  1. ^I agree. And people need to stop saying, "This is ugly." "I hate this" "The Tusken has a balloon head." If you don't like it, don't buy it. Saying "I hate this" is not adding to a discussion; it's just obnoxious. Anyway, does anyone think that we may get a second battle pack wave for 2015? I miss them doing that........and it would be great, so we can get some ROTS battle packs and some rebels. Speaking of ROTS.......what gives?! Next year is the DECADE ANNIVERSARY, and we get no sets? I was at least expecting some BPs, but I suppose they are building up for an exclusive. What do you guys think?
  2. I never got that: Matoran can be any age, right? It's not like they turn into bigger Matoran when they get older, right? Anyway, I think that the Protectors are just six guardians; not a race, not a army, just a team. Like the Toa. Maybe these will be the Toa-in-training, under teaching by the Tahu and the others.
  3. ^What? I see no problem with that, since Mata Nui was named Mata Nui because Mata Nui brought the Matoran to Mata Nui to protect Mata Nui after Mata Nui crashed and created Mata Nui over Mata Nui........Oh, wait, that is a problem.
  4. Yeah, I got into Lego late, so I never got to pick up any TIE variants, save for the basic Fighter. There are so many opportunities that have never been explored, especially from games; Lego missed out big time on TFU sets (since they did ONLY ONE), Battlefront sets, or even just obscure vehicles from the movies. They tried to expand with TOR, but I just.....could never bring myself to like it. The movies still have so many potential sets, as do the games and TCW. For the past few years, it's been rehash after rehash, rather than Lego giving us new designs. At least with Rebels, they're starting to expand.
  5. Okoto......I guess I can like it. But is this just the island, or will it also be a character? From the very start of Bionicle, we knew that Mata Nui (island) was named after a Great Spirit. So is this a Great Spirit Okoto, and they named their island after him? Or......is this just an island? Also, I really hope that Summer wave is small; my wallet will need a break, since I plan on buying every set, from every wave......no matter how bad.
  6. Well, I knew that the Shadow Stormies were from TFU, but I figured that Lego would release them to promote a Rebels appearance. I mean, why sell guys who barely appear for one level in a video game from 2008? But, I guess, the same goes for the Azure Angel. Lego must be trying to dig down into the obscure-but-not-that-obscure wells of Star Wars. Hence the T-16, Shadow Troops, and Azure Angel. And you know what? I like this; usually, I love the movies before anything else, but if I got the pick of a Rogue Shadow or ANOTHER X-Wing, I know which I would choose.
  7. Guys, I'm so confused. The Shadow Troops have OT printing, while the ITT uses Rebel prints. If Shadow Troops is also from Rebels, (which is highly likely), why not do the same prints? And the Imperial Officer in the TIE Protoype uses the same print as in this year's Star Destroyer, and the Pilot is the same as OT printing. So they gave us OT Shadow Stormies, OT pilots, and OT officers, but REBELS PLAIN STORMIES?!?! Messed up, man...... Also, the Tusken is great. Look at the movie: the Tusken DOES have a darker head. I was just hoping for a helmet, not a molded head. Lastly guys, I just wanted to ask a question about the Slave I. Since it will be released in January, it does not count as a 2014 exclusive, but as a 2015 exclusive. But Lego always releases exclusives in May and August, so is the Slave I just early, or will they do three next year?
  8. Ugh, you're right! They sell the hair in one set, and the helmet in another. Also guys.......Rebel Stormies are growing on me......as is the TV Show.......
  9. The AAT is way too angular, and incredibly tiny. The Droid Carrier is a retail exclusive, is overpriced, and the Battle Droids are not new. TIE Advanced is too small and ugly. And Sabine. Has. No. Helmet. 2015, you have let me down. At least I now have money for the Slave I, and Bionicle.
  10. No helmet for Sabine? Skip....... Only buying the Battle Packs, T16, and AT-DP. Maybe the Hailfire, but I need pics. Overall, kind of a disappointing wave. I actually like the Microfighters more than I do the TIE prototype.
  11. Ugh, that ruins the entire feel of this wave. "Look, it's tribal, with tribal-style masks, primitive monsters, and tribal paint.......oh yeah, and Robots. They make robots."
  12. Man, if I had one Fan Vote, I'd say either Bounty Hunter lineup (from TESB), Lars Homestead, or Ewok Celebration (Force Ghosts, Ewoks, barbeque, Lando......). <-Wow, that sounds weird, like force-ghost ewoks are barbequeing Lando........ Lego KIND OF did a fan vote thing, back in '09 I think, when we chose Palpatine's Arrest, Home One, or something else (forgot....)
  13. It looks incredible; you really captured the aftermath of the battle. But seriously, if they make TFU sets, and TOR sets, why not Battlefront? Oh yeah.....I forgot about that.....Lego can never do these though. The pig would only be a gross big-fig, since you know, there is no more efficient way to do it.
