Looks pretty good. Both have the pixelated look and I love it.

You've captured the lines superbly. The colors on it are spot on and all the curves look great.

A fitting tribute to a fine steel masterpiece.

Very good looking. The lines match well and the stickers are applied with precision. Even the unadorned lines are nice.
-
Nicely done. That is some serious overhand on the R40 curve though.

Very nice. Well executed, blending the various elements together to make it look right.

Well done. Very iconic and easy to tell what it is. Amazing what can be done in small sizes.

Nice GE locomotive. You've done well with it in 8 wide.

Have you tried some of these: https://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=43710&name=Wedge%204%20x%202%20Triple%20Left&category=[Wedge]#T=C The length might be long, but it's a thought.

Nice looking set. Plenty of options all around for various layouts. The top color stripe changing between cars is nifty too.

Great MOC. Lots of detail all around and very creative ideas on how to solve the numerous issues the real design presented. -
MOCs: Diesel-era rolling stock from New England
Feuer Zug replied to MaineBrickFan's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Very nice array of rolling stock. Combined, I can already visualize the manifest train chugging through the Maine countryside in the early part of the diesel era. -
Good looking EMD. The colors really stand out.

Cute little ship. Benny seems to be enjoying himself.

Nice cathedral. Good details and I like how you did the rose window.

Great looking town. Lots of action going on and plenty of details.

By swapping over to a L motor, you can go with straight gearing comparatively, keeping the torque, but increasing the speed. Also, I would suggest going flanged driver, blind driver, flanged driver, and blind driver over your current setup if possible. It will help prevent binding in the corners of regular LEGO track. If you are using ME track, then you should be fine.

The radiator grid mounting on the side forced me to a maximum height, one connection per port, on the IR receiver. Thus, I wind up spinning both dials on the remote to make it go. Not the greatest solution, but it works. This locomotive is going to be all about pulling freight. I currently have a string of 4 MOC TTX well cars along with a mix of official LEGO wagons from the trains I already purchased. Right now, it can pull 10 wagons around my layout pretty well, with only a small reduction in speed through the corners and on the uphill segment.
