So talk about Pre-Vizsla's prototype has stirred up questions of his minifig. Here is my Pre-Vizsla I made immediately after buying the Deathwatch battlepack. But after the Toy Fair pictures discussions were brought up about his sword being inaccurate. Here is my take after some discussion.

Actually I prefer my older Jabba. I feel like it is the difference between puppet Jabba and CG Jabba. Puppet Jabba being the old lego version and CG Jabba is the 2012 Jabba. Dont get me wrong I will get the new one. I like the waist articulation and that Salacious crumb can sit on his hand. I actually like my old Gamorean Guard than the new one.

I mean I can already see what I intend for bespin. Either Millenium falcon or Slave 1. Deathstar has WAY too many good ones. I would like to see people make use of the planets. Like build an internal structure for the deathstar that is revealed when you pop it open.

What is that orange thing in the back? Is that a new lego separator?

Has anyone asked TLG the obviously searing question regarding Jabba's Palace? "When will we get a proper Rancor and pit?" Im not holding my breath but Im pretty pleased with my Pre-Vizla already.

where is this from? Toy Fair? Maybe it is the May 4th figure at Lego store?

I picked up this set yesterday too. My wife wants to build it so we haven't gotten started yet. But $80 for all those pieces isn't too shabby. I want to make a mini land firetruck for this.

hey guys, perhaps you more experienced guys might now this answer. So I added power functions 88000, 88002 motor, 8870 light, and 8884 I receiver to my wifes christmas train. The 6xAAA are too weak to power the light and run the train motor. You can see the lights dim and the train slowly chugs along. It runs a smidgen better if the lights are off. I also recently got the Motorized Star wars Lego ATAT. It uses the 8881 Power Box. The 6xAA batteries are a little underwhelming. A part of my hobbies is flashlights. To get more light out of LEDs we can over drive them with rechargeable li-ion batteries. There is a battery called a 14500. It is the same physical size of a AA but it is 3.7 volts. 4.2 volts hot off the charger. I was wondering if I ran 3 of these in the 8881 power box with 4 dummy AA spacers, theoretically it will be 11.1 volts. Would this burn out the motor? Has any one tried running more voltage thru these power functions? Also does the 8882 XL motor have more torque than the 8883 M motor?

I actually prefer my first gen joker. The simple face and clean torso just looks nicer to me.
