Oh I forgot to mention. that the Lightsaber lights up, of the large LED light figure. The keychain, basing off the picture, doesnt have a light saber.

I felt my trip to NYTF was special so I made a thread. On another note. I got a free Chrome Vader after chatting up the nice lady at the Lego Licensing booth. I was asking a bunch of questions about the LED lights. I asked why was this guy all alone and where I could get one. She let me have it. Also if you notice, someone doesnt know Lego AT ALL, the cape was put on UNDER the arms.

I saw these too at NY TF.

I posted up the SW sets I saw. Just to quickly repeat, I didnt get to go into Lego booth. Had to have an appointment. However I did take pictures of what was outside the booth. I think most of this stuff has been seen. But the Statue Captain Jack is new for me.

Im glad I brought along the Macro lens. Im using my friend's DSLR Canon and his lenses. One of which is a great Sigma macro. Perfect for those close up detail shots. Which can be missed using a standard lens.

So I just got back from NY Toyfair 2011. Sad to say I did not get to go inside the lego booth. The toyfair is strictly business and appointment only for the big time toy makers. However they did line the outside of their booth with snippet windows. Got to see some SW sets in prototype form!!! New SW licensed Lego gear coming soon as well. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. I am so excited about this. I cant wait to get one. (I collect flashlights). The torch was there. On the product list guide there is supposed to be a Darth Vader keychain as well. Same size as the other lego light keychains. No word on other SW characters. Millenium Falcon. Pay attention to the white decals/stickers they are labeled I dont know if these really are what we will get in the retail product but it looks like Luke is getting new hair (rapid prototype) and Leia is getting new hair (rapid prototype) the Luke hair is really interesting as it looks like the Collectible Series 2 Surfer hair but it is not. I was in the Salt Lake City Airport and I saw these in the terminal toy store. I will post pics later as they are on my phone. But there is a Fireman and Construction worker LED headlamp and a Fireman large crank dynamo lantern light.

What picture are you looking at? I went to that site and the picture looks like the UCS. Even the close up of the cockpit.

Good to know thanks. I have some friends going. Had I known about the White Boba Fett, I would have had them get them. I dont want to miss out this year

I agree. I actually like the AT-TE as I have the CW version. This looks fantastic. I would like TLG to make this.

I agree it is a bootleg. But it is NOT the same as the canadian guy. The Canadian guy bought a Brickgun. Probably the Lego glock.

It shoots a few feet. Nothing dangerous unless you point into the eye. But the same could be said about a spoon. The springs are not that strong. I dont see long term damage from the springs.

While I did not know of Zorro, I do know a little about losing a family member at an early age. My older brother died unexpectedly in 2007. He was 30 years old. Unfortunately the cause of death was never determined. I dont know the details of Dieter's passing but no matter what the reason, it was too soon. No parent or sibling should go thru this. The best advice is to always remember the good times. The pain will be come duller as time passes. However jealousy of others and context always brings the loss and memory of my brother back to my mind and the pain returns. Solace your self that you loved Dieter and he loved you in return. As my mother says, about my brother, he will no longer have to suffer this life. Dieter is at peace now.

I used to collect Playmobil. great solid toys. I would like to see Lego take on real racing, like how Playmobil used to. i know lego has done Ferrari. But I would like to see rally. Playmobil made a great set for the Paris Dakar rally. Here is what im talking about. But I still would like to see it official from Lego.
