Vindsval steps up to the strangely dressed man and nods his head. He speaks in a low slow voice that you feel as much as here. If you were to use a book cliche you would describe it as the sounds of large boulders rolling against one another. Not unpleasant, but well beyond the range of normal human speech. We are well met. I am called Vindsvall The Half Born. I have spoken with Carvenhall Lokikin, but these other and yourself are strangers to me. Perhaps, we should begin with introductions?

very believable. wonderful build.

The eternal fields of glory. There are five more days until my current quest starts. Is that enough time for a low level field of glory? If so how do I build or join a group?
-
I will return shortly. Well met Carvenhall. Vindsvall leaves the hall in search of the market. Vindsvall ducks back into the hall. This time with a bedroll slung across his massive back. He moves to the bar and asks the barkeep. Pardon me, but would you happen to have any very large mugs?
-
Vindsval enters the market and moves first to Portia's Potion Shack. If I were less in need there would be a great many items here I could make use of. As it is, I will limit myself to one Smoke Bomb. Thank you, my lady. He hands her 5 gold in exchange for a smoke bomb. It literally disappears in his enormous hand. He continues along the shops until he comes to Gnomeo's Tool Shed. Friend Gnomeo, It was recomended to me that I purchase one of your fine bedrolls. He hands the small man the last of his coin and takes the largest bedroll he can find. Many thanks. Purchased smoke bomb and bedroll for a total of 10 gold.
-
Many thanks. Perhaps I should visit the market while I wait.
-
And Vindsval loves being one. Can't wait for his first quest to start.

That is a question not easily answered. Let it just be said that my birthplace was to the far north, to protect those who have protected me I am afraid I may not speak more openly in these rather busy halls. I may tell you however that I have traveled here bring honor to my house and to gain knowledge of the world for "The Wanderer" To do so however I am in need of funds and equipment. I have only what you see before you. The journey to this land depleted all of my meager coin, and treachery relieved me of all but my barest of belongings. But,I heard rumor of this hall in my travels and that all who yearned for battle, knowledge, and prestige were welcome . As well as that quests could be found. I have since entered my name to a scroll. Now I wait for others to join me on that quest. In the meantime, is there somewhere I could attempt to purchase some traveling necessities, though what I might be able to afford is questionable.

Vindsval raises an eyebrow at the display of magic. Impressive skill small one, Carvenhall Lokikin, Beastwarrior, Dragonslayer. I am called Vindsvall Half-born, Druids Son, Jotnar Spawn, Cleric of the Gray Wanderer. He switches his enormous hammer to his left hand and holds out his right. Though it is nearly as large as the Half-Elf's entire torso it is clearly a non-threatening gesture. If it would be so, I would consider ourselves well met.

Vindsval turns towards the woman regarding her for a moment. He then replies slowly his voice quite deep and low. He seems very loud ... for most things. Though I would have to agree that lizards do tend more towards the silent side of things. Father once told me of what his people called the Screaming Wyrm. Perhaps they are kin?
-
Vindsval tilts his head up, but only ever so slightly, so as to be looking the loud little man in the eye. I think, I am one who wonders if I am being addressed by another who is simply very bold or very foolish.
-
Thanks, though I wish I had started at page one to see the updates. I did a lot of digging.

The door opens and a large shadow passes over the opening. A large head with pointed ears ducks through the opening, it is followed by an equally large body and even larger hammer. The Half-Giant walks to the notice boards and reads the two current postings. He kneels and draws a set of thin wands from his belt. Selecting five he tosses them to the floor and peers at them in earnest. Interesting, this is not as I expected to be lead. But, if it be their will, let it be followed. He rumbles quietly to himself. He stands and scrolls his name at the bottom of the list for Quest #110. That done he shoulders his hammer, moves to the side of the hall, and quietly watches the crowd mill around him. It would seem there is much for me to learn. Vindsval signs up for quest 110

I have assumed you have to wait until a new quest starts, is that the case or can you PM the quest master and ask for permission to be added.
-
Many Thanks Flipz. Now it would appear I am ready to go. How often are new quests started and how to I let the bosses know I want to join it?
-
I am terrible at forum signatures, always have been. I finally got a useable pic of a character to add to his stats post. How do I get my characters link to read as its name rather than the url?
-
That is a set I would buy on sight. Wonderful work.

Now that is a frontage item if I ever saw one. Glad it's still there so I didn't miss the performance. -
Vindsval leans his pole hammer against the wall of the nearest building. His voice grinds deep in his throat. It would seem that the snow might yet fall of my eaves. I shall add my script to this game of chance. He signs his name to the ticket and creases it thrice. A large raven alights on the edge of his hammer. Return this to thy master. Vindsval places the ticket in the raven's beak and watches it fly off to deliver his entry.

ok, I think I have a character stat post written correctly. Assuming I dont pick any additional gear or items to start I think I am good to go. Now to start reading the rules.

Post-Apocalypse and Steampunk Minifigs & parts?
Asphalt replied to Yzalirk's topic in General LEGO Discussion
For minifgs I would go to the third part weapons makers. That is where you will find the best weapons, gear, and armor.
