  1. Hmmmm....Not quite sure. Some of them just look like cheap little photos that they just threw in, but the Carbon-Freeze Chamber and the Senate Platform look real. Let's just hope.... ^Robianco, I agree. Each has only had one set: the Dagobah set had the X-Wing/Hut, and Cloud City only had, well, Cloud City. (Unless you count the Cloud Car). Out of every planet, Bespin and Dagobah are always left out, and TESB sets are always limited to Hoth. I am sick of spaceships; I want a new Cloud City (Maybe done in the style of Jabba's Palace?!)
  2. I see the Defenders to be $8. Remember the initial HF wave, with the Heroes all being $6? They all had 17 pieces, and I can't see the Defenders having more pieces than that. The Defenders appear to be smaller than the 2.0 Heroes, which were $12. The Toa are likely their old prices: $12-15, and the Defenders have to be less.
  3. ^I had no idea about the Cloud City or the Senate Room hints. While I view the first as unlikely, the latter is possible; in the New Yoda Chronicles, Palpatine is conferencing with several senators, and Bail Organa appears later in the same episode. Could be a hint..... And while I don't think we can get a Cloud City, it would be EPIC! The carbon-freezing scenes is one of my favorites, and all of the weird angles and colors make it hard to MOC. Can you provide a link to these page photos?
  4. Still, though....It would be stupid of them to skip the holidays. After December, there is really no massive wave of people rushing to clean the shelves. After the holidays, it just turns into kids buying a small, cheap toy on the weekend, and AFOLs (or TFOLs) adding to their collection, slowly but surely. The holidays, though, create that massive influx of people: demand is high, and products fly off shelves. People would buy Bionicle for themselves, for memories, and they would also buy for their children, so that they can have the same memories they had as children. Plus, people would see that their kids like HF, and a series that looks just like HF, but possibly cheaper, could appeal to them for the holidays....
  5. In a way, they already have made Juniors-type sets, in the form of battle packs and the microfighters: cheap, easy builds, and fun looking toys with plenty of play functions. On another topic, I have found something astonishing in . In the trailer, we get a 5 second glimpse of Boga, which I knew before, but in the background, I see what appears to be a quick flash of Commander Cody, along with the Utapau Guy. It is either him or one of those pig-alien guys, but either way, I am sure that we will get some sort of Utapau set.In addition to that, there is one thing that I hadn't noticed before: Chewy and Han come out of a pod like Yoda used to get off of Kashyyyk. Could we be getting a sort of Dagobah set, or an Order 66 set? They could throw in a mish-mash of several scenes: Utapau, Kashyyyk, Felucia, Mygeeto. It is the 10 Year Anniversary of ROTS.... Also, in the actual Yoda Chronicles Episode, there is a scene with the homestead, and young Beru, and young Owen. Could we be getting a homestead, depicted at the end of ROTS? Last thing: In another video, which I can't find, featured Bossk, Dengar, and 4-LOM, along with the Slave I. Could this be a confirmation for the UCS Slave I? I sure hope so.... Obviously, all of these can't be true, but I would really want at least one to be true. I know that the Yoda Chronicles tends to tease us with glimpses of future sets, but they also throw us off with things that won't neccessarily be made. So, what do we think?
  6. Really? The biggest comeback of a Lego line ever, and they are going to skip the holiday season? No, sir. They may have done that back when the line was first introduced, but now it has confirmed popularity, and confirmed sales. And anyway, don't all lines release their new sets in January? So you're telling me that they will skip the holidays, let all the other lines get released for people to spend money on, and then release Bionicle?
  7. Never. Lego has never done anything like that with Star Wars, and really, I would see no purpose in it.
  8. There is no doubt now. It will be Bionicle, so let's talk about the reveal: do you think that they will showcase all of them? Or just one or two, to really kill us? And what if they reveal that they will be released within weeks, before the holiday season.....
  9. Yes, it is behind the bricks. The Utapau Guy appears clearly on screen for 2-3 seconds, and in the same scene, the TIE variant can be seen behind Luke and Leia. Boga appears throughout, but no Cody. Whoops! That is only a B-Wing. But look at the beginning, after Luke falls down the sinkhole. The next seen shows the Millenium Falcon being chased by either a TIE Bomber, or a TIE Advanced (Not the Prototype version.)
  10. When I first saw the color photo, my brain nearly exploded, for two reasons: 1) YAY!! BIONICLE IS BACK!!!! and 2) NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! WHY DID I SELL MY COLLECTION?!?!? But yeah, when they are revealed at NYCC (Yeah, I am 100% sure of it), I might explode. I won't be there in person, since I never go to these events, but I will wait. On every. Lego. Website. All. Night. True, that was pretty stupid. And while talking about Pohatu: WHY WAS HE ORANGE?! He was always a beautiful brown, but ever since the Inika, they said, "Hey, let's mess with all of them and make them orange now!" Also on Karda Nui, what was up with the Makuta species? I had always thought, up to that point, "Oh, Makuta is a single villain." But no, now the deal is, "He's Teridax, not 'Makuta'. That is the entire species of villains." What?! And they were not even real villains; they were just monster-bugs. 2001-2003=Great 2004-2005=Good 2006-2007=Meh 2008=Nope 2009=Oh, this is getting good again. 2010=Ugh.
  11. Hey guys, I just found a link to a Lego Star Wars short. In it, you can get several glimpses of Boga, what appears to be some sort of TIE variant, and that guy from Utapau (Forgot his name.....I mean, I definitely never looked it up on Wookieepedia! ). The "Utapau guy"(wink) can either indicate a Utapau set with Boga, or at the very least give us an idea of how the Inquisitor will be made.
