I'm sorry about this probably obvious question, but is anything that is not a weapon considered an artifact? ie. armor, hats, gloves, boots etc? OR are only items listed as having magical powers considered artifacts? And how do you know if it is an artifact or not if it has no powers listed?

OOC: How do you know if something is an artifact, or a piece of clothing, or just armor? I assumed a hat was a hat and the armor was armor, since neither had any magical powers.

My Thanks, but may I keep the hat until we have returned to Heroica Hall? I feel it may yet be of use? Vindsval Pockets the gold, and begins to expertly break down the armor and affix it to his harness. When he is done you would almost believe it was fashioned specifically for him. You wonder where he obtained the expertise to do such a thing. Then realize that a creature of his size, both larger than his father and smaller than his mother, has been forced to make due with ill fitting equipment his entire life. I would prefer to spend some time in rest and meditation to replenish my energies and thank the Wanderer for this victory.

My daughter is a pretty big hobbit and medieval knights fan so that is how I will introduce the game. I think she will have fun making up stories as the games progress.

the first set arrived in the mail today. Caverns of Nathuz. I have assembled it and read over the rulebook. i really like it. I am expecting the others tomorrow. Hopefully we will be able to play them individually this weekend and I will let you know what the 7 year old in the house thinks.

True, he has been "off" since we found him hiding under a table in Heroica Hall. But his speech does seem to be worsenning. ooc: Yeah I know he is doing ok health wise. It was just a roleplaying comment.

We would do well to finish this battle soon. I do not think Bobby will live through another blow to the head. It appears to have scrambled his wits.
