  1. Actually, that's not a bad idea. They can be a default character to be thrown in (at least, to the appropriate sets.) Like my problem with the clones, I have way too many variants, and not enough generic soldiers.
  2. ^Yeah, $105 is a lot to spend in one store visit. I will definitely buy Pohatu and Lewa first (As they are my favs), likely as soon as they are released. From there, I will branch out to the other Toa/Defenders. However, I may skip on the LOSS......from what I can see, his design is lame. (By the way, what is < that? A grotesque claw?)
  3. That was perfect! Bravo, Chro!!
  4. Tahu, Kopaka, and Onua are $20? Noooooo! Now the entire team will be $105!! UGH!! Well, time to plan out: I need all the Toa, I would like the Defenders and SS, and I still need to buy Star Wars sets next year. Why does Lego hate me.......
  5. Yeah, thirteen is too much to hope for. Likely, it will just be Tahu, since he is he most iconic Bionicle character.
  6. Oh, that makes sense why they did the wave this year: they had to make way for Rebels! So does that mean that Rebels will get a huge summer wave, to make way for an Episode VII based winter 2016? (We are thinking so far into the future....too far.)
  7. Oh......I know that this was stated a while back, but I didn't know that Cloud City isn't even a real rumor right now. That is actually great......it'll alleviate the stress on my wallet! I am almost 100% sure that the exclusive will be ROTS based, since next year it the decade anniversary. They can't just......ignore it completely; can they?
  8. ^Well of course they shouldn't repeat it. We need a fresh, new story, with new twists and new adventures. Maybe they can make us think that they are living in a big robot, then reveal that it is really an island...... And there is 0 chance that Onua will be female: look at those shoulders!
  9. ^Yes. The only problem with this one (aside from cut-off leg printing) is that the mouth is too wide. I would take it any day, though, over the Luny Tunes they're selling us. And Tariq J, Jek-14 Stealth Fighter was only $50? I got it for my awhile back as a gift, but returned it, and it said that it was $100!! Check ToysRUs.......that was a rip-off; I'm glad that I returned it! (I know TRU usually does a $5 mark up, but $50? Well, the person who bought it for me bought it at Target for $50, so I basically got an extra free $50 when I returned it to TRU.......)
  10. I like some CW stuff, but none of it is "drop-everything-to-buy-this" level. I usually like PT stuff (depending on what it is), and the Microfighters next year actually look cute. Maybe, if I have some extra cash, I'll pick up a few.....But, order of importance: 1) UCS Slave I 2) T-16 3) Shadow Troopers 4) ITT 5) Hailfire *Note that I did not include Cloud City. I am hoping it is not made, so that next year can be cheap compared to the $700 this year.
  11. ^Yeah, I love the whole "We live inside of a robot?" twist. We had always thought that they were just living on an island, and they were going to reawaken a spirit, not a 20 mile tall robot. It was so unexpected, and really, that is what they story needed at that point. Also, ^^CabooseBM, are you serious about Onua being female? Yeah, and while they're at it, Lego will make Tahu Toa of Ice. Certain things were established by the original continuity, and basic things like gender need to be kept. I mean, do you want to see a really strong, muscular lady, rather than the elegant Gali? Sidenote: I always thought that Lewa was a girl, until I re-watched MoL a few months ago. I have no clue how I missed that......
  12. ^My guess is that they are fixing the Rebel stormies.....maybe they are making the mouth less steep, and the printing less accentuated. It is possible that they only had early artwork of the new Stormie designs to work off of, and the accentuated design was an early design for the show. Because I know for a fact that the mouth is not that steep: Look at this. The Lego minifig has tiny little eyes, and that mouth way too steep compared to the TV show. Is it supposed to be steep, compared to the OT version? Yes; just not THAT MUCH! And don't even get me started on the armor......this minifig looks like a completely different type of soldier! I just hope that they fix the Rebel stormie to look more OT, or just stick with OT.
  13. I didn't mean to sound disgruntled with the prices; in fact, I was going to say that it is cheaper than previous years have been for me. That's all. I actually think that a lot of these sets are reasonably priced. I just meant it as a way to say, "This is what I'll be buying; how about you?" I didn't want it to sound angry.
  14. ^The AAT is very likely a buy for me. I actually love the set; it captures the feel of the ship and is fairly close in detail and size (though it is small), but I don't like Episode I that much. However, I have already changed my game plan: I am thinking of getting the T-16, Shadow Troops. ITT, AAT, and Hailfire, bringing me to a total of $105.
