I picked up a new May Store Calendar and it looks like the Hulk figure is not set specific. It seems like you can buy anything you want and you get the Hulk.

So I posted up that there is a mini Lego Store set limited edition available only at Lego Store Grand Openings. Someone on a non LEGO forum posted this listing of stores. Nashville, TN Victor, NY Vancouver, BC; Canada Wauwatosa, WI The Woodlands, TX Peabody, MA Overland Park, KS Elizabeth, NJ Seattle, WA Alpharetta, GA I tried calling LEGO customer service to find out more but they knew even less that I did. Like Vancouver, BC Canada store opens May 4-6 as per the May Store Calendar. I suppose that all the May Stores are already listed on the calendar then the other ones down the list must be in June? Any ideas how I can get more info so I can plan to go to the one nearest me?

Went to two Lego Stores. Nothing. Target, nothing. But two TRUs had the Avengers sets. Picked up Cap and Ironman.

I guess you have never been to Hong Kong or Manhattan? It is very easy to have a 2-3 story McDonald's due to the limited space, it is easier to expand vertically than it is horizontally in those cities.

I think we are assuming that you need to spend $75 in only Star Wars Lego. While not explicitly detailed as such, I suppose you could go to a Lego Store, buy a $40 SW set and then something else for $35. It is at the discretion of the store Employee. I think we can agree that the "spirit" of the promo is to buy SW Lego. I might get the new Tiefighter cause I want the droid and Death Star trooper. With the R2 set, I might be able to get 3 TC-14s. hehe.

Well You dont get the VIP points. I got lucky last year. I bought the Dropship and got 3 ARF troopers at my local store. Since the Dropship was the equivalent of spending $75x3 times so I should get 3x ARF troopers. So hopefully if R2 is available, I will get him and two TC-14 figs. One to open and one to keep sealed.

I build them and display them for a while. Then I take them down and put them in gallon ziploc baggies back in their boxes. It is hard to have so many Lego in a one bedroom apartment.

I couldnt find a thread but I was thinking of possible CMFs. Greek Mythology. Ninjago has a snake body for the legs of a minifigure. They could easily make a Medusa figure. They would just need to make snake hair. Then they could branch out to other greek gods. They already made Poseidon/Neptune in the next series. So why not Zeus with lightning? Or other heroes like Jason with a golden fleece. We have a Minotaur so why not Theseus and other heroes like Hercules?

I really hope UCS R2 comes in time for May 4th. Any one have the May Lego Store calendar?

Familiar how? Sorry I dont know much about it. But it looks nice. I recently bought a firebrigade but have yet to build it. edit: I took a look at Lego.com and it looks like the creator just replaced the fire brigade bell with gold chrome pieces.

My wife likes some of the city sets. She says I should focus on Starwars and her on City. She considered the Creator Modular Petshop, Fire Brigade, etc a part of City. She likes to help look for CMF too. When we build she likes to mix all the pieces up (rather than sort by color first) then find the pieces for each step in the instructions while I build a step or two behind her.
