I might play around with the body as well. I just want to keep it to the current colour scheem so part selection may be a problem, but who knows waht I might come up with. I dont have a great selection of dark red elements.

Thats a shame if they are inded dark brown as they look. I was hoping to the black or dark metalic grey like the current supper battle droids.

Not bad Doc, nice to see you still take a diffret build approc to this simple droid and use some snot instead of flat tiles. There are two holes created from the SNOT building techneiqes. He could stick and eye stalk in ther eand convert it to a giant mouse droid. That would fill one of the holes .

When I was building it I had a small hasbro R2 fig to work off. The proportions are almost correct but I think that the thin circular legs makes them look too tall. I want to work on them and change them as well. I would have like to get the legs and foot pivit like the real droid but couldn't think of anything in that scale. Comparrison pic

After seeing Dapper-D2's astromech droid found heremade from the UCS Obi Starfigter head it gave me insparation to finnaly work on mine. Here it is. I tyryed to get a colour scheem going on this driod while trying to keep the proportions and scale right. Fount 3/4 side view Back view Frount view 2 legs, ready to interface into a control pannel Side view, 2 legs, ready to interface into a control pannel Its not bad and if I get time between my ROJ community build I will make a few adjustments. I wanted to get the legs a bit wider. C & C welcome.

You can always ask for the parts your after on the Buy, Sell, Traid, find thread on the fourm . Many people here are willing to traid or sell parts.

I love the hum of a Lego engine. This is very impressive.

Wow this is an impressive town with alot going on around the streets. I didn't think much of the first few pics but it is really comming to gether with some nice buildings and things going on everywhere. Keep it up and i'm sur eit will take up the whole room before you know it.

Outstanding smooth clean looking interior, it looks very expensive inside. I aslo love the window frame ledges on the out side of the building.

NIce , all it need is a small fire place and a light brick to give thst warm glowing feeling that this cute shalet gives. I cant help feeling the stable roof is a little low apart from that grat job. Good luck in the contest

This is a very nice potental for a real Lego set. Im thinking you have a grat chance of winning the comp. The building looks like it came stright from the winter village and with the adition of the bridge, stream and the sled dogs makes up a lovely set.

That is a nice christmas dislapy under your tree, looks like Santas come early. But when he dose come where is he going to put the presents? I have always wanted to do a traditional train around the tree as my partner is from a european background and her family used to do this.

I love that the first one with the highway patrol guy, he looks awsome with his broud brim hat.

Nice, I havent seen much Simpsons lego at all. Ithis is a nice clean looking building and represented well. He could put a large two peice rock and a chain and leave it out the frount.

Nice speeder and in sure its not as slow as a slug . I like the colour of the origianl build, the grey, dark tan and dark bule look awsome to gether.
