This kind of sums up my one problem with Ultra Agents, it doesn't feel like Lego is giving the theme a chance. It's being cleared out of Lego stores, and is given little or no space in their catalogs. Such a shame that this great line is going to end like this.
-
No idea, but they aren't in the US version either.
-
I'm still hoping they're not (probably wishful thinking though), and are just pushed back to August. I did manage to get to my nearest Lego store recently, to find absolutely no Ultra Agents sets on the shelves. When I asked why, the member of staff said that with all the new releases for June, there wasn't enough room in the store, but they still had some sets in the back (this was the same for the latest Hobbit sets). I'd like to think that because of this, it would make sense for Lego to not release UA alongside everything else this summer, (almost every other theme has had it's summer release here in the UK), and wait until there is less sets on the shelves for the theme to compete with (again, probably just wishful thinking). Something that would baffle me if they weren't released though, would be the fact that they were shown at both London and Nuremberg toy fairs, whereas last year, when the Chima ultrabuilds were cancelled in the US, they weren't shown at New York. The Chi ultrabuilds, I mean, not UA.

That torso is actually a bit different from the standard one. Aside from the now purple arms, the blue cloth design that appears on the other ghosts appears to be tucked inside of Howla's robes rather than hanging out of them. I really like the uniqueness of these two ghosts compared to the 3 main types of ghost warrior that appear in the sets. I'm still a bit confused why Lego would give a bunch of the ghosts in the sets different names even though they're the exact same minifigure though. But overall, the battle pack looks pretty good, I probably will pick this one up if I see it. They're about £10 in the UK right?
-
Ok, I don't know if this has already been discussed, but I was looking on Brickset and noticed this battle pack under Ninjago sets for 2015, http://brickset.com/sets/851342-1/Battle-Pack I've got no clue where this came from, but the minifigures included are very interesting, especially the new ghost torsos and head pieces that don't appear in the current wave.

For anyone in the UK, the new sets are now available at Smyths: http://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/toys/lego-bricks/c-774/lego-ninjago/?pageSize=12&page=2 There's also a few new pictures and more product descriptions on their website. Something I found interesting is the name of the gold and trans blue sword that's included in Ronin REX: the Sword of Sanctuary.
-
Oh no, that really doesn't sound good. I should be able to get to my nearest lego store sometime next week to see if anyone there can give any confirmation on this. As until I hear that the sets are confirmed to be cancelled, I'm going to keep my fingers crossed.
-
Oh dear, I really hope this doesn't apply to the UK too. Having said that, I don't usually see that many UA sets on the shelves compared to other themes, so I guess it's possible for sales to be not too good, but definitely not that bad for the sets not to be released either.

Well, I can't believe I got fooled by a kid. But at least it does make sense why the episode 4 name was different from 'Shadow of Ronin', unless that was fake as well.- 4,591 replies

The episode "Downgraded" isn't even Ninjago. In the video, that episode has an "S2" for Season 2 next to it, as opposed to the "S5" next to all the ninjago episodes.- 4,591 replies

I don't think "Downgraded" or some of the other titles on there are even Ninjago, the schedule does have a bunch of other shows on there after all. As for the names that are Ninjago though...- 4,591 replies

Nice! These two look great! The vehicles themselves look pretty good, the Chain Cycle looks like a better (and spookier) version of the stone warrior bike from 2013, and I really like that Ghostbuster style backpack they gave Jay. I'm actually quite surprised by the number of minifigures in these sets across the entire wave, especially the amount of ghosts. I count a total of 22 ghost minifigures, excluding the airjitzu flyers, and 12 skreamers, so you could end up with a good sized group of ghosts from buying a few sets, great if, like me, you want to build an army of them.
-
When I saw that name, I thought that they'd do something like the fire temple, so a section of it can split down the middle and an Airjitzu flyer can be launched out from the inside. Sadly, with the set being airjitzu based, the chances of getting more elemental masters in minifigure form has become even more slim. I'm slill very much looking forward to seeing this set though.

I wouldn't worry about not having any more info on these sets at the moment, they're probably going to be retail exclusives so we'll eventually get pictures closer to the release date (whenever that is), they usually aren't shown at toy fairs, so that's why there's no pictures, except for the 70731 prelim. Speaking of which, that set doesn't look smaller than the Blaster Bike, from the preliminary piece count it looks like a $40/£35 set, 70730 Chain Cycle Ambush will most likely be about the same size as the Blaster Bike (or maybe bigger, considering how retail exclusives are priced).

Not a mistake, in a lot of the summer sets, the ninja carry a gold sword and a black one too, no idea why though... EDIT: I've looked through the set images again and it turns out that almost all the sets contain black and gold weapons, not just swords but axes, nun-chucks and spears, even Wu has one. The only set that doesn't appear to have one is the Ronin REX, but there is that golden katana with trans blue pieces on it instead. So what are these weapons? My best guess is that they are the obsidian weapons that are mentioned in the description of the Shadow of Ronin video game, which would make the katana in Ronin REX the katana of light. As cool as this is, I'm a bit confused as to why parts of the summer story follow on from the plot of a single video game that's only being released on a couple of handheld consoles. It seems like an odd way to tell a story that affects the future plot of the theme. EDIT 2: It actually was in the show, but like other buildings, it wasn't very set accurate. It still had the giant snake head that, like the set, did drop venom. Chen's staff was also featured very prominently in those scenes. But I do get what you mean, it does look very different and a lot of aspects of the set didn't get carried over into the show.

Yellow skin again? I don't think we will as him being a robot has been more focussed on recently, and I don't think that the normal minifigure colour would suit his robot voice.- 4,591 replies

Neuro did play a bigger part in the show, but it's not like Griffin didn't, I thought he actually got a decent amount. Griffin also has a better design than Neuro in my opinion, with a lot of nice details like his clock-face shuriken and hourglass emblem. And bare in mind that a Neuro minifigure would be more difficult for Lego to produce, because, to my knowledge, his hairpiece doesn't exist. It's not like I wouldn't also want to see a Neuro minifigure made in the future, as well as the 6 other remaining masters, but I think at this point, it's pretty unlikely.

Funny, Scorpio's actually my favourite of the skull villains! Maybe because I prefer non humanoid builds, same reason why I really like Lord of Skull Spiders.

Lego will probably never make a set based on the Flash and Arrow shows, but it's not like they can't make the minifigures and incorporate them into other sets, as long as those sets still contain Batman or Superman. People who don't watch the shows would most likely just see them as being new variants of the characters, but if Lego were to do this, they'd just make new versions of The Flash and Green Arrow and not bother with other characters like Diggle etc. Anyway, the summer sets look pretty good, I don't even mind that they used the old versions of the Penguin and Poison Ivy in Jokerland because the other figures in the set make up for it. The set itself looks fun with all its features and functions. The batboat is okay, I don't really like how it looks but I'll probably still buy it, the Deathstroke and Robin figs look great though.

Haha, that's great, just imagine if you stood on one! (or several) Now that would be painful!

It's amazing how ones opinion can change after seeing a few more pictures, forget what I said earlier about this being a step down from previous waves, I really like how these sets are turning out! After noticing more features and other cool things with these sets, my opinion has changed quite a bit. Now that we have more clear pictures, I'm going to quickly share my thoughts inside this spoiler tag:
