    It'd be pretty disappointing if they just gave us the Toa masks again. But I seriously have no clue what it could be.....Re-colored Protector masks? Or maybe Ekimu made other masks of power......? Right. I'm sorry, these sets are DEFINITELY final......I mean, Ekimu will surely have the exactly-same-printed Ninjago disk, S. Grinder will not include that mystery mask, and some of the villain will have Witch Doctor's mask, others will wear a Skull Spider. Oh, and every box will be white. It's pretty difficult to notice, but apparently, there is a stamp on each box that says "Preliminary Image". So that's why they dropped out of the conversation. Anyway, I totally agree: LEGO: "Hey, guys this is just a rough idea of what the sets will *basically* look like, but--" Us: "They look terrible!! What have you done?!?!" LEGO: "Well, they don't accurately depict the sets; they're preliminary. That means--" Us: "BIONICLE IS RUINED! I HATE LIFE!!!!" Everyone needs to calm down, and wait for the official images.

    I'm away for a few hours, and this all happens....My thoughts: 1) THESE ARE PRELIMINARY. Some of you are getting so angry, and viciously attacking LEGO and BIONICLE itself, because you saw a blurry prelim of a set. These guys have placeholder masks, no box art, and very likely unfinished color schemes, pieces, and overall design. I won't even bother to criticize the sets yet (except for MMvsSG). That being said, I do have some notes: 1) Skull Slicer appears to be lassoing the golden mask, almost like he's trying to steal it. Same with Skull Scorpion.....so is their a chance that these are not their own masks? I can't think of what it would be though......Maybe Protector masks with legs? 2) From what I could tell, they all have gearboxes. 3) Grinder has a pretty unique build. Those shoulder connections use System pieces.....Also, his leg armor does look like Lewa's mask. Maybe it has printing? 4) EKIMU!!!! Oh, he's beautiful! But can anyone tell how he's built? From what I see, I'd say it's POF's build--but Ekimu has elbows. And the torso looks different...... 5) I was right! MOCR and the Golden Protector mask! Overall, these sets.....have potential. From where we stand, they look pretty bad, but I am sure that these are nowhere near finalized.

    Wow! Tyderium is absolutely incredible, Final Duel is waaaaaay better than I thought it would be (I'm glad they included the hiding areas!), and although I hate TPM, I still really want the Naboo Starfighter. Overall, this is a pretty good wave (so far). But all these sets, along with the TFA wave AND Rebels season 2......My wallet is going to have a heart attack! BTW, since there will be a Rebels Season 2 wave, maybe we'll get Sabine's helmet in a cheaper set.....

    Anything could sound simple when you say it like that. Here: Gen 1 was just: -Wake up a sleepy robot so he can blow up a bad guy. See that? It's exactly what you did. Right now in Gen 2, the story is: -Find powerful golden mask to unlock the Toa's true potential, in order to defeat a horde of villains who threaten the island. They must also re-awaken the ancient mask makers, and destroy a (supposedly) sentient Mask of Ultimate Power. People complain just to complain.

    What are you talking about? This is the epitome of evil and darkness: But yeah, I never really saw '06 as dark......it was just way too silly. And the story was a waste; "Oh, the Mask of Life is--flying away? We spent, like, an entire year of story going after it, and now it just flew away?!?!?" That's going to be the summer's storyline: the MOCR flies away after LOSS hits it out of POI's hand.

    My idea is that the MOUP is just a sentient manifestation of evil.....Sort of like Satan. Nothing really creates it, nothing controls it; it just....is. Also, I'm starting to feel the real story hype now: who gave the Mask Makers their masks?! Were there former mask makers, or are Ekimu and Makuta the first of their kind? Also, I have a pretty good idea of who their father is....... Those were the perfect words to describe it: campy and lighthearted. A story doesn't have to be dark in order to be good; in fact, stories usually suffer because they try to make it TOO dark. Right now, the characters are quirky and bright, but they're not bad in any way. I, personally, love the new BIONICLE: it's bright, it's fun, and it feels like '01! And anyway, do we really want to see another incident like....<sniff>....Matoro?

    I hope we get the MOCR this year, especially since Ekimu isn't really special without it. Then, he's just a Protector.......Is it possible that LEGO will include it IN ADDITION to the golden Protector mask? Ekimu and S. Grinder could be fighting over the MOCR, which will be an "extra mask", and Ekimu could have the Protector mask on? Or could it be that LEGO just didn't want to reveal that we'll get the MOCR this year, so they didn't display it? That *might* be possible.......</desperate> BTW, this is kind of half-joking, half serious.....when they find Ekimu, shouldn't he be, like, horribly decomposed? I mean, it's been a few thousand years......#zombieEkimu2015.

    Ah, man. I just realized that the helmet is in IAC for $100, but the hairpiece will only be in Ezra's Speeder Bike. Well played, LEGO. Well played. Most likely, I'll just wait until we see 2016 pictures, to see if we get her helmet in a cheaper set. If so, then I'll be able to skip IAC. Also, I'm really liking the sound of Tyderium. I don't own the UCS, or any previous version, so it's a definite buy. Even if the cockpit is weird, I could either 1) live with it, or 2) MOD it.

