  2. this would be the modification i did to the type 1 train car, i changed the m motor to an l motor because the m one didnt have enough power to run the crane loader.

  7. a user named @dunes has done the complete module, which im sure he would share to you if you pm him, i never finished my version of this module as he finished it first.
  8. I had the crane loader on display this past weekend, overall it ran quite well apart from the last 2 or so hours when the chain snapped because it was catching on the liftarm Im very surprised as to how well it ran and as an experiment i had one train built to the latest akiyuki design using the L motor and better bracing and the other built to the instructions. the M motor one would ran for a while and then slip in the bevel gearing, but the L motor one ran the whole time with no issues and plenty of power. here is a video of the whole layout.
  9. i took some footage of the modified cup to cup type 2 that was in the gbc layout, as you can see it lowers the top cup by half a stud allowing the ball to transfer better, @RohanBeckett could you explain any other changes you have done?
  10. nice, after i finish most of the akiyuki ones, i wont be building anymore
  11. i built 12 akiyuki modules last year, and this is one im building this year along with a few others, last year was also my 10th year of doing gbc, i plan to finish off the full akiyuki project with the berthil rainbow wave, double bucket and ball shooter marble run. i also have the tilting ladder one from @FernandoQ as its akiyuki style with output connector and the steering cup.

  22. @Blakbird, @Courbet, @Lego_GBC_NL and anyone else who has built the crane loader, mine keeps breaking the long chain the moves the cams on the slider piece, when i move it by hand there is very minimal friction on it, what parts should i check for friction?
