    Answeing my own question with a Bigger version: Sadly superman does not have a Henry Cavill face.. Guess they dont do that with movie figs in the superhero lisence? Boo And they seem to have completely missed that part of his "belt" should be same color as the "belt buckle"

    superman looks good generally but they really should have put the beltbucke part on his hips instead of torso, this makes him look short and unusual. the lines connecting to the belt has becme more horizontal than vertical wich is the issue. Can anyone tell if hes using the same old muscle design ?

    Aren't the FRIENDS bunny good enough? the FRIENDS hedgehog certainly will work out great as Sebastian with a less "barbie" print. I'd rather get Rivendell knights and wargs from that scene with the rock. Anyways I hope we don't get another white warg.. one is quite enough, sadly I think thers no avoiding it..

    I'm sure we'll get an Azog figure at some point. Do you recon he will be light gray? and Use the goblins "bald cap" Wonder if he gets a new hand or full arm mold. Seeing as all waves have a cheap(ish) 100piece 2 minifigure set what do you guys think/want it to be for DOS? Thranduil + throne confronting Thorin? Galadriel + someone + some buildt thing? or maybe more likely Gandalf + Radagast + a tree or part of a wall?

    Yeah, he'd propably be in a set based on the Bard situation. I don't see Smaug's 'lair' being a desierable set. I hope we get better/more interesting DOS sets since we already have 2 scenes from that movie covered with sets already. Does people think we'll get a full 6-7 sets or 4-5 like lotr?

    Believe thats Lake town/Esgaroth not Dale. Personally I don't think Smaug would or should come in multiple sets, I'd rather it be in the smaug's lair set so Lake town could be beter/bigger.

    LOTR wave 2 have 4or5 new molds, if hobbit wave 2 also only comes with 4 new molds heres wich ones I would want: Thranduil hair/crown, Radagast hair/hat, Bolg beard, Beorn hair/beard (if needed) & Smaug stuff Presumably we'll get more wave 2 molds for Hobbit than lotr since its based on a current movie. Orcrist would be a welcome addition.

    I read somewhere that theres 5000 gold figures in total. Dunno where but it was in one of the toy fair reports.

    This seems only like an "issue" for AFOLS kids generally wills just use whatever good/bad forces they got lotr themes or otherwise. But i'd say that more figures in a set will propably make it more desierable. If the first wave of LOTR sets did badly sales wise, do you think lego would have stopped wave 2? cause from what I can tell the 2 waves were planned from the start.

    A balrog set would offer no new minifigures, Not something I'd be interested in.

    I hope so too, but last year we only got 1 picture of the lotr sets and it was at a bad angle, and the image was too small to do any zooming on...

    The picture you linked is how he looks in the hobbit, his robes are red in the council in lotr. LOTR elrond: http://www.very-faer...ond_Council.jpg The minifigure we get looks exactly the same as in the game every print and every color. ONLY the cape's color is different from game. EDIT: Here is your game/minifig - movie comparison http://images.vg247....the-Council.jpg http://www.very-faer...d_Council_2.jpg hint: compare Elrond's red torso to Frodos red waistcoat and you'll see that its the same color. standard lego dark red.

    Thranduil is my most wanted minifig of 2013. *crosses fingers* (Also hope we get a "new" Tauriel with Arwens hair mold, if we get more Tauriel figs and they keep using the current hair i'll be dissapointed since the Arwen hair fits her so much better)

    Your a little late to the party, the mesurement of the tower was part of the very first information we had on this set a while back. IF the video game is anything to go by, he dosen't have eyes but some lumpy and wrinkly skin. in the back of the head hes got similar thin gray printed hair to the orcs.

    Yes it's an undead soldier, the glow is propably just to make the boxart look nicer and getting the point actross they are "ghosts"

    Zooming in all the way however makes it seem like the part of the diadem thats sticks into his forehead is a 3d thing thats not just a print. Either way the hair hanging down does not appear to have the "knots" it does in the game. Wich if it is a new hair with diadem would be more usefull for Galadriel. all the 10 new minifigures appears more or less exactly as they did in the game, so if physical Elrond were to have a purely printed crown, wouldn't that be the case in the game aswell? maybe for scale reasons they 'molded' in game it to look better on a big screen... We MIGHT have a real answer in a week, with the german toy fair (30th feb)

    The cape on Elrond makes it seem less flowy cause it covers up the back part that shows on Arwen. Isn't the 2 we got enough? 1 bald, 1 with hair, unless they make "hero" orcs I don't see a need for any more.
