  1. Ruined buildings isn't that interesting for a set, People who care for more Osgiliath than 40-50$ provides can just buy multiples. Osgiliath doesent have one big recognisable structure to be buildt, so a smaller thing makes much more sense.
  2. an 80$ set for Osgiliath seems like overkill. I'd rather got with the size/price of weathertop .
  3. Magneto was already shown in the video. And you should assume all the marvel figures we already have in SETS will be in the game.
  4. In the latest issue of GameInformer, theres several concept art pieces of Asgard and The raft aswell
  5. Bah, I'd much rather have an all new caracther. We proapbly won't see what youre asking, but with the coming sub-wave of ironman 3 we'll propably have 2 more iron man versions, wich will total 4.
  6. The free roam is like Batman 2, only it's New york. In missions we will go to "the raft", Asgard" & Stark tower.. among other places. Concept art shows a sandman battle in central station.
  7. @metalslime Very nice build! really like the entrance pillars and use of owls.
  8. No matter what it was called, I'd have liked it better with less batman
  9. Unless they make their story super strict they could give you the option to chouse like 1 extra caracther in each level. so you have your 2 or more guys important to the story then beyond that you can select who you want... obviously everyone should not bve unlocked from the start, thers alot of fun in unlocking them.
  10. What?! I thought that game had way too much Batman
  11. In the first behidn the scenes video for the marvel elgo game, you see they play around in a star wars universe (something from episode 1) and it looks much better graphically than the old star wars games. It could just be them using the assets in their updated engine simply to show it started with star wars, or there might be a remake/new game of the first 6 movies in the very updated quality engine(since first 2 star wars games)
  12. well the green goblin we would get would propably be this: http://latimesherocomplex.files.wordpress.com/2012/10/spider-man-green-goblin2.jpg So no thank you!
  13. The orcs they battle at moria in the hobbit will be taken care of soon enough. The green goblins we see in Moria in Lord of the Rings arrives a while after that.
  14. I just hope we'll see some new powers. in lego batman 2 everything was just a reskin of thing's we'd seen in other lego games. more unique caractehrs and mroe caracthers overall, the minor ones can be reskin for all I care as long as there are TONS.
  15. You could connect soemthing udner the bridge part and attack it to their leg, in perhaps black or gray so it blends in.
  16. Looks good, but I'd find anotehr way of making the uruks fall off, the clear studs does not look right at all
  17. In my opinion they look too specific to fit orcs. And I dont see many roman/greek influences in the orc designs in LOTR. Edit, the roman helmet could work, but i wouldnt wnana see it in any official lego set. the chin guard side things looks properly orcish.
  18. Kindof tried out some mroe helmets and headgear. Legos new helmet(lets hope) should be the highlight, but veriety certainly would make any army/moc look better. 2 new helmets from lego would be fantastic but I'd be really suprised if they did that.
  19. you guys shoudl keep checking here http://www.gameinformer.com/lego They have all the early reveals. like this cover and first making of video: http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2013/01/08/february-cover-revealed-lego.aspx
  20. 1. will work very well prefferably in dark gray 3. I'm not a fan, the star wars headger thing looks abit odd 5. yes in dark gray or similar this should work very well, it looks similar to what alot of the orcs wear at pelennor 7.it might be the color or soemthing, but i think this helmet looks abit too futuristic, and I can't hgelp but think of Juggernaut from x-men. 9. Yes! this is fantastic, Thorins hair piece makes the orc looks super-similar to that one uruk you see alot of during this battle. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120622231910/lotr/images/b/b8/Gothmog1.jpeg 10. This helmet looks abit too proper and clean for the orcs in my taste. Lastly don't forget about the goblin's bald cap, it works great on orcs and adds more variety!
  21. technically the capes are grey but I'd think lego should make them like they did with Merry and Pippin. You'd imagine they chouse that color for both of their capes to represent the elven cape seeing as its hugely inaccurate for their pre-elven capes.
  22. I think real bricks are preferrable to to most people. But its very nie for testing out ideas and seeing if they are worthy of buying real bricks for creating them. ( I don't have a huge collection of bricks to suit my every need either so I find LDD to be a good enough outlet most of the time. I do hope anyone else working on anything elven share it here or elsewhere on this forum!
  23. The bulk of their armor is as thick or thicker than the gondorian armor, I want a new armor piece for the mordor orcs.
  24. That printing isn't really accurate enough. A new armor piece would be much better than a reused printing. Also they would still be printed even if they had a new armor.
  25. I really hope they make some lotr orc helmets, currently the orcs have extremely little variation. From the picture it could just as easily be that hair/ear piece again though. Well it kindof seem like the left side orc has the hairpiece and the right side orc has a helmet, on both the gate and the ship minifig index. What I wanna know is, do they wera an armor piece? a new armor piece? or are they just printed on the torso?
