    Might just be the light or something but to be the pants seem to be a very slightly green shade of grey where the arms/torso seems more pale. Comare the flat grey bit on the torso to the flat bit on the leg.

    I think the lego figure would look better in black or the darkest gray.

    We do get PJ's corsair minifig..... The lotr/hobbit minifig designer does post on these forums sometimes we should ask.. Presumably it's just the higher ups wanting to keep the prices down. It's a real shame they are cheaping out on the orcs... The armored mordor orcs is jsust about the only type of orc where alot of them looks just the same and would kindof have been a better print to have if you wanted just one.. Now I don't think we'll ever get a proper mordor orc toros print unless we get a 'hero' figure like gothmog..

    The undead minifigures are really nice, the corsair isn't bad.... The mordor orcs The undead soldiers gets 2 unique prints, but the mordor orcs have to resuse the same in 4 sets when they are only really made for 1 of the sets. Thanks for the images!

    I've only ever heard 1 corsair, 2 orcs, 2 dead soldiers and the king (+Legolas, Aragorn and Gimli.) They are including figures from both pelennor fields and exit from path of the dead scene. The palantir being translucent is soemthing I read from one of the toy fair reports, can't remember wich, could be that they are just unsure from the picture they saw. Last man standing, I'd say he's the lucky one!

    What are you talking about, the corsair is confirmed, it's always been in the prelim images, and now also confirmed at the toy fair. The palantir being a minifig isnt the best choise.. It being a translucent one is even worse, it should be black... Never in the movie is the palantir seethrough.

    Good to know! what I'm interested in is if the mordor orcs have a new print or not, If Anduril has a new mold and wich minifigures comes with Orthanc. Except for final pictures we know pretty much everything about the upcoming sets don't we? (except Orthanc)

    Loki minifigures was based of the movie but he used comic bruce waynes face. The minifigures deisgn in the superhero theme overall is looking alot less realistic than themes like lotr, I do hope that changes with 2013!

    It was an example that showed how some of your possible set ideas wouldn't really work as real sets. It would be better boiling the 50 ideas down to fewer ones that were more realistic.

    Alot of those sets are mostly minfigiures collections without something good to be buildt. And a fair amount of them overlap excisting sets, for example Death of Saruman, we are already getting an Orthanc set, and we have orc forge.

    I think maybe they'll wait to make battle packs uintill they are somewhat sure they wont make more sets including the same minifigures.

    I believe winter 2014 will have some middle earth sets. the bluray/dvd release will provide some marketing. They could also have some august/january release of 1 set similar to how the black pearl was released

    No no, changing suits in batman games is to give you some variety, in normal elgo games the issue is solved by changing caracthers. In the batman games you only have batman+robin for most of it. Keep the suit buisiness unique to the batman games.

    1. Lego is perfectly capable of making capes 2 colors, most recent example I can think of is Zurg. 2. Aragorn should be dark blue, as he is in the movie. 3. just because there are 2 mordor orcs listend and shown on the pakcage doese not mean theres 2 unique at all. Mineds of moria and uruk hair army both shows 2 figures that are exactly the same.

    They could atleast have printed the orc armor piece, they are gonna end up looking way too much like Uruk hai and possibly Gondorians... I think the doorknobs are pretty bad but that could change in the final set. I wouldn't think the mold of the eagle would change, im not sure how you'd give it claws while still making it capable of connecting to studs. The mouth of sauron is an awesome figure and its really cool of lego to make it, but I would much rather have gotten a new printed orc with a new helmet mold that could be reused across sets than him.

    Damn it, the armored orcs looks like just normal orcs with the standard armor piece and the helmet from the fantasy/castle series some years back..... That's so dissapointing if the finished minifigures ends up being just that. The constant reuse of that orc minifigure needs to stop!
