I prefer smaller, homier towns myself. I like them to resemble my area. It is peaceful and compact. Everything as far as shopping goes is one one road then just lots of houses and parks.

Yeah this would look great as a backyard item. I have a few houses it would go quite well with. I think I will be getting this one! This is true. I guess since it is on sale buying a few sets would be great. I can interchange some of the items to make them blend for a few different scenes. Thanks for sharing this. I will look over your post on the set. I have always enjoyed tree houses, building them and playing in them as a kid. Brings me back! haha That is what I was thinking. There are a lot of great pieces that can be used for many different things in this set and it is small so I wont be too overwhelmed! Last time I got a $100 set I had no idea where to even begin! Kid and adult friendly sounds great to me! I used to buy big sets but have since downsized and buy smaller sets so I can put full use to all the pieces :)

Yes the micro scales. I had no idea how pricey they were and the sets I want went up a lot! Wow. I guess these are worth getting as they get released.
-
Love this. I always thought this was one of the most unique places of all the super heroes. I would love to see you do more!

So I heard they will be releasing more for summer 2015. I am interested in getting all the sets that have been released but I have such a hard time finding them. When I do, they are so over priced. I would love to get all 4 sets for $100 if I can. Anyone know where I can get all the sets on retail or sale price?

I am not much of a Harry Potter fan but I do enjoy castles and I love this! You did a fantastic job on the looks (from what I could remember) and I love the open back style. Reminds me of them old doll houses.

I would love to expand my DC collection. I have a few younger cousins who has LOADS of lego sets there were going to just give away or donate. I am not sure if they did it yet or not but I would love to go through it all and see what I can find. I know they have some of the first sets in that collection. It just sucks they are all opened! Sorry about that. I did refer to character sets though, not just general legos.

I would love to see them make an updated version to the classic games. Keep them side scrolling but just with today's graphics. I want to get a Wii U but I am waiting on a few more games before I get one. I know there are tons already but I want to make sure I will play the thing and not waste money.

I forgot about Catch 22. Really enjoyed that one. Also, I never saw any Dragon Tattoo movies. I plan on watching them real soon! I remember seeing that movie and thinking "This will be a classic" just like the Nightmare Before Christmas. I also enjoyed James & the Giant Peach though I know this is completely unrelated. lol

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham (Video Game Discussion)
bitbang replied to The Joker1's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I have yet to get this game and would like to. Was it as good as 1 & 2?? I really enjoyed those and now I see this one is only $30 at most places so I will be saving a good amount of money. -
No one was sure what sets I would have liked so I ended up getting a few gift cards for places that sell Legos. I will be getting them in January :)

How was everyone's Christmas? I enjoyed mine. It was nice and peaceful though it was raining really bad on Christmas Eve. We had a huge storm pass through. So strange it being in the 50's on Eve.

You have to know what sets to buy and where to sell them. I have gotten sets with the intent to sell and ended up keeping them because I wouldn't make much over a $20 profit. I figured it was best to just wait a long while. Sets go up way more over time. Give it a few years for the sets that aren't selling.

I will be organizing all my loose lego pieces later today. I got some nice storage units at a craft store last night. Early spring cleaning :D

I like this! I actually have cheese ravioli on Christmas day (Italian tradition) so it isn't too far off from Pizza... Though I did have that on Christmas Eve. haha I just how small and compact this is. Reminds me of the small pizza shops in New York.

++ This tree house set ++ I would like to know if anyone else has gotten one. I just saw it was marked down on Walmart. I would love to get more city/home type lego sets and since I have a Walmart gift card, I am temped to get this one but I want to know if it is a good set in your opinion and what other sets it would go great with. I want to build a whole scene for my game room in the basement.

I love stand up comedy but I feel like the comics I am used to have gone stale and I would love to find some new ones. I would love some recommendations from anyone who also enjoys stand up.
-
If you did, what did you get? I was tempted to get a few for myself but because money was tight this season, I had just enough to get gifts for everyone else. I did get a few gift cards I can use for sets but I am not sure if I want to wait till the new sets start rolling out or get one or two from this year. I do enjoy all the DC and Marvel ones as well as the character themed ones like the Simpsons.
-
They have so many characters that are well know that I can't really see them not making one if they continue the set. I can't recall the number of characters but all the regular ones are sure to have mini figures.

Today I worked, cleaned, and enjoyed a good hot cup of holiday stress. LOL Am I the only one who gets all stressed out this time of year?

Anyone know some good minecraft servers that have a good amount of users on them but it isn't overwhelming? I would like to get into playing again but the server I was on has since been shut down.
-
I am more into DC than marvel so I don't know all of the characters shows. But from the ones I do know, I think you did a great job and used a lot of pieces in a very creative fashion.
-
The name of the thread threw me off! LOL This is fantastic! What made you think to build it? I love the detailing and how realistic it looks in shape and size.

I am a huge fan of miniature house models. I absolutely dig this one! The detail on the outside made me like it but then I saw the inside! Everything about the inside it so neat and detailed. I loved the little kitchen and bathroom areas. Great job!
