  1. I voted for the Imp boy for the parts assorment, not for the whole minifigure.
  2. Ok I expressed myself in an incorrect way. You can't use Elve's hairpieces in a "yellow" MOC, so being LOTR the only castle/fantasy theme with realistic skin-tones, you miss the chance to blend Elves' hairpieces with dozens of castle themes we had throughout the years. You can IMPORT useful pieces from other themes to Elves, but seldom you can EXPORT Elves' pieces to other themes, and since Elves will die eventually, the other way around could have been impressively more useful. But as you pointed out, probably would have sold less. So, regrets.
  3. If only they made this stuff in yellow instead of flesh... this could have been useful for mixing with other themes...
  4. CM4Sci is losing, and he can't vote for himself as he's no longer here...
  5. Hello everybody. I may say that Legends of Chima was an overrated theme. I recall TLG saying that it was going to be something way better than Ninjago but, as we can see, Ninjago became an evergreen and Chima is history. Expectations don't always meet reality, and Chima may have been a nice theme the first year, then I think they messed too much (my opinion) or something else happened because the sets were left on the shelves, not only, but many of them went to ridicolous discounts and still a battlepack is on shop.lego.com at 50% and no one wants it. I've sold minifigures as a part time job, and Chima were the cheapest (costing like a city minifig) and still nobody wanted those. And this is mirrored on bricklink, where the Chima minifigures are very very cheap! Now, they probably learnt their lesson, and if it is true that they want to end this theme even sooner than Chima I may infer that NK was indeed a very low seller. Where I live I've seen already a lot of discounts. Really. Up to 50%. But I heard also of 75% discounts. Which means, clearly, that this theme was not appreciated. I understand that some of you guys really liked the theme. I can't find a reason to like the theme as a whole. I liked, and very much, many parts and minifigures, so I have mixed feelings about NK ending. If NK ends and it's replaced by something like Kingdoms, or Fantasy Era, that is really good news. If NK ends and it's replaced by castle 2013, well... I have to say I prefere Nexo Knights at least for the parts (I don't find most of the set attractive nowadays, really, I rely on parts for my MOCs, that's what's LEGO after all). I however agree with @x105Black when he says that Mark Stafford did an excellent job for what he could have done, is the theme that it's a problem, not the set designs. For instance, all that dark purple in this year's wave is really unfitting and a real mystery to me. Would have been dark blue or black I would have surely bought much more than I have done. Also the battlepacks really seem random minifigures pieces put all together to me. My opinion is that big sets weren't interesting. I have more than 200 NK minifigures as now, and I've bought 2 sets costing more than $10. The big sets weren't worth it. But that's not my feeling only. Fortrex apart, I really have to say that I wasn't able to sell much of those big sets. I recently bought the Magmar's Siege Machine at 45% discount and a free polybag. Only three minifigures for one big set was really a pity, when discounted at 45% things started to make sense. Let's just hope that what will come isn't even worse than NK. I don't want to regret it. Your thoughts are supported by evidence.
  6. Captain too... and well that's good because you'll probably end being happy!
  7. If one more vote goes for the farmer, I'll close it. EDIT: Nope... minotaur got one. Again let's wait.
