Wow cool. Thanks!! how did you remove the triangle on the chest?
-
you are correct. I scanned my 8097 Slave 1 Boba Fett cape, traced the cape in photoshop, then printed it out on a dark blue piece of scrapbook paper. it has a slight texture to it but the paperweight is nice and sturdy.

Very cool. what is the tron disc? im curious. Also what legs are you using?

Nothing to get worked up about. got impatient with lighting but wanted to show off some figs I legoed. Mandalorian BP makes for a nice Jango as people have mentioned. Here is my attempt at the CW Deathwatch leader Pre Visla. I know he has a more samurai sword hilt and grip but I dont like the idea of simply painting a ninja/samurai blade black. It is technically a light saber in the cartoon. So here is a light saber with black blade. Modified my R2D2 with rotating head. tried making capes with scrapbook paper. (the orange one)

Yeah it is a bit heavy but as I said it would be great for larger MOCs and vehicles. The iphone/ipod can light up large objects but I think the ipad would be easier. For example, here is the biggest Transformer toy, Fortress Maximus. He stands at about 53.3cm.

Great shot Fenris. Is it shopped? If not where is this taken? Gorgeous un interupted scenery. Plus 1 on the iPhone flashlight/torch app. Im a flashaholic (collect flashlights) and the iphone is not terribly bright but if you can take long exposure, it is much faster than setting up diffused lighting or tents. All you really need is a sheet of paper and the iphone/ipad. hmm dunno if there is an ipad app but you could use it for larger MOCs or kits.

My local target put Battle of Endor on clearance. $85. Hoth set (with tauntaun) was $16.98 but my local Lego store was cheaper at $12.98

I believe there are two versions of Ceremony Luke. White pupils and no white pupils. Which do you have?

I think you misread what I said. Or perhaps I didnt communicate properly. I never said he would win. I merely do not wish the creator to stop creating. If this creation and photograph does not meet to the contest rules, then so be it. It is a great creation. That is all I meant to say. The OP should keep making other great creations.

NEVER!!!!! Keep fighting the good fight, dont bend over to the establishment. Down with the man, wait what? haha Mos_Eisley, keep up the out of box thinking. This pic is awesome. If it does not meet the criteria of the contest, it is the contest that doesnt meet the criteria of your photograph!!! It is a great idea and concept. Never penalize or stunt your creativity to satistfy the masses. Keep Bricking!!!

I remember when they first came out. Cool idea but never bothered to get one. Anyone have one or know of a review? Im looking at a recently released Enlighten brick gun that flicks plastic pegs out. When i get it I will do a review.

Much clearer. Very funny. Although why santa is near naked gives me cause for concern.
-
Ok how do I get this? Join brickmaster?

dont sweat it Ceroknight. I've done the same thing. you get so focused with the lighting and composition that you completely miss the small details that now seem obvious. like missing hand.

Was the smoke a practical effect or photoshop smoke? -
I have to agree. I love the concept. I especially like the take on 12 days of xmas. Very cute and it pretty much sounds like it could be sung. The only problem is that there are so many little scenes that it is hard to capture. Take a look at my Xmas Death Star. I added more and more and only had liek 4 scenes. While cute and funny, it loses the luster. So i dialed down to my throne room shot. Independant shots of each scene should be taken so we can really enjoy each scene. ok I just saw your link I love the scenes. where did you get the croissants and the turkey?

I love the laser effect. even though lasers are straight and yours are not. It is a very cool effect. I didnt really notice any focus issues. looks fine.

actually the rules said that a folder can be linked for more images but It is the main image that will be judged. In this case I want to see some great DOF over the heads of the stormies. What an awesome display!!!
