    Yeah I'm suspecting they'll do a variety of different contests. Maybe another MoCing contest for the Mask of Creation, this time MoCing a good guy.

    Those are some great tips, thank you! I'm studying some really well made MoCs and the techniques used are amazing. I thought of a couple things, tested them out in LDD before Bricklinking the pieces I'd need and thought they looked really nice.

    I, too, am trying to learn the art of complex Bionicle MOCing and from what I've seen, the big things are creative use of Technic, System and Minifig pieces to make the body (kinda like in Titan sets but more refined) and thinking of new ways to use pieces made for only a couple specific purposes.

    The only moment in this series I've facepalmed was the arrow scene (woulda facepalmed at the cartoonish sound in the beginning of Deep Breath had I not found it incredibly hilarious). What were the moments in other episodes?

    I don't think we should discuss entries in this thread, but if you'd like to shoot me a PM I'll critique it. On the topic of the contest, since the Skull Spider mask is the one being distributed, I'm subscribing to the theory that it's the MoUP.

    Yeah, the Bionicle games might not be very good from a gameplay perspective (Maze of Shadows notwithstanding, that one nails gameplay as well), but they have fantastic soundtracks.

    I'd also like the regions to have their own sounds. I'd love for Ga-Koto and Ko-Koto (that's what I'm calling the regions till we get canon names) to have music similar to the Ga-Koro and Ko-Wahi themes (respectively) from BTG. I'd like something like MNOG Onu-Koro theme for Onu-Koto and something like Bionicle Heroes Matoran Enclave theme for Ta-Koto. For Le-Koto, I think the BTG Le-Wahi theme would be nice. Not sure what for Po-Koto, other than definitely didgeridoos.

    I also see it as a mix of the Miru and Calix, but with a bit of Stormer shoved in.

    Kopaka's still my fave. Kinda disappointed about the shield connection (if that's correct), but not too bothered regardless.

    I'll be sure to give this a shot, even though I'm pretty new to MoCing. I've got some questions about entires: 1-Are we allowed to enter the same set on multiple sites? 2-How many entries are we allowed, unless it's only one set per site? 3-What's the limit and max pictures allowed, or do you get to take as many as you feel necessary? 4-I assume we write a description and name for our villain with our entry, correct? Thanks!

    Headcanon for Lewa as a spry old rebel confirmed. It's kinda ironic you said that he's beaten to death with the ugly stick, some of my friends consider his mask to be the best looking of the new masks. XD

    My bad, I didn't know. Eh, I prefer the aforementioned swords but the ones that are there look pretty nice nonetheless.

    I really liked Lewa, but I found it ironic how he glides like Lewa Nuva yet can't move his head up. Also I wish they used Dragon Bolt's wing piece, which I think looks like an actual katana, in place of silver Tahu swords since they look nicer with the axe piece and because that'd be a reference to Lewa Nuva's Air Katana.

    I prefer the attention to detail in G1 (even if it's more of a sure why not) because it makes everything so much larger, but I can understand that it gets confusing. I'll be looking forward to the reboot, but I'm still gonna pay attention to what details get canonized for G1.

    I find LoMN and WoS' soundtracks particularly spectacular. I still get a little teary when listening to them.

    That could just be a canon discrepancy in MNOG and MNOGII, or the Akaku is the only mask with a built-in scope that has other uses aside from its mask power, or maybe it and the Great Matatu are popular masks to mod (Nuju and Kazi had Matatus with scopes). I'd lean towards the first or the last, since the Noble Akaku (as seen on Solek) has no scope.

    I think he refers storywise, that the old canon doesn't cease to exist as an AU due to the existence of the new canon. Yeah, I'm considering '01 and '15 Bionicle as parallel dimensions.