  12. I didn't mean retailer exclusive, I mean the big Lego Store exclusive. Like the Sandcrawler. Oh, please no. That would be absolutely terrible. The Death Star, to me, was one of the worst sets. It just kept the basic shape of what it tried to recreate, and included mini-builds of big scenes. If anything, it should be done more like Jabba's Palace: one side looks like the exterior, other side features detailed areas, not mini-builds.
  13. Alright...well played Dorek. You convinced me. You're not like some others, who throw out invalid or stupid points (like me); you provided a well thought out argument. And you convinced me. So bravo....I am now a bit more accepting of the technology aspect of the story, and it does make more sense. Also, it took me like 3 minutes to figure out what LOST was. The all caps through me off, and I thought it was some sort of abbreviation.
  14. But come on....it would be so easy to include a piece of the homestead. And they still haven't released a fairly major female character: they release Shaak Ti, and Oola, and Aayla, and even Barriss Offee, who got like 10 seconds of screen time, yet we don't get Luke's aunt? That is messed up. They could have put her in the Sandcrawler, or the previous one, or any of the landspeeders, but instead, we get characters like Oola appearing in sets. If there was one character that I thought would never be made into Lego, it is Oola.
  15. At a certain point, it doesn't matter. My only point was that the Toa went from tribes and rituals of honoring spirits, to shooting lasers and flying with jetpacks, in like 10 years.
  16. Agreed. All of these sets are because they have to deal with a TV show that they don't know yet how successful it will be, a defunct series that has lost popularity, most canon thrown out the window, and upcoming movies. The only sets they can do are ones from the movies, and most of them have already done, so what they're left with is obscure things: T-16, Shadowtroopers, etc.
  17. Okay, I laughed at that. But that is different. That was showcasing the work of the Great Beings, work from another time, from more evolved beings. There is no reason why Jaller should have a machine gun, or why Lewa, Toa of Air who can fly, should have a jetpack. I mean seriously, that was just superfluous. The Mata Nui robot, and the Cordex are all exceptions to the technology hatred, because that was work of the Great Beings.
  18. Well, first on my agenda is the T-16. I want to know how they do the Tuskens, and if it will include a Bantha, or a piece of the homestead instead (with BERU!!!!!!!!). They could do a piece of the garage, or the outside entrance, or just a Bantha with mini-ball joints. No matter what, I'll at least be happy with a Tusken. Also, what do we think will be the exclusive sets? I am hoping SO MUCH for a set with Boga: mini-ball joints, Commander Cody, and I don't care what else. Throw in some crayons and laundry detergent, I don't care. I want Boga, and I want Cody, and I want it NOW!! I also hope for the big exclusive to be Amidala's Starship, or the Slave I.
  19. When do we get the leaked images; I'm dying here!! There are so many sets that we know so little about! I want to know everything about every set, especially the minifigures. This is all the fun of it, though: waiting for each piece of information, getting excited by every little leaked detail....I enjoy it.
  20. Metru Nui was pretty good, too; I enjoyed the cities and robot Vahki. But there is a certain point of sci-fi-ness that should never have happened in the Bionicle story line: jetpacks, lasers, spaceships. Mata Nui era felt dangerous because they were out in nature; it didn't feel like they were fighting intelligent beings, they were fighting beasts and monsters. When you think about it, Bionicle draws heavily from tribal aspects: evil spirits, ritualistic masks, elemental powers, nature, honoring a "great spirit". Voya Nui, and Karda Nui era just felt....wrong.
  21. Thanks for accepting my x1001 apology! But I doubt it would be anything like that, like including an Anakin minifigure and the box just saying "Build Something!" It is possible, though, because the images of Minecraft sets do say, in basic terms, "Build Something": their customizable and contain generic minifigures. So your idea may be right....and if so, that would be EPIC! I have always wanted a blue interceptor, and a red one, and green, and purple, and orange, and black and white and clear and neon and glow in the dark and.....and.....I like interceptors.
  22. So guys, I would just like to state one last thing about NYCC: As people have already said in this thread, BZP has been given tickets as giveaways to the event, at which they will reveal a new theme. So, many believe it is Bionicle. But, what if they are trying to throw us off track? They know that things have been leaked, and they could try to throw us off and pretend like, "Oh, it won't come back." And here's a thought: what if it doesn't come back. I mean, at this point, we have three main things to go off of: the obvious color photo, the website error, and the "new theme" idea. But what if the first is a trick, the second is a mistake, and the third is something new? Don't get me wrong, I am 99.9% percent sure, but still. Wouldn't that be something: all this hype and speculation, and then in 2015, nothing happens. I have no doubt that Lego would be attacked.....
  23. Oh, sorry Galactic 13. I thought that you meant you can make different models of ships. Sorry x1000 man! But that idea actually sounds really cool. It can include red, green, blue, yellow, etc. But the only problem is that it is called "Anakin's Custom Starfighter". Therefore, it cannot be a total "make your own", it refers to one specific ship. Your idea is pretty cool, though. They should so do that....Sorry again!
  24. ^What? With all due respect, that makes absolutely no sense. Do they include something like, "Change the ARC-170 into a V-Wing?" Maybe I just don't understand what you mean, so please elaborate. And Jedi-Bendu, that is actually a very good observation. Bravo....so now that they are confirmed real, I am going to just sit back for a second and EXPLODE!!
  25. Well, we have reached a stalemate. Bionicle can be dumbed down, HF can be dumbed down, so lets just settle on this: They both have strengths and weaknesses. Sorry for causing the HF vs Bionicle feud!
