  1. nice to see it is mostly layout worthy, do you have a video of the layout?
  2. i dont think there is any other purist alternative unfortunately
  3. interesting mods, i also posted some pictures of the gearing for the spiral drive as well not sure if i posted them here
  4. @Ankoku im not sure if you noticed but in the 2012 video the ball picker has 8 stud axles with stoppers on them. i presume this is to stop the balls from dropping
  5. @Ankoku how are you going with your ball factory? have you been able to get it operational yet?
  6. @Berthil i found this in my bricksafe folder which is a file for the large ball hopper that is on akiyukis version of the ball factory https://bricksafe.com/files/gbcbuilder/akiyuki/akiyuki ball surpply module.lxf
  7. @Courbet the links for the bsx files for the type 2 train dont work. do you still have the files?
  8. i have found a video of one of these replica motors in action
  9. @Courbet fantastic work, i have updated the main post with a link to the instructions,
  10. @Berthil i have been building this amazing machine and so far everything is working ok, but im having trouble figuring out how the conveyor at the end works. i noticed you changed to the large tracks, in my one the balls keep catching upon entering the pickup part of the belt and two balls try to force themselves in.
  11. @Ankoku i noticed the same thing when building mine about a month ago. , i think the instructions for the fork module have a similar error
  12. akiyuki has a new channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8DTkYBYxxvRF6O3AXqfNjA/videos
  13. i dont follow the standard anyway so i will proberly run it slower than that but i will have to make sure the module i put before it is the fast ball sorter
  14. thats the reason im thinking he did it that way as well how well does this module perform in a layout? does it get rid of enough balls for the input hopper to not overflow? im looking to display this module at next years brickvention in jan
  15. the unloader at the end requires it to grab at the bottom of the container
  16. fantastic work on the container transporter Courbet, it seams to work well. i think it has to do with the fact the containers need to fit under the the loader part for the scissor lift
  17. fantastic work, i would really like to build this one, i also have the old style motors too, the thing that worries me is that is need so many yellow shock absorbers which are expensive
  18. fantastic work, i look forward to seeing it finished
  19. is it built with new or used parts, and would you sell it without the motor?
  20. i have been talking to this guy alot on his videos, he is on these forums as @Innocity i think
  21. @Courbet and @Ankoku heres the photos from akiyuki https://bricksafe.com/pages/gbcbuilder/akiyuki/container-transporter-gbc-
  22. @Courbet in other news i have received detailed photos from akiyuki about the container transporter and @Ankoku about the stuck ball lifter, i have just rebuilt mine with brand new parts and i have had no issues with the instructions.
  23. @Ankokuim building the wheel and stair module and im already noticing differences between the instructions and akiyukis version, like the cup to cup , they seem to be reliability improvements.