    Yay, Vader's helmet is in two pieces! But...... I knew LEGO was going to include Sabine's helmet in some expensive, stupid set that I wouldn't want. Seriously, none of the other figs in that set are appealing, and the ship design= But I'll have to spend the money, just to get her helmet! (BTW no one suggest Bricklink to me. I had a terrible experience w/ it.)

    Hey, did anyone else notice that the tribes were all united in the beginning? In the Legend video, the narrator says that "...all lived in harmony," while showing a picture of a fire, water, and jungle villager together in--the Ancient City? So, they were all one mega-village (like the one on Bara Magna), and they all split off into tribes after Makuta and Ekimu's death? Also, what element are Ekimu and Makuta? In the same video mentioned above, he says that they are, "From the island's elemental forces.....", so we know that they DID belong to an element in the past, and didn't just fall out of the sky like gods. So many questions!

    It'll probably be red, since that is the only color from the comics that they haven't released. I agree. They would never directly state, "Oh, that's the Gen 1 Vahi in the new universe!" if it meant something. They are merely trying to show us that this is an easter egg, and that time is an important aspect of the new story. I would be furious if they linked the two generations (unless they go with my Makuta theory, which I thought was pretty nice). Gen 1 is for our hearts. Gen 2 is for our wallets. Leave it that way.

    Well, like others said, they are probably very inaccurate. We have vague information about the general shapes of sets (S. Scorpion looks like a scorpion, the others are humanoid), and their most basic color schemes, which Risgrynsgrot said he could not see fully. And what Risgrynsgrot saw could have been preliminary. He said white bones, but remember Pohatu's "white"? Silver, tan, and white all looks similar. Anyway, why would a humanoid build limit the complexity of the set's functions? For all you know, S. Grinder could transform into a plane. (Unlikely, to say the least, but you see my point.) I, personally, think that the sets will be highly functional and complex. Why would LEGO make one wave of sets like that, and then drop it for the summer?

    Yeah, I remember the good old days, when I walked into Target and saw, for the first time ever, Mata Nui and the legendary Mask of Life. I also remember seeing all BIONICLE sets gone, replaced with HF (bad times! )......Now it's like: "We're getting Ekimu and the MOCR in a few months." "Yay."

    It's amazing that we got the first BIONICLE leaks in July, three months before they were showcased at NYCC, yet we can't get a single leak now. Maybe LEGO finally realized they should keep things better protected. As much as I love to get leaks, I feel....wrong....when we get leaked images. ESPECIALLY with an original theme like this. It reminds me of sneaking around in your attic as a kid, and then you find Christmas presents: you feel wrong for doing it, and it takes away the excitement. That being said, I really want to see the sets. If Skull Scorpion is anything like a Nui-Jaga, then LEGO has my money.

    Oh, sorry. By logic, the minifigs we could get are Luke, Han, Leia, one or two rebels, maybe Chewie, and then 2 scout troopers. I would love a shiny C-3PO.

    I'm glad that I'm not the only one who wants Makuta to become un-corrupted. (Someone said it a while back, but I cant find the quote.) The MOUP, from what we could tell, is the ultimate evil, an I have a theory that will blow you away: What if the MOUP holds the conscious of Teridax? The story could be that Teridax's spirit (or whatever he has) went into this mask, which is why it is so corrupted and seemingly sentient. And that is why the mask corrupted Okoto Makuta--because Teridax found his alternate-dimension form, and he's trying to return!! And it is possible: say that Teridax survived the Mata Nui battle, moved to another dimension, so the same Toa who fought him have arrived to stop him again. At least it would give the Toa a reason to care about Okoto. Either I just came up with the best idea, or the most absurd idea. What do you think?

    Correct. You don't need to like EVERYTHING, but when someone doesn't like 90% of the franchise....they should rethink calling themselves a fan. Sorry....The whole rant about Star Wars fans being impossible to please was not meant to be directed at you. I was responding to the previous posts about the MF being the same.

    People exaggerate the flaws of the PT and ROTJ (I meant ROTJ, not ROTS), the flaws of the Clone Wars are valid, but also exaggerated, and I have no clue why people hate Rebels so much. I happen to think that the PT are decent movies (but ROTS is pretty great), the Ewoks don't ruin ROTJ, TCW is not AS bad as we make it out to be, and also, I love Rebels.

    I would love that, sooooo much. Takanuva-esque charater , new Vahi, funmetal gunmetal and gold color scheme? We need more unique characters; as much as I love the original BIONICLE elements, they got boring really quick: Fire, Ice, Air, etc....When we got the Toa of Light, and Toa of Life, it added some excitement.     I think that's a bit rude, considering that the crew who designed the trailer probably spent quite a long time trying to make it perfect for fans. And really, what was bad about it? Star Wars fans are impossible to please. "Keep the MF the same, and you're a lazy designer. CHANGE the MF, and we'll hate you." There are few true fans out there. Almost every supposed "hardcore fan" hates Clone Wars, the PT, Rebels, ROTJ.....but no, they're fans!!

    I don't think so. I also have the heads in front of me, and while they do share similarities, such as spacing and general shape, the angle is completely different. I mean, in the photo, the eyes can be seen where the nostrils are, implying that the eyes go past the nose (or maybe there is no nose).....these eyes are definitely longer and more vertical. I hope that's official, and not just some random fan art. And if you look at the red eyes in the corner....4 of them. I knew I was right: that mystery mask DOES have 4 eyes!! (I don't know why people thought it was a nose--why would a nose glow red?)