  15. ^^Well, I know that the Battle Droids feature a new arm. Look at their right arm; they are bent, but still allow for them to hold a gun regular. And the Hailfire droid must have a new minifig, since their is a preliminary figure on the box. Maybe these are just not finished? ^The new guns aren't a big deal. They only appear in BPs, so as long as they don't replace the real blasters, I'm fine. We usually get extra guns in sets anyway. And I am very curious as to how the Rapid Shooters work. Apparently, Lego has a lot of confidence, since they are appearing in other themes too.
  16. I actually love that idea; it can really work out. Basic life=basic powers, and more civilized life and advanced settings means more advanced powers.
  17. The T-16 will be approximately $25-$30 in the US. And I think that it is a great deal. Also, the AAT will be worth it for the new battle droids, and those delicious new slopes in tan. I will probably buy it, then part it out. (Which is really rare for me to do.) ^^^Yeah, someone must have really, really liked the Microseries. It is such an odd choice.......
  18. ^They are only trying to add playability, but they don't even look secure. That's good, since they can be taken right off. But now that you bring attention to the wings.....they look so thin! Only one plate wide! Also, I just noticed how the windshield is done: it uses a Jedi Interceptor wing! Now THAT is creative!
  19. ^The Glatorian heads were weird, transparent Iron Man faces. And I did love the Metru heads, since you were able to change the eye colors. However, Inika had the right idea, with being able to slip over the head.
  20. Yeah, it is a great deal. I may get two!! ^^The Geonosis Troops do look like they have movie prints. In fact, they just look like brown/red Kashyyyk troops, so these are likely unfinished. And it is not 100% confirmed that Anakin's starfighter will be microseries......just 99% confirmed. I would like to see how they handle the Microseries print on Anakin, and this thing had better be big, because it is $50!!!
  21. That is exactly what I said a while back, but no one agreed! It looks exactly like Onua Mata's mask. (At least, on the Golden one). ^And please, in the name of Mata Nui, don't let the spiders be rubber. That would so ruin everything!
  22. On the box art, why is Tahu in the same setting as Kopaka (an icy terrain), yet he is riding a lava wave? Very peculiar.....
  23. Here we go: 1) T-16 looks incredible. And for $25, it is an instant buy. 2) The AAT, though a bit small, looks pretty nice. I may buy it if I have some extra cash. 3) The ITT is incredibly small, but still pretty nice. I will still buy it, even if they are Rebels style. 4) Shadow Troopers=shut up and take my money. 5) Geonosis Troopers is a maybe.....depends on how good they look, and how the AT-RT is. 6) The AT-DP is pretty nice, and I may buy it. But it is the same price as the AT-AP this year, and it looks smaller. 7) Ezra's SB is a pass. The bikes are nice, and I may MOC a few, but it doesn't have enough to offer for the price. 8) TIE Advanced is a pass; it looks like they took a TIE cockpit and bent the wings a bit. It has nothing to offer. 9) The microfighters.....I actually like. This year, the figs were boring and the builds were lame, but I actually like all of these, at least for the parts. (And the ATAT and LAAT are adorable!!) 10) Hailfire I cannot see. 11) Anakin's Custom is a pass, only because of the price tag. Overall, I will definitely be spending at least $55 on this wave: T-16, the ITT and Shadow Troops, though I may get the AT-DP (maybe) and the AAT. Now, some notes: 1) Anakin's Custom Starfighter comes with a new minifig--microseries Anakin? 2) AT-DP features the new drivers. 3) The fig in Ezra's Speeder has normal legs, so no Ugnaught; however, it may be Sabine. 4) Yay! Look at the AAT: the Battle Droids feature a new, bent arm (like the newer skeletons)! That is what i was waiting for!! 5) Shadow Troops are on Mustafar, so will it appear in Rebels? 6) The Hailfire comes with either a Stormie or a Phase II clone.......I find that odd. Overall, this may be a pretty good wave.
  24. Exactly! And anyway, I doubt they will go back and change The Old Republic era, since they are dealing with the OT and Episode VII right now. They just de-canonized everything so to get ready for the future, but I am sure that most of the stuff will be re-canonized. I never liked EU, but if you like it, then just follow that as canon. Think of the new movies as "alternate universe" or a reboot, or just don't watch the movie. If you don't like it, you don't have to see it. I would love Separatists too, but this isn't the set to do it in. We need either a Geonosis or Mustafar Conference Room, where we can get all of them.
