Your miniland modles aren't that bad Doctor but you deffently have a nack for building those fighters and starships with great accuraccy. Its hard getting the shapes you want in minilad scale.

I saw a TV ad for KFC in Australia slaming McDonalds scorcher berger saying that they cut the chicken down and peice it back together. They show us this on the ad by using Lego like building blocks of a chicken being deconstructed them put back together. You can check it out with this link Its not exactly Lego but I get that warm feeling inside when I watch it.

If I got my opartner Lego for Christmas I dont think she would be all that inmpressed. We have so much already and she thinks we dont need any more. Anyways I have a silver braclet that I'm giving here and I put it into a old small Lego box with a couple of ellements in a zip bag to give the sound effect of Lego in a box. When she grabs and shakes it she will think O Lego yeah . But when she finnaly opens it and notices an open Lego box with her braclet inside she will be very pleased. I'm evil arn't I

Nice station. I like the ticket window and the news paper seller. As mentioned it would be great to get some commuters and maybe varie the current minifig heads so the have some indeviduallity, apart from that good job.

This display looks awsome. Even though it is mostly build fromkits it still looks great together. I like the hill the minifigs are sking down and the christmas tree made of palm leaves, that looks fantastic. Keep up the motivatio and keep adding to the display and soon it will be your own custome winter village.

That is an wasome custome creation. You have re-created this well with all the details packed in nicely.

Its not much but it more than I've got at the moment, I not happy with what I've made so far. To make this better I would put studded bricks under their feet so they are not sunken intoi the floor and try and put a back drop in on the pic, even a white piece of paper to black ou tthe backgroung. IMO this will make this simple sceen a little more asthetic.

I might have to cheack it out. I bought the Star Wars Lego minifig app for my partneres iPhone and this is a handy little app. Im sure the Unofficial LEGO Minifigure Catalog will be better as it will expand across more than just the Star Wars universe.

I finnaly gave it ago and didn't give up in frustration. I bag built the day 12 SW advent callander T47 speeder. It was not hard at all but just wanted to do it. I have bag built all my minifis so far from the callandar as they are doubles for me and will keep them sealed. Gunray is sad as he cant sit on his chair .

Im sure alot of people miss out on this one as well as when I go to the newsagents they still have nearly a box full of them. I asked what they are doing with them and they are still waiting to hear from Fairfax to send them back or give them away. I would get into your local newsagents and ask how you could aqurie some minifigs. I got two for free at one newsagent. It doesent hurt to ask.

Personally I would flatten all your boxes for starage, zip lock all of your sets sepratly, get a folder for the instructions, buy large storage containers and lable the box with what sets yor have in there. You can orgainse by theme, year or set number. It sounds like your waisting alot of space inside the boxes but it dose not seem like your pushed for storage space. I have way too much to keep stored in the origianl box so this is why I've done it my way. The foam dose sound alright to keep the boxes stiff so they dont colapse.

Hay all I just remembered while I was @ Big W on Saturday night I saw that they had Star Wars kids watches. The first time I have seen them in Australia and in a Retail store. So all those years of complaining that other contries get permotional amd cool Lego products is starting top pay off. I found @ Big W a week earlier the lightup Darth Vader tourch. Over the weekend Sydney sideres got free minifigs with the paper like the UK. Last year for the December Lego mag we accually got Lego in it . I every survey that I take with Lego I complain that us Aussie's always missout on these giveaways and pollybags, now it seem that a little of is starting to tricle through.

Its gone from Amazon.it and .fr has it for $374 pounds still, dang, I missed it.

I just got back from the news agents and One had no papers and a hole box of minifigs left. The lady sold them to me for $2 a pop and I bought 10. I went to another newsagent and they gave me two for free, they had more but they wanted to give them to their suupliers and delivery guys first them he said come in and he will give the rest away. I stress to everybody that they take a trip to thir local newsagent and see if they have any stcok left as they will be sending them back in a day or two. It seems funny that some shops give them away and other say you need the coupon. Any way its free Lego. Now I have alot of little Lego goodies to stick into the stockings for son, nease, nefews, relitives. Its also much better feeling for what your got when your not in the shop with the clerk looking over your sholder thinking waht it that guy doing? Keeping them sealed so the kids can open them but I wanted to know what I got if I wanted to keep them so I bag felt them to confirm.

I love the building and the internal rooms. I have a very museum feel to it. Love some of those custom Egyptian artifacts.

Nice simpe deisg. I love the use of the parts for the sphinx's ear.

Yeaterday I bought 5 pappers and got 12 minifigs, $10 for 12 minifigs = 83c each = Very happy. I went down to another newsagent today (Monday) and they need to give the left overs back to Fairfax but he said if I brought my copons down he would give me minifigs for them . Origianlly I bought 5 papers and they didnt take to coupons so I will reuse them for another 5 minifigs. Just ask your local newsagent and see if they still have any. Im also going in to the local shops at lunch to see if there are any other newsagents that have any left. Good luck.

Very nice LDD. I love the brick built sails and the two story internals. I also like some of your custom minifigs, you have done a grat job on this creation.

Thats awsome news that I dind not know that was happening. Must ask the newsagent what they are going to do with all the left over minifigs? Time to stock up. Finally we get a deal close to the UK's paper givaway, collectable minigis are not as good as a pollybag but Im not complaining about free Lego .

The astromech looks well dressed in his suite, the bowtie is a nice touch.

This bike look mad. It looks like there isn't anywhere it cant go with those treds. I also like the radio the guys got, the steering wheel makes a great antenna.

Man that is one good looking UCS landspeeder and much better that the links posted above by Fallenangel IMO. I like the front end, cockpit with controls and the detailing on the damaged engine. Also that Maxi droid looks awsome. I would love to see better pics of it as well. I had the idear of making one of these but dont quite have the right parts tough. Im sure with some better part seclection ( maybe a bricklink order) you could really get that thing looking awsome.