  14. What's wrong with making elementally-colored, simple characters, and changing them into silver messes with more technology than they have body? Also, I actually LIKED Bara Magna. I LIKED how we saw Mata Nui in action, even though he was super tiny. I LIKED the revisited tribal feel, and the sense of war, and all of the sets released then. That being said, the movie was terrible. "Oh, look at this! It's the biggest BIONICLE moment ever!! Let's ignore it now!!" And what I think really killed it was the fact that the last half of the story was only available in books and online serials (and the awful Stars.....)
  15. It really would be great! We can get regular Stormies, Clones, Droids, and Rebels, but then we can also get all different variants: Dark Troopers, Vanguards, Desert Gear, 501st Clones, Magna Guards, etc. And we can get Bespin platforms and hallways, Death Star control rooms, Jedi Temple rooms, Felucia, Mygeeto, Rhen Var (remember that?!). Seriously, I have more R2-D2 minifigs, OF THE SAME VARIANT, than I do Stormies. And before you say, "Well, R2 is a major character", I also have two Logray figs. Seriously. I have two figs of a background Ewok, and only three Stormies. Something isn't right.......
  16. Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding. But yeah, I have thought about that to, since it would be absolutely incredible. But his feet have no spaces for it ......
  17. You guys seriously believe this? Seriously? JJ is known to keep things tight under wraps, but you think that we have plot details, FINISHED SHOTS, costumes, and character roles? No. "The Inquisitor's are a new race of Sith." Or did that not-credible source say "Hey, a guy named the Inquisitor is in Rebels! Maybe there'll be a hundred of him in VII?!?!" The answer is no. There will be no chrome Stormies, there will be no Luke's hand floating in space, there will not be a flashback, or Palpatine, or Vader, or Boba Fett, or any of those crazy rumors. What we know: there are black X-Wings, the Millenium Falcon appears, and.....Oh, that's it!
  18. What makes you say that? The fact that has about 50 Skull Spiders behind him? Also, arc: Aren't they the same blades that Tahu uses?
  19. Not at all. Seeing some solid gold or white metal Skull Spiders would be great, probably even better than Krana. These SS masks look like they can pass for real villain masks, real tribal masks, while Krana were too small and didn't look quite right.
  20. Like I said, it probably has no story significance. This is just a fun design thing to say "Look, he's in the desert, and he's fighting a scorpion!" It's not going to be like, "The stinger skull spider is a poisonous and radioactively-charged skull spider. One touch means certain death." BIONICLE fans are like Star Wars fans: we look WAY too deep into every little detail. Sometimes, it's a good thing, but this is just......ridiculous.
  21. Is it LEGO IDEAS time? Anyway, it is WAY to difficult to get an Imperial Army, worse than a Clone Army. The clones just had so many specialty troops, and few regular guys (until 2013). But Stormies only have a few specialty soldiers, but they ALL CHANGE ALL THE TIME. TIE pilots, Snowtroopers, regular Stormies, Scouts, they all change so much. At this point, I'm hoping for the ITT to regular, just so I can buy 100 of these and then never bother with Stormies ever again.
  22. It's supposed to be like a scorpion, since it's in the desert. I doubt it means anything story-wise. Also, I don't mind the skull spiders, so long as, like others said, they have a MINOR ruler. I don't mean overruling leader, like Teridax, because of course they'll give us that type of character. I mean like Roodaka and Sidorak, Vezon, or someone else along those lines. Now really, I think that the eyes on the display stand cannot be LOSS, since they're not cartoony and goofy. These definitely belong to the major antagonist. Speaking of which: :roflmao: :roflmao:
  23. You have twelve Stormies? I have three! And that includes Ewok Village, and four years of collecting! I was really looking forward to the ITT, but if they are the same Rebel Stormies from Ghost, then it's a definite skip. However, they may still have been updated to look less.......like a half-melted anime Stormie. But that is a great idea Venkefodo; using Rebel Stormies as background for an Emperor's Arrival MOC. Genius!! That would be perfect. I know that you mean for them to appear in Rebels, but I always hoped that Lego would do a Battlefront series, like including some scenes and background locations from Cloud City, Death Star, Kamino, etc. As a matter of fact, I actually said this on this forum. This would be great for one simple reason: these locations are too big to be captured in full scale, and they are not iconic locations. A Battlefront series would also allow for so many variants of soldiers to be made: Jetpack clones, clone snipers, clone engineers, Dark Troopers, rebel vanguards, etc. The problem with Lego Star Wars now is that they focus too much on the big, iconic people and locations, when what we really need is background locations and soldiers.
  24. I guess that a remake would be rather silly. The major factor that made Bionicle so great and memorable was the surprising twists in the story, like the fact that they were INSIDE OF A HUGE ROBOT?! So following that same storyline would ruin it. Now, that being said, the New Bionicle needs to have massive twists in the story, but they need to be different enough from the original so that it doesn't feel like a remake, but also need to have the same effect on the story. As much as I love the Metru, and the Inika, I guess that they won't be returning. Let's just hope that Lego makes characters just as good as Vakama, Jaller, and all of the rest.
  25. "Okoto......Nope, I'm done! That's what did it for me; now I won't buy any!" SERIOUSLY PEOPLE? They brought back Bionicle, and the Toa Mata, and some people complained about the island's name? So what? Also, not sure if anyone else pointed this out, but Kopaka has trans-blue hands!
