  1. I've always pictured that as the mechanical implantments and armor being most noticeable and the organic being existing within, so TLR animation and Greg's descriptions never conflicted in my mind.
  2. I've always preferred the TLR-style animation but I think the NYCC animation is a perfect compromise between set-like and artistic licence.
  3. I hope, I really wanted a Bionicle TV show.
  4. Looks like Hahli Mahri is no longer alone in being voiced by a man in animations.
  5. The 2008 set of Takanuva was originally gonna be Toa Ahkmou. (@ an above post saying he was probably gonna be orange, I believe he was always supposed to be grey like 2008 Takanuva). It's just in Reign of Shadows that Teridax appointed him as Turaga. I wonder where the story would've gone if they made Ahkmou a Shadow Toa, rather than corrupt Takanuva.
  6. I believe Ekimu is the confirmed spelling. I think maybe the masks will be featured in another set and eventually Ekimu and Makuta will be released.
  7. I'm really loving this series so far. Capaldi quickly rose through the ranks among my favorite Doctors.
  8. One of Hahli Mahri's feet broke and I was gonna order a replacement from BL but then I remembered the 07 lime fiasco. Are there any lime joints (with the 01-07 design) produced? Or are they all brittle?
  9. The Vahi cloud just struck me as a joke. TTV said something about Time Trap being mentioned, can anyone elaborate on that?
  10. Vezon confirmed for Okotoverse I'm seriously hoping he gets at least a cameo appearance/reference at SOME point. xD
  11. I need a Makuta set for only two reasons: his mask and his EYE COLOR.
  12. I was listening to Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions and then decided to listen to the LoMN soundtrack and was thinking how amazing it'd be to hear this in a concert. Probably never gonna happen though. xD
  13. It was posted a little earlier, but thanks for reposting/bumping regardless.
  14. I just noticed the eyestalk peeking out of Onua's head like the Metru/Phantoka Makuta. Also the way the eyestalk goes in looks really similar to the Metru head (open top for the head).
  15. Ooh, a stalactite village! Karda Nui nostalgia approaching.
  16. Whoa! Onua is amazing! That Pakari looks gorgeous and TRANS-PURPLE BONES!
  17. I hope they'll talk about whether what kind of music we'll have. Has Cryoshell done anything for Lego after Breakout?
  18. I really liked the BA sets. (Furno XL is my favorite HF set, followed by Dragon Bolt and then Breakout Stringer) To me their designs were really cool and the futuristic knight design of the heroes that year appealed to me. The story was pretty lame though, even if I did like Breez and Surge's side-story.
  19. The GBs were the brilliant but they were also very mad. They tended to follow the rule of cool.
  20. Yup, which would suggest the rest of the info we got is legit. I wonder why they'd go with 5 (presumably) titan-sized sets for the summer wave. I had heard the 2001 Rahi didn't sell very well and neither did many ~$35+ titans later, which is why HF canned them after Drop Ship. Was that true or false?
  21. Yeah, it'd be nice to see Ghost do the animation here, although I still prefer TTT. It looks more detailed.
  22. I also don't care whether it's 2D or 3D, I just want them toy-accurate like TLR and an awesome soundtrack. (plus good writing of course)
  23. How are they Hero Factory figures? They use CCBS but use a different build (it integrates gear functions like 2001-2005). The skull spiders are also much better designed than the BA and IfB monsters, they seem to work like Krana also. The mask and weapon opinions are subjective, I think they're great but I understand they can be disliked. I don't care for the printing on the chests either. Personally, I haven't been more excited for a set since the Thornatus back in 09.
  24. I really liked the three Phantoka Toa, quite liked Onua and thought Tahu and Gali were alright. The last two were cool but I would've preferred lighter shades of their primary colors, since the Metru shades looked weird on them. I liked the use of gray and silver, it made them feel like they actually were wearing the Adaptive Armor. Just wish the Mistika had better melee weapons (I'm okay with Kopaka's bayonet and Pohatu's claws). I also really liked all their Kanohi, save for Gali's (though only for the waffle iron eye and how weird it looks without the wing pieces) At any rate, I'm glad these are more faithful since they'll be awesome to have side-by-side with their Nuva forms (since I only have 3 of the Mata, the Wairhua ones).
